Chapter 24: Chapter 23 :Scene

THIRD POV～

Living in the same hell for the last few days Bella sits in the middle of the bed not attempting to move.

Raffaele has kept her here for as long as she can remember and she is still trying to get used to his bipolar character.

One moment he is smiling at her.

The other he is angry

Another he is stern

and lastly before she can comprehend anything he starts acting like a child needing comfort.

Raffaele had given her the permission to move round the place but with a confition not to try anything stupid else she wants to be punished so she stuck to being a good girl to avoid his wrath.

Today however she felt the need to atleast go outside and have a little fun.

Walking out of the room with careful steps the lavender coloured dress that hugs her body and though from the waist down is flowy the dress still clings to her wide hips complimenting her curvy body.

Bella starts walking round the floor she is on and even starts opening the doors till she sees a huge library.

Her mouth opens in astonishment when she sees the tall shelves going up and tall with ladders placed around it for easy movement and collection of books.

’’Wow’’Bella mutters her hands gazing the lower shelves of book she is able to read and she takes out a book only to squeal out in exitement.

This is the type of books she loves and being a bookworm seeing so many books makes her happy to the point of tears.

She reads the book titled ’King’s Queen:she belongs to the king’And instantly it piques her interest.

Sitting down on the comfortable set out couch with pillows to help her she rests her body on it and open the book to start reading.

Two pages into the book Bella starts laughing simply captivated by the female lead of the novel who is wild and fun a stark contrast to the calm male lead.

She continues reading unaware of the time that has passed until she looks around her and sees that the place is dark.

Startled Bella stands up and walks outside the library with the book still in hand and starts looking round the big house.

Her eyes move around the place and she doesn’t see anybody not even the maids which puzzles her.

Bella walks downstairs and after walking around for sometime she still does not see anybody and so she decides to just roam round the place and unfortunately for her her eyes land on a door.

Opening the door she is starteled to be greated by darkness and she stands there her eyes adjusting to the dark before she walks deeper into the place.

She sees an iron door and is surprised to find the door opened and though her gut feeling is telling her to go back ger curiousity gets the better of her and she continues walking into the place.

Crinkling her nose when her nose is hit with the strong smell of blood she continues walkng down the place.

Painful screams fill the air and Bella quickens her steps with her hold tightening on the book.

’What is that’She mumbles to herself and turns the corner and she met with a huge cell.

Moving closer to the cell she finds Raffaele’s back facing her while he points his gun at a bladly beaten and restrained man.

The guards don’t notice her and she just stands there like she is in a trance and everything seems to move in slow motion as Raffaele pulls the trigger.

’’No’’She screams starring as life gets drained out of the man.

Hearing the scream all eyes snap towards her.

’’Shit’’Raffaele lets out before running towards Bella whose legs start to drop with her body trembling in fright.

’’Bella’’Raffaele calls out lightly shaking her.

’’Please baby wake up’’Raffaele pleads lifting her body and starts walking out but not before glaring at his men who gulp in fear.
