After escaping the chatterbox Ming Xiaofan, Cheng Su and her husband left the restaurant, and just as Qi Taiguo had looked at Cheng Su countless times, Cheng Su finally couldn’t help but stop and look at him.

"If you have something to say, just say it. Why keep staring at me like that?"

Qi Taiguo scratched his head and said, "Well, it’s nothing much. I just wonder how you seem to know everything?"

What Cheng Su had just been discussing with Ming Xiaofan sounded to him like a fantasy, completely unimaginable, yet when the two of them talked, it seemed as if such things could really happen.

"But what you just said about everyone carrying a mobile phone, how could that be possible?" Qi Taiguo was still hesitant to believe.

"Back in ancient times, the ancients couldn’t have imagined that one day humans would be able to fly in the sky!" Cheng Su retorted.

Qi Taiguo was at a loss for words, and had to admit that this was also true.

"So the future has infinite possibilities. That’s inevitable," Cheng Su said with a smile.

Qi Taiguo sniffled and muttered, "I think you’re very certain about everything."

"Wasn’t I just annoyed? You’re not the one giving birth, of course, you wouldn’t understand," Cheng Su countered. "Women are always at a bit of a disadvantage compared to men. No matter the era, if a child can’t be born, people only blame the woman. That scene with your mom out of the blue, it annoyed me too, as if I was the only one at fault. You’re her son, of course, she wouldn’t blame you. In the end, I’m the one who faces embarrassment."

As she spoke, her sense of injustice grew, and she reached out to pinch him, saying with full grievance, "How would you know the embarrassment I felt, laying on that examination table with my legs spread for the doctor’s check-up."

Qi Taiguo, hearing her bring up past grievances again, hastily said, "Yes, yes, it’s all my fault. Women don’t have it easy."

Cheng Su gave him a disdainful look and sighed heavily. "Who knows what your mother will say when she goes back, she’s sure to blame everything on me."
