Chapter 88: Chapter 87: You Can’t Go In to Shoot
Su Chenfei finally found the opportunity to interject, "Once the show is over, Little Auntie will go to Kindergarten. I’ll definitely pick a good one for Little Auntie!"
"Isn’t Kindergarten a place to play?" Mianmian, remembering what Gu Youyou had said earlier, asked another question.
Su Chenfei hurriedly explained, "Kindergarten is about learning through play. After finishing Kindergarten comes elementary school. Little Auntie will have no problems."
"Oh." Mianmian nodded, "Then Mianmian and Youyou have agreed to go to the same Kindergarten. Will Big Brother come too?"
"Yeah." Chu Ye immediately agreed.
Chu Qi had finished dealing with the matters at hand and said to everyone, "You all go back to sleep. I’ll wait here for someone to come and take over."
Upon hearing this, Su Chenfei, holding Mianmian, turned and left quickly.
He walked very fast.
Mianmian hugged her seventh grandchild’s neck tightly and turned her head to wave at Chu Ye, "Good night, Big Brother."
Chu Ye raised his voice, "Good night."
Mianmian then looked towards Ying Fang and Ying Miao, reapplying the Illusion Talisman to the two little zombies so as not to frighten anyone.
The Wolf Demon Bai Bai also reverted to its Little Bun appearance and followed them back to the program team’s room.
Outside, the clearing skies revealed a bright, half-moon.
Ying Fang and Ying Miao did not return to their room but jumped onto a Big Tree in the village, standing on the branches to cultivate under the moonlight. However, as they were cultivating into the late night, the weather suddenly changed again, with clouds gathering, about to rain.
Because of the weather change, Chu Qi, who had just handed over his post to his subordinates, quickly brought his son to the room outside where Mianmian and Su Chenfei were staying.
Fearing the rain would start before they could knock, he and Chu Ye climbed straight through the window.
Su Chenfei had just calmed Mianmian to sleep and was scared out of his wits when the father and son appeared at the window.
"What are you two doing, father and son, sneaking in like thieves when the door is right there?"
Chu Qi’s eyes conveyed an apology, "Sorry, it’s about to rain. Xiaoye is entrusting Little Auntie to you."
Su Chenfei frowned.
So basically, when it’s raining, Chu Ye is supposed to sleep with his Little Auntie? Now that the kids are young, sleeping together is harmless. But what about when they grow up?
There’s a saying, ’Boys and girls should not share a seat after the age of seven!’
Su Chenfei was indignant, "Come on in, but you’re only allowed to hold Little Auntie’s hand."
Chu Ye took off his shoes and got into the bed, obediently holding Mianmian’s little hand, with a gap between the two Little Buns.
Though Su Chenfei was satisfied with Chu Ye’s propriety, he couldn’t help himself and placed a doll between the two little ones.
The doll was something Su Chenfei had brought from the Su Family, originally to coax Mianmian. Who knew Little Auntie didn’t need it at all.
Chu Ye was well-behaved in bed, holding Mianmian’s hand and closing his eyes after a while.
Su Chenfei, however, was somewhat sleepless.
Thinking about the days when Mianmian would grow up and the distressing thought of her being chased by boys and then taken away made him so uncomfortable that he wanted to howl.
The two Little Buns had gotten up in the middle of the night to catch someone, weren’t well-rested, and were still sound asleep at 8 o’clock in the morning. Su Chenfei, having stayed up half the night, couldn’t resist any longer and fell asleep too.
Chu Qi, getting no response when he knocked on the door and knowing they were still asleep inside, didn’t disturb them further and didn’t allow the staff to enter to film.
Otherwise, filming the two children sleeping together wouldn’t be quite appropriate.
In the room at that moment, the two children were sleeping soundly, but Su Chenfei was not. He slowly moved from his spot closer to Mianmian. As a result, Mianmian had only the option to snuggle up to Chu Ye, and the two Little Buns ended up lined up in a row, with the doll squeezed to one side.
Mianmian went from lying flat to lying on her side, her small, lotus root-like hand placed over Chu Ye.
Chu Ye’s eyes snapped open, and he was immediately stunned.
He felt like Mianmian was hugging him like a doll. Listening to Mianmian’s long, even breathing, she was obviously still asleep. Not wanting to wake her, he didn’t dare to move and remained rigid on the bed.
It wasn’t just Mianmian who was close to him; Su Chenfei was also close. Somehow, Su Chenfei had ended up sleeping diagonally, with one foot almost stretching onto Mianmian.
This made Chu Ye furrow his brows, a look of disdain for Su Chenfei evident on his small, handsome face.
Didn’t the information say that there were seven brothers in the Su Family? Why was it the unreliable Su Chenfei accompanying Mianmian on the show?
Seeing Su Chenfei begin to change positions in his sleep again, his foot about to stretch onto Mianmian, Chu Ye kicked out.
Men of the Chu Family practiced martial arts from a young age, and he was no exception.
When he kicked, Chu Ye used his full strength.
"Ow!" A sudden pain in his shin made Su Chenfei cry out and he abruptly opened his eyes.
He curled up his leg, holding it and gasping for air.
It hurt so much, like being hit by a stone. What was going on?
Su Chenfei sat up suspiciously and realized that his Little Auntie was almost falling off the bed. He scratched his head, looking apologetic. His sleeping habits weren’t great; he liked to move around and couldn’t control himself, which was why Little Auntie always ended up squashed at the edge of the bed in the morning.
Could it be his constant movement that caused his leg to cramp?
Thinking this, Su Chenfei, seeing Mianmian’s little hand resting on Chu Ye’s chest with her brows deeply furrowed, removed Mianmian’s hand.
Little Auntie couldn’t be so close to that stinky boy!
Looking at Mianmian’s other hand and discovering that both of her little hands were still joined together, he immediately made a fierce face at the still-sleeping Chu Ye.
Because he was so close to Chu Ye, Su Chenfei noticed that Chu Ye’s eyelashes were also very long, not much different from his Little Auntie’s.
Pah!
They were both little Milk Buns, but of course, his Little Auntie’s eyelashes were denser and longer. That stinky Chu Ye was no match!
The morning breakfast was still not sorted out, but with Mianmian sleeping like this, there was a good chance she could roll off the bed.
So, Su Chenfei carefully picked up Mianmian, planning to change her position.
Pretending to be asleep, Chu Ye knew his opportunity had come. He pretended to wake up groggily, sitting up with his hand still holding Mianmian’s.
His beautiful, budding phoenix eyes glanced at Su Chenfei, and in a cool, indifferent young voice he said, "Morning."
Su Chenfei completely ignored Chu Ye and simply placed Mianmian in the middle.
Seeing Chu Ye follow and sit down beside them, he thought for a moment and then quietly threatened, "Morning, stinky boy. I’m going to make breakfast. Don’t you do anything to my Little Auntie, understand?"
"Oh," replied Chu Ye, too lazy to talk to Su Chenfei, holding tighter to Mianmian’s hand.
It was still raining outside, the sounds relentless, showing no sign of stopping.
Su Chenfei left the room.
The crew had already set up the camera outside, politely asking, "Mr. Su, has the Little Auntie woken up? Can we start filming?"
"No!" Su Chenfei’s voice was low and full of anger, "You can’t go in to film, film me first."
The crew was puzzled: "Mr. Chu also said we can’t go in to film the little friend Chu Ye, what’s going on today?"
Su Chenfei smiled at the camera, "Nothing’s going on. Just film me first. I think the viewers would agree with that, right? My lovelies?"
He blinked and winked at the audience.
