Baby Serendipity: The Whole World Fell In Love With Me -
Chapter 615 - 614: Are all Easterners this capable?
Chapter 615: Chapter 614: Are all Easterners this capable?
The Death God didn’t say anything, and Hades along with Hypnos didn’t know either. They thought Death God Su Ri’an was injured, but he had actually triumphed.
So, seeing Mianmian so powerful in her dreams, they were very surprised.
"Are all Easterners this capable?" Hypnos hesitated, "Should we still try to kidnap her?"
Actually, what Hypnos meant was, they had already tried to kidnap Mianmian unsuccessfully. Now, taking advantage of Mianmian’s asleep to attack her and trying to kidnap her again seemed completely unnecessary.
She simply wasn’t afraid of them.
As the Lord of the Underworld, Hades said with a cold face, "The prophecy spoke of her."
The children from the East could give them strength through strange smoke, allowing them to wake from deep slumber. She was certainly capable of resolving the current predicament of the Underworld.
Hades didn’t want to let go. He had long wanted to make the Underworld as powerful as the heavens, to defeat Zeus. How could he give up such a good opportunity now?
If one method didn’t work, they would use another. Eventually, they would be able to take this little girl to the Underworld, right?
After a good sleep, Mianmian followed Charlie and visited all the fun places in America.
Then she realized that American amusement parks were different from those in Dragon Country. Many of the rides in the amusement parks of Dragon Country weren’t suitable for little friends like her.
"Why can Mianmian play with these things here, but not at home?"
Charlie smiled, "That’s regional differences for you, Little Auntie. Want to take a look?"
Mianmian nodded vigorously.
So Charlie took Mianmian to an American kindergarten.
They visited a random classroom that had only one teacher, and the children were all playing on their own. When a child needed to poop, they just went to the toilet without calling the teacher.
"Why didn’t he ask the teacher to take him to the toilet?" asked Mianmian.
Charlie said, "I don’t know if it’s just this city, but generally, children in kindergarten here aren’t so constrained."
This degree of freedom even extended to fighting. When two little friends fought, it was as if the teacher didn’t see it.
Mianmian thought to herself that if it were her class, the teacher would have intervened long ago if children fought like this. The kids fought until both got hurt and cried, then went to the teacher to complain.
But the teacher said, "Oh, you two chose to resolve the issue by fighting, so how can you expect me to sort it out now? You should figure it out yourselves, just like you decided to fight just now. Go on."
"By the way, if you really can’t resolve it, I can only tell your parents tonight that you fought today. You’re aware of that, right?"
"The teacher can choose not to tell the little friend’s parents?" Mianmian was surprised, "Indeed, every country is different. It’s so interesting. Mianmian wants to finish what she has to do and then visit various countries to see such things."
Seeing Mianmian interested in these things, Charlie continued to share what he knew about other countries: "Maoxiong country will even cheer them on to see who is stronger. Each country has its own way of education, yet each has its shining points."
Mianmian felt the same.
She thought her classmates and teachers were more caring. The teachers and children in this kindergarten seemed to be in different worlds.
After visiting the kindergarten, Mianmian waited for Su Chenyu in the hospital that afternoon.
She’d been sitting for a while when she overheard some nurses discussing, "Oh, I can’t believe Dean Parkin really went to jail. Who will be our next dean?"
"I don’t know, dear. These things don’t concern us. Let’s think about what to have for lunch instead. I fancy a burger, how about you?"
"Charlie, did the dean of this hospital go to jail? Why?" Mianmian asked.
Charlie chuckled, "Little Auntie, ask your grandnephew about that. It has something to do with him."
So when Su Chenyu arrived, Mianmian quietly asked him about it.
Su Chenyu didn’t deny it: "Hmm, it’s related to me. He took someone else’s money and switched the surgeon just before I was about to go into surgery. This has been spreading throughout the medical field. The patient who was put on my surgery table hadn’t signed the agreement with the hospital, which means his action infringed on many people’s rights. If he doesn’t go to jail, who will?"
Going to jail was the least of it.
Su Chenyu smiled.
He was never a good person, so he had also given the dean a little taste of the poison he concocted, an eye for an eye.
"I’ve been doing well these past couple of days. Your talisman was very effective," Su Chenyu said, assuring her there was no need to worry, "Maybe you should head back earlier. Your zoo and amusement park need you."
Mianmian thought so too. She had taken leave from kindergarten just to get the zoo running smoothly. If she didn’t hurry back, her leave would be over.
"Then Mianmian will go home tomorrow."
In the end, they scheduled her return for the next morning at 8 o’clock, flying back on Charlie’s private plane.
Charlie was reluctant to part with Mianmian, so he took her to visit his castle, allowing Mianmian to experience what it’s like to live like a foreign princess.
She even wore a beautiful poofy dress with little leather shoes on her feet. With its Western-style fluffiness and rounds underneath to make the skirt stand out more, when she spun around, it was just so pretty.
There was even a professional photographer in the castle who took photos just for her.
Charlie asked if he could post the photos on social media because he wanted to show off a bit, and Mianmian agreed.
Sharing photos among friends was no big deal. After all, everyone already knew she and Charlie were friends from when he participated in her Variety Show.
Mianmian also posted a photo with Charlie on Instagram, showing everyone what she was up to.
She had previously turned off her live-stream to go to America and had explained the reason to her fans. Now that she posted on Instagram, her fans knew that Mianmian had resolved everything. Not only had she resolved it, but she also had a great day abroad.
[Little Auntie, come back quickly. I’m dying without your live-stream while slacking off at work.]
[Auntie’s fans are craving for you, Charlie. You better return our Little Auntie soon, or I might come over and kidnap her!]
[The ones above are just selfish! I’m truly the one who loves Little Auntie the most, her dress is so lovely, and the photos are well taken. She looks just like a doll in that outfit.]
Mianmian, who received a bunch of compliments, was very happy. She looked at her photos contentedly, feeling that she was the cutest child in the world.
When her parents woke up, she thought how great it would be to show them these pictures!
Thinking of this, Mianmian took out a small porcelain bottle, and glanced at the water inside.
To her delight, she noticed that there was a little more water than before.
Tap tap—
Suddenly, Mianmian heard a knocking sound on the window.
She looked up and saw a black-haired, black-eyed little boy clinging to the window.
The little boy had a delicate face, with the standard features of a Westerner. His eyelashes were long and curled.
