Chapter 454 - 454 118 Gentle Slaughter Unrestrained Two in

Chapter 454: Chapter 118: Gentle Slaughter, Unrestrained [Two in One] Chapter 454: Chapter 118: Gentle Slaughter, Unrestrained [Two in One] Feng Yin turned a deaf ear, his eyes locked intensively onto his two opponents as he quietly said, “I don’t hold back when I fight. Allow me to advise you both- in life, there are only two paths. One leads to life, the other leads to death.”

“Those who insist on walking into the blade seek their own demise.”

Feng Yin looked at them coldly, “You both are not young anymore, yet you don’t understand this simple truth. We are all children of our parents. Living to your age is not easy. Why take a wrong step and choose the path of death and darkness?”

“I advise you both to think it through. Death is absolute and there’s no turning back in the underworld.”

“We’re all drifters in this world, why block each other’s path and cause unnecessary troubles?”

Despite his unbashful demeanor, Feng Yin’s words were a mix of crudeness and wisdom, carrying an indomitable aura that was both forthright and intimidating.

The two men on the opposing side started to bristle with uncertainty, “May we ask your honorable name?”

Feng Yin cast his eyes down to the blade in his hand, and said indifferently, “Life and death, it’s but a cycle; people coming and going have different aliases. Those who come are called human, and those who leave are known as ghosts.”

“The only difference between the two is that every living person will eventually become a ghost. Why does it matter what name this fleeting shell carries in this mundane world?”

One of them took a deep breath, slowly drawing his sword.

“Wen Shumo, do you think I can’t see through you? Naive! Do you think you can disguise yourself by plagiarizing those meaningless lines from Wen Shumo of the Yan State? Do you think with those words you can conceal your true identity?”

Feng Yin broke into a laugh, “Well said, it seems like you gentlemen are looking for someone named Wen Shumo?”

The two stared back fiercely, “And what if we are?”

Feng Yin’s face twisted into a cruel smile, “What a coincidence, I am Wen Shumo! Since you came to find me, enough with the talking, just come at me!”

Before his words could even finish, the blade had already been drawn, his expression deadly.

Pointing the blade forward, Feng Yin growled, “I am that Wen Shumo you speak of. I gave you a chance to live, you insist on digging your own grave, then come face your death!”

The two could instantly sense a surge of domineering aura rise high into the sky, it was as if he was the one true emperor, whoever follows him shall prosper, those who don’t, shall perish. They coulnd’t help but admire his intimidating presence.

The one on the left felt a surge of fear and turned to the one on the right, “Is… is this really Wen Shumo?”

The one on the right was also taken aback, struggling to make a decision, “It should… be… I guess?”

However, Feng Yin on the other side was out of patience and didn’t want to wait for their nonsense. He thrust forward with a weapon in his hand and a face full of majestic battle spirit, crying out, “What is there to discuss! I am Wen Shumo! Wen Shumo is me! You’ve intercepted Wen Shumo! Let’s battle! Stop dithering!”

With a deafening boom, his concentrated Blade Qi exploded!

It was the Overlord Sword Technique that was being exhibited for the first time!

With the Overlord sword in his hand, all under heaven became his subjects! They must bow before him!

When my sword strikes, it’s the imperial decree and divine grace. I dictate life and death, no one dares to disobey!

The aura of his sword was brilliant and radiant. He launched a vehement attack that instantly swept the two opponents into the wild sword wind.

Confronted with imminent death, the two unsheathed their swords almost simultaneously to defend themselves. The brilliance of their swords indicated that they were not weak opponents at all.

Then with a loud crash, their swords collided with Feng Yin’s blade, sparks were flying all over the place.

Once Feng Yin made a move, he did so with all his might. He wanted to test the results of his recent training with this battle.

Most importantly, he had identified that both men were Earth-Level practitioners, and their cultivation level seemed quite high.

If he didn’t give his all and held something back, he would probably be signing his own death warrant. The result would indeed be more disastrous than promising.

The clashing of their property-imbued weapons unfurled the endless domineering aura unique to the Overlord Sword Technique.

A feeling of imperial dignity and supremacy in all directions suddenly hit them in the face.

The three fighters were simultaneously shaken and forced to retreat.

One of the two opponents exclaimed, “Earth Level? How is that possible?”

The other chimed in, “Earth Level, and it’s beyond the ninth grade… Did we mistake him for somebody else?”

On the other side, Feng Yin brandished his sword and charged, laughing manically, “What mistaken identity! I am the Wen Shumo you are looking for. Stand still, taste my sword!”

“Maniac!”

The two opponents cursed in sync and leapt up simultaneously, quickly retreating left and right, respectively.

It was well known that Wen Shumo only had the Eighth-grade Human Level cultivation base.

This was an indisputable fact.

If the person in question was already at the Earth Level, it meant that he’s clearly not Wen Shumo, then there’s no point in continuing the fight.

Moreover, it’s highly probable that this person was part of the Qin Country contingent guarding Wen Shumo, who purposely drew the fighting forces targeting Wen Shumo by claiming to be Wen Shumo.

This person’s sword technique was wild and his actions were wildly unpredictable. He resorted to aggression at the drop of a hat and was not someone to trifle with. It would be a grave injustice if trouble was caused with this maniac without even encountering the real target.

What’s worse, these two had already calculated in their hearts, with the strength of the maniac on the other side, it was impossible to capture him without one of them being severely injured.

However…

If that person was not their target, paying such a high price would make them fools who ended up on the losing end!

Therefore, these two immediately escaped once they reached an agreement.

Behind them, Feng Yin’s loud shout was filled with anger, “Don’t run away! Do you ambush people and then run away when it’s time to fight? I am that Wen Shumo you are trying to find. What’s the hurry?”
