Manman approached with her fiery red hair both curly and wild, her long locks tied into two little tufts. She bore a seven-parts resemblance to Ming Linyuan, but those eyes were the spitting image of Sally’s—sly and clever, making one wish they could place the whole world at her feet, only to please her and make her happy.

Following her was Little Bao, who still hadn’t shed his birth fur, his mood somewhat downcast.
