Chapter 64: Mutated Xuan Yin Ghost Mother

His gaze turned toward the direction where the screams came from, and he saw a beam of light flickering continuously in the darkness.  

Behind that light was a shadow drifting back and forth. Whenever the light swept over the shadow, it revealed a figure wearing red clothes, with disheveled hair covering its face, hands with fingers like steel blades, and as the hair moved, a glimpse of blood-red eyes belonging to a Mystical Spirit could be seen.  

“Profound Yin Ghost Mother!” Although he couldn't see clearly, Chen Guan immediately guessed what Mystical Spirit it was.  

He had done plenty of research before coming, so naturally, he knew what the Profound Yin Ghost Mother looked like.  

The person being chased by the Profound Yin Ghost Mother was obviously a cultivator wearing a headlamp, but ironically, because of the headlamp, his appearance was hidden.

The other pet looked strange and unfamiliar, probably not a powerful one either.

The Evil Cute Rabbit and the other pet had already confronted the Profound Yin Ghost Mother. That pet, with four arms and four legs resembling a skeletal spider, charged directly at the Profound Yin Ghost Mother.  

“Such idiots! They’re fighting the Profound Yin Ghost Mother head-on. Don’t they know the Profound Yin Ghost Mother has the Profound Nether Yin Fire Palm? For Mystical Spirits of the same level, unless they have peerless secret skills, facing the Profound Nether Yin Fire Palm directly will lead to a huge loss. Especially since this is a mutated Profound Yin Ghost Mother.” Duan Shulin’s footsteps quickened.  

He had originally thought those two pets could at least hold on for a few seconds, but now it seemed they might be dealt with after just one clash, unable to buy any time.  

Sure enough, the Profound Yin Ghost Mother unleashed the Profound Nether Yin Fire Palm. The pale hand was engulfed in chilling blue flames, clashing palm to palm with the Tomb Lord.  

Duan Shulin was stunned to see that the strange-looking pet was not killed by the Profound Yin Ghost Mother’s palm strike. Instead, it grabbed her palm.  

The next moment, the Tomb Lord wrapped all eight limbs like an octopus, simultaneously using Crushing Heart Claws. The Profound Yin Ghost Mother blocked two of the claws but had no way to defend against the other two, and her body was immediately restrained and trapped by the Tomb Lord.  

The Profound Yin Ghost Mother let out a sharp scream, trying to unleash her power to break free from the claws piercing her body, but it was already too late.  

Rouge leapt up from behind the Tomb Lord and slashed the Profound Yin Ghost Mother’s head with the Bloodsucking Blade, instantly decapitating her.  

Seeing this, Duan Shulin’s eyes widened, and his fleeing steps involuntarily halted.  

“Damn, are those two pets really that fierce? That strange pet could withstand the Profound Nether Yin Fire Palm, and the Evil Cute Rabbit killed the Profound Yin Ghost Mother with one strike — and it’s a mutated one! This is insane. And that Evil Cute Rabbit actually has a sword? Since when did Evil Cute Rabbits have a treasure weapon?” Duan Shulin stared at the two pets in shock.  

As the Profound Yin Ghost Mother’s corpse fell, black particles like smoke drifted off her body and condensed into Chen Guan’s hand, quickly forming a black Secret Core.  

Chen Guan wasn’t surprised that the Profound Yin Ghost Mother was killed so quickly. Since he chose to come to the Profound Yin Cave, he had naturally done his homework.
