Chapter 367 - 367 81 Destiny【Two-in-One】

Chapter 367: Chapter 81: Destiny【Two-in-One】 Chapter 367: Chapter 81: Destiny【Two-in-One】 The Xu brothers were thrown to the ground, feeling their chest tighten, almost throwing up blood, and were filled with desperation.

They couldn’t believe it. They had just stumbled upon a miracle but didn’t even have time to make a name for themselves in the world. They hadn’t gotten to adventure with Physician Feng or become great heroes…

But instead, they were about to become bird shit.

How tragic it was to die before their ambitions could be realized. What a pity.

“I’m so angry…” Xu the Third exclaimed with resentment, slamming his hand on the snow-covered ground.

“I’m also angry…” Xu the Fourth regretfully said, “I didn’t even get a chance to find a wife.”

The two brothers had given up hope.

They closed their eyes, awaiting their impending doom.

However, suddenly, the giant bird landed in front of them. Its two huge claws were right before their eyes.

Even just one of its toes, with the sharp nail attached, was almost as thick as their arms.

The moment they opened their eyes and saw it, they promptly shut them again.

It was too terrifying!

Just by looking at its talons, they could tell: this bird could swallow them whole without flinching.

But as soon as they closed their eyes, they opened them again.

Because, did they see something?

They took a better look.

In front of them, there were, incredibly, a pair of… human feet?

They looked up and saw a stern-faced man with a hawk-like nose, eyes fiercely dazzling and clad in black clothes, wearing a shiny golden crown on his head.

He looked down at them coldly, as if gazing at two disgusting maggots.

He was struggling to resist the urge to squash these two pests under his feet.

“Are you two here to participate in the training camp?” The man in black’s voice was like the sound of metal clashing.

Training camp?

What was that?

The Xu brothers were completely bewildered, “Huh? Huh huh…?”

The man in black snapped, “Then why aren’t you taking your training seriously, instead, hurting my citizens by coming here?”

“We… we got lost…”

Xu the Fourth mumbled, “Your majesty, please spare our lives… We got lost, and then accidentally stepped on a trap… Falling off a cliff…”

“We landed in a crow’s nest by accident…”

He continued while anxiously watching the man in black.

If something seemed off, he would promptly shut up.

But seeing the black-clad man’s face turned ashen, with no other reactions, he felt a wave of relief.

The man in black felt like he had swallowed a mouthful of excrement.

You fucking fell off a cliff by accident and ended up in a crow’s nest? So, you’re saying you’re not at fault and are implying it’s the fault of my minions’ fate to be so?

What the hell… Where does one start reasoning with that?

The Heavenly Judgment had not activated, just appearing as a brownish badge.

The man in black was utterly clueless about what was happening.

Reminded of the agreement, and what was making him most uncomfortable… There was a clause about using all the demons in Black Crow Valley for training purposes.

There would certainly be massive casualties.

In that case, killing a nest of normal crows that have not undergone demon transformation doesn’t seem like a significant issue?

Unable to control his anger, he roared: “Get your asses to your training camp! Stop roaming around aimlessly!”

Xu the Third pleaded pitifully: “Your Majesty, your humble servants really have no idea where to go…”

The man in black was outraged: “What a waste, you could get lost whilst travelling the world!”

He thought for a moment. The Black Crow Valley was still under lockdown, and likely these two would be unable to find their way out on their own.

This realization made him even more frustrated.

Was he meant to escort them there?

The Black Crow King, who was more accustomed to acting without much thought, was even more exasperated in the wake of this realization.

Hence, he transformed into a colossal black crow.

With two claws, he grabbed the Xu brothers and rose into the air.

He flew directly out of the restrictions of Black Crow Valley and descended upon Wutong Mountain.

He randomly chose a group of instructors, and loosening his claws, dropped the two high up from the air.

Leaving behind an angry remark.

“Take care of your recruits! This is an exception!”

“I want to see whether these two can survive the fight to the death in Black Crow Valley!”

With a flick of his giant wing.

He flew back home, huffing and puffing with annoyance.

The group below was Group Seven.

When suddenly two people were dropped from the sky, all ten instructors were dumbfounded.

What’s going on?

Are people falling from the sky now?

Then they heard the Black Crow King’s words and they understood, but still not entirely: what exactly was going on?

They quickly revived the two unconscious brothers and checked their cultivation.

All the instructors were stunned: Innate? And even at the middle level?

What the hell…

How could their cultivation be so low?

The instructors were clueless, if the Xu brothers had not been encountered the miracle and hadn’t undergone secluded cultivation, they should at most be near the Innate level.

But that miracle, combined with the full activation by Feng Yin, caused a change in their root bones.

That allowed them to train diligently during the miracle, causing their cultivation to soar. To be honest, they had already progressed very quickly!

From a bystander’s point of view, their speed was almost akin to cheating!

Then they began questioning them.

Upon asking, they left the instructors dumbfounded.

“You guys are Heavenly Judge assassins? What rank?”

They took out the Heavenly Judgment for a look.

All instructors were stupefied.

“Iron Rank?!”

What the hell!

This is Gold Rank training, how did two Iron Ranks make their way in?

The disparity was just too great!

Iron Rank, Bronze Badge, Silver Rank, Gold Rank…

“What exactly is going on?”

Surrounded by so many powerful beings all at once, the Xu brothers nearly wet themselves.

They were interrogated while trembling with fear.

They spilled everything, like pouring beans from a bamboo tube, explaining every detail of their journey.
