"Here we go!" Declared Jules, rushing towards the building along with the others, the other three groups following suit as she shot a fireball into the air, signaling them to begin the attack.

The illusion around the warehouse disappeared as Tacitus nullified it, before the forces charged into the rundown building.

Raven swiftly flew up with a powerful flap of his wings, before swooping down with immense speed and slamming his feet against the floor with a devastating impact.

Deep cracks spread out across the floor before it caved in, loud crashes ringing out as several cries of alarm echoed out from below.

A massive basement came into sight, a large number of people down there, with shocked looks on their faces. They were all geared up and armed, and the way they were all gathered up, it was evident that they were preparing for another attack.

"Looks like our timing was perfect, seems they were in the middle of getting ready to make their next move!" Exclaimed Aster, as he leapt in through the opening and unleashed a barrage of telekinetic blasts all around him, cries of pain ringing out.

"Tch, you bastards...I’ll make you pay for giving me so much extra work!" Snapped Kora, immense lightning erupting around her and wrapping around her body as she leapt down.

She zipped across with immense speed as the lightning surrounding her crackled intensely, cries of pain ringing out as she tore through the throats of several of the Anima Shield members with her claws.

"Impressive," Mused Jules as she landed in the area below, before whipping her sword across and unleashing a devastating burst of flames as a couple of the enemies sprang up behind her, blasting them away.

A deafening crash rang out as Tacitus slammed his blade against one of the enemies, a sharp crunch echoing out upon impact as they got sent hurtling back through the air with blood pouring out of their mouth, their chest deeply caved in.

Several more cries rang out as Raven flew out and unleashed blasts of purple flames down at the enemy, burning a number of them alive, helpless against his bombardment.

Akila phased through one of the enemies, before hesitating as he slipped behind them and raised his blade, grimacing as his mind flashed back to the sensation of killing the two he’d fought before.

He flinched as the enemy spun around and began to swing a sword at him, a sharp clang ringing out as Kia rushed in and blocked the slash, before plunging one of her blades into the enemy’s throat.

"You have to focus, you’ll die if you freeze up!"

"I-I...I know, I’m sorry," He replied with a frustrated grimace, tightening his grip on the handles of his blades.

"Okay, stick by me for the rest of this battle, you’re in no mental state to fight right now!" She responded, before swinging one of her blades across as a lightning bolt came shooting towards Akila, the attack dissipating as Kia intercepted it with her blade.

Sharp gasps of pain rang out as Antel extended out several earth spikes around him as a number of the enemies rushed in towards him from multiple directions, the spikes skewering them before they could react.

The other Adventurers were cutting down the enemy pretty rapidly too, their numbers shrinking at an alarming rate.

Several thuds echoed out amidst a cloud of dark mist, which faded to reveal seven corpses strewn on the ground around Nero, who swung his dagger across to get the blood off it.

Raven continued to fly above the battle, his gaze scanning the area while he sharpened his senses, before narrowing his gaze at one of the corners as he sensed a presence there, but couldn’t see anyone.

His eyes began glowing, before he fired out a rapid blast of purple energy beams from his eyes towards that spot, the air around there shimmering before quickly moving away, right in time as the beams blasted that spot.

Raven swooped down towards the shimmer with immense speed, right as a figure came into sight, a barrier forming around them as Raven closed in and drove his claws forward, grimacing as his claws slammed onto the barrier but failed to pierce through.

"You must be the leader of this group...Lyon Pried, was it?" Remarked Raven, as he fired out an intense blast of flames from his mouth, but the barrier remained intact.

"Ah, seems the Spell I cast on my subordinates was undone somehow. That explains this attack too. But, so what? My barriers are perfect, nothing you do can break through!" He responded with a smirk.

He appeared to be in his mid-thirties, with long, dark blonde hair, green eyes, a slightly dark complexion, lion-like ears and a tail, with an average build and height.

"It doesn’t matter if I can’t break through," Replied Raven, before adding as he took a couple of steps back, "Now, let’s see what gets you first...the suffocation or the heat."

"Huh?"

Raven snapped open his jaws and unleashed a devastating wave of flames, which engulfed the barrier in a roaring, fiery purple blaze.

"I’ll fire out a prolonged wave of flames, they may not be able to break through his barrier, but the heat will roast him and burn up the air, he won’t be able to-...," Thought Raven, before his train of thought was interrupted as an intense shockwave burst out, his feet skidding back a couple of meters across the ground as the flames got blown away.

"It’s not going to be that easy!" Exclaimed Lyon, sweating profusely before he activated another Spell, disappearing from sight.

"Turning invisible again, huh? You can’t hide from me!" Snapped Raven, chasing after him as he began to run away.

Loud crashes then rang out as Aster blasted several of the remaining Anima Shield members with his telekinesis, hardly any of them still alive or conscious.

It wasn’t long before all of them had either been killed or knocked out, the others rushing over towards Raven as he continued to blast Lyon’s barrier with his flames, the enemy leader starting to look light-headed.

"Perisistent little shit, aren’t y-...?" He growled, before his eyes widened in alarm as his barrier suddenly faded, as Tacitus shot towards him as activated his Nullification Zone once he was in range.

Raven swooped down with immense speed, lightning crackling around his right fist as he drove it forward as he closed in on Lyon, slamming his fist against Lyon’s face and sending him hurtling away.

He hit the ground and skidded across with groan, a couple of teeth falling out of his mouth as he spat out blood, his cheek burnt and starting to swell up, before his body suddenly froze in place as Aster snuck up behind him.

"Let’s get rid of all those Spell Cards and Magic Items, shall we?" He remarked icily, before telekinetically crushing all of Lyon’s weapons as he felt them through his Telekinetic Zone.

"N-No...!" Blurted out Lyon in alarm, right as Aster struck his stomach with a telekinetic blast.

Lyon got sent flying back through the air with immense speed, before he coughed out blood as his back slammed against the wall.

"Surrender quietly or die. I can see that you don’t possess much Mana, and you haven’t adopted a Combat Template either...you can’t fight, and with all your Spells destroyed, you’re completely defenseless," Remarked Kora, as she and the others began to approach Lyon.

"Looks like I’m cornered, I have no way out of this, you’ve won...I’m sure that’s what all of you would like to think right now, wouldn’t you?" He smirked, before suddenly slamming his palm against the floor, running his Mana through it.

"What the...?" Blurted out Jules, as the entire floor began glowing ominously.

"Oh, no...! Shit, [Nullification Zone]!" Exclaimed Tacitus in alarm, activating and expanding his Zone Spell as fast as he could, but it was too late.

Only Raven was close enough to him, everyone else vanishing from sight in the blink of an eye.

"Hahaha....hahahahahaha! You fools, did you really think I wouldn’t have one last trick up my sleeve?! Under this entire floor, is a layer of Magic parchment, which is inscribed with a random teleporter function! It teleports everyone in its vicinity, except me, to areas high in Monster Mana concentration! Looks like two of you managed to avoid it, but that’s fine...those priceless looks on your faces are worth it!" He cackled gleefully, before Raven shot towards him furiously and grabbing his hair, lifting him up before slamming his fist against Lyon’s stomach, a sharp wheeze ringing out.

"Where the hell did you send them, you bastard?! Answer me or I’ll kill you!" Snapped Raven, his eyes glowing ominously.

"Ooh, scary! Hahahaha...and what part of random teleport did you not understand, dumbass? I have no idea where they are, you should just assume that they’re dead and-...," He began tauntingly, before Raven cut him off with a sharp strike to the side of his head, knocking him out.

"Don’t kill him. Let’s take him to the APF and have them use that truth Spell on him," Remarked Tacitus, placing a hand on Raven’s shoulder to calm him down.
