Chapter 361 - Chapter 361 Chapter 361 I Beg You_1
Chapter 361: Chapter 361: I Beg You_1 Chapter 361: Chapter 361: I Beg You_1 “When we initially started looking, Jiang Minmin’s mother Liu Yongxia insisted there was no one at home. Only after our people went for a search did we find her,”
“Let’s go! She must be feeling guilty,” Ying Jiuming said angrily as they left. “She’s acting like some kind of rural shrew. Anyone who tries to block our path will be charged with assaulting an officer and locked up for two weeks.”
Nan Fei stood in place, watching the police rush towards Liu Yongxia’s house. She frowned in contemplation. She knew what sort of person Jiang Minmin was–a liar.
She couldn’t stand to see others do well!
If things weren’t going well for her, she was only happy when she could drag everyone else down with her.
But as far as murder went, she really didn’t have the courage for it.
Hopefully, Sun Luping is safe and sound.
Upon returning home, Zhang Fengmei and Jiang Dechun were already busy. One was cooking dinner, the other was washing beans, preparing to make bean products. After leasing the fields to Qi Qin’s family, Jiang Dechun seemed much more relaxed than before.
No longer did he have to wake up early and work late, doing business and buying goods, while also tending to the crops.
You can’t burn the candle at both ends; even the most diligent and capable people can’t withstand it.
“Nan Fei’s back! Wash your hands, dinner’s almost ready,” Zhang Fengmei popped her head out from the kitchen, called out, then continued with her work.
In the courtyard, Jiang Dechun happened to see the box in his daughter’s hand and curiously asked, “What’s that you’ve got, Nan Fei?”
“Nothing!” Nan Fei replied tepidly, clutching the box as she retreated to her room.
Jiang Dechun shook his head with a bemused smile, “What’s up with that girl today?”
In her room, Nan Fei held the box, biting her lower lip, staring at it as if she was trying to burn a hole through it.
“Huo Beijiang!” She hissed, angrily enunciating each syllable.
Only he could think of something like this while out on a mission.
Nan Fei was both annoyed and embarrassed, hesitating a long while before opening the box again. A finely crafted medal lay inside–the words on it seemed to laugh at her.
Now, even with her eyes closed, she could imagine Huo Beijiang’s face, his eyes alight, unabashed.
That jerk!
He definitely did this on purpose.
All Nan Fei could think about was Huo Beijiang when she saw the medal, making her cheeks redden like apples.
In the end, she overlooked the medal and took out the note hidden at the bottom of the box. The official, red checkered paper was hastily scribbled with a message.
“Wife, you must wear it. I had one customized for myself too, I’ll wear it every day.”
Nan Fei crumpled the note into a ball, muttering through gritted teeth, “I won’t wear it! Anybody would think I’m insane!” But then, she carefully flattened the note and placed it back in the box.
That jerk! I beg you not to wear it.

The desert’s temperature varies greatly between day and night. As evening fell, the logistics team began to distribute warm clothing and light fires. Throughout the several days of continuous search, the rescue team encountered numerous difficulties, with sandstorms raging for days on end.
The rescue team suffered many losses, but luckily, their strong command and coordination capabilities, and combat capabilities far exceeded those of the researchers. Thus, despite the many dangers, they avoided casualties.
After a month of searching and rescue, the previously lost exploration team was found, though the outcome was far from ideal.
Heavy casualties were suffered.
Of the six national treasure scientists, only three were rescued.
One of whom had already perished.
“Boss, you go rest! I’ll take over the patrol,” Lu Jin ran over from the direction of the camp, carrying a gun on his back. As he got closer, he was surprised to find Tu Lou there too.
