Chapter 611: Chapter 610: Third Great-Grandson, Give Me a Hug.
Having already used magic on foreign soil once and seeing the incense smoke still rising straight up, Mianmian felt it wouldn’t be a problem to employ her magic again.
Her great-grandnephew was a healer, endowed with ample merits; it was intolerable that he was being framed so easily.
She had to make the perpetrator have nightmares, to let them know not to mess with her, Little Auntie!
Mianmian took out a little wooden figure and attached a piece of paper bearing the birthdate and hour of a Walton family member to it, along with some written spells.
Next, she transferred the streak of bad luck from her great-grandnephew, herself, and Charlie onto the wooden figure. With these charms, the target was sure to be cursed with misfortune.
As for the Lu Family members, she didn’t have their birth details.
But she could leave their comeuppance to her eldest grandnephew, who undoubtedly also wanted revenge for his cousin!
After Mianmian completed her series of actions, the postoperative conference of Su Chenyu had also come to an end.
When the bodyguard asked him to meet with Little Auntie, Su Chenyu thought he had heard wrong.
"Little Auntie? Are you saying that our family’s Little Auntie has also come to America?"
The bodyguard nodded repeatedly, confirming that it was the case.
Hurriedly checking the family WhatsApp group, Su Chenyu indeed saw messages from the family. They were all about the same thing, telling him to take good care of Little Auntie in America, saying she had foreseen his troubles and had come to protect him, and that he must be a dutiful younger family member in the future.
These messages quickly made Su Chenyu recall the problems he had encountered during surgery.
At first, he had thought the issue was unsolvable. It was a case not discussed beforehand and not set up using surgical software, so it had to rely on clinical responses during the procedure, which was truly difficult.
The patient’s condition wasn’t great, and their heart rate had even fluctuated.
But then, as if by divine assistance, he felt an unusual clarity and managed to complete the surgery, and the patient’s condition miraculously improved, surviving the duration of the operation.
It turned out that it wasn’t divine help that had seen him through; it was his family’s Little Auntie!
Su Chenyu felt elated. After instructing the Su Family bodyguards to watch over the intensive care ward, he quickly followed the bodyguard to find Mianmian in the warehouse.
Mianmian raised her small hand: "Great-grandnephew, hug."
Su Chenyu picked up Mianmian and whispered, "Thank you."
If Little Auntie hadn’t come and the operation had failed, resulting in the patient’s death followed by his poisoning by ill-intentioned people, dying in a foreign land, how tragic his life would have been?
So, after expressing his thanks, Su Chenyu added with a smile, "Great-grandnephew will take good care of you."
Mianmian: "It’s nothing, this is what Little Auntie should do. As long as you do well in the future, Little Auntie will be even happier."
The heartfelt embrace between grandaunt and great-grandnephew was genuine, but meanwhile, Charlie, looking at his mobile phone screen, suddenly laughed out loud, tears streaming down his face.
In a strange Dragon Kingdom Language accent, he said, "Little Auntie, the magic worked, it really worked. Look at him, such bad luck!"
Su Chenyu holding Mianmian, leaned towards the computer.
On the computer screen, a middle-aged man in a suit and leather shoes was suddenly being escorted out by bodyguards. A swarm of reporters followed behind him, asking embarrassing questions, "Mr. Little Walton, you had an accident at the press conference—is it really because you were gay when you were young and can’t control yourself now that you’re older?"
"Mr. Little Walton, your press conference ended due to the noises you were making—how do you feel about that?"
The man, chased by reporters with their inquiries, tried to escape by getting into a car.
Yet, to his dismay, the car’s tire burst with a loud pop.
With the car unusable and surrounded by people, the man known in his family as "Mr. Little Walton," Bob Walton, had an extremely unpleasant expression.
He laughed awkwardly while losing control and wetting his pants further, dropping more incriminating evidence from his trouser leg, and said, "I just had a bad stomach, how could your questions be possible? When I was young, I was gay, but I was the top, so how could I get sick for this reason? Which media outlet do you work for, asking this question—do you have a problem with our Walton company?"
But no matter how he explained, the scene was in chaos, and there was no saving his dignity.
In front of the Walton patriarch, who valued face above all else, his status as heir was likely in jeopardy.
But why?
Bob couldn’t understand.
For today’s press release, he had been extremely cautious. He paid special attention to food and his nightlife, ensuring nothing would go wrong.
During the first half of the press release, he felt particularly good, but during the second half... suddenly... even the car broke down.
Why was he so unlucky?
"Look, he’s definitely wondering what happened." Charlie was overjoyed, the handsome blond, blue-eyed man reveling in his rival’s embarrassment, no longer the composed American tycoon he usually was, "Hahaha, I love it, Little Auntie, your move was very good!! I have to post it in our company group so everyone can see."
As he spoke, Charlie opened the company group.
Mianmian caught sight of the name of the company group: Little Auntie’s Number One Fan in America.
Su Chenyu saw it too and looked at Charlie, "Isn’t your company group name a bit too frivolous?"
"Frivolous? What’s that? A play for children?" Charlie asked earnestly with his curious blue eyes, genuinely inquiring about the meaning of Su Chenyu’s phrase.
Having not finished learning Dragon language, he found many phrases in Dragon Kingdom Language to vary greatly with context.
It was too complex for him, even more so than math.
"Frivolous means joking around," Su Chenyu pointed at the company group name. "Isn’t this group name pretty much a joke?"
Charlie laughed heartily, "How is it a joke? The staff in our company really are fans of Little Auntie—look."
He clicked into the group.
Unlike the WhatsApp groups in Dragon Country, this was an American office software native to the group. The software had avatars, and everyone’s avatar seemed to have some connection to Mianmian. The most commonly used one was from the zombie drama Mianmian starred in, wearing a red padded jacket.
Su Chenyu: You guys certainly know how to choose avatars.
Charlie opened the group and posted the video clip he had just captured: "Come and see, a member of the Walton family has had some bad luck."
Everyone popped up in quick succession, indicating they had seen Bob’s misfortune and were applauding it.
Then Charlie suddenly said, "I’m with Little Auntie right now."
In the group, everyone started posting Mianmian’s emojis, all with her eyes wide open in shock.
Mianmian covered her eyes.
She knew people liked to use her as an emoji, but seeing it firsthand was still embarrassing. Especially in a flood like this, so many of her faces, all with the same expression.
