Ascension of the Sylvan Cosmos.
Chapter 442. [Tempest Of Chaos]. Teaching the Younger Generation a Lesson in Respect.

Liu Shu snuggled in Tempestria’s arms, hugging her like a koala while burying her face in her neck and acting spoiled. Meanwhile, Tempestria was lying on the bed with lethargy, looking at the ceiling with a blank gaze. ‘... What just happened? I was clearly the one leading the intercourse. When did I end up below her? Why do I feel as if my soul has been drained?’

As she pondered, she saw Liu Shu lift her upper body while looking down at her with hungry eyes. Tempestria’s body flinched. “Tempestria… Again~?”

The sultry words of the woman seducing her with her body would’ve made anyone’s blood rush. Sadly, Tempestria felt as if she had no more blood to move. She smiled awkwardly and answered. “Um… Love. I am already at my… No, beyond my limit. I don’t think I can do it anymore for today.”

Liu Shu’s blushing and seductive face froze slightly, and she lowered her face, biting Tempestria’s cheek, licking it after, while squinting her eyes. “But… I want more of my delicious Sylvan~.”

Tempestria sweated coldly. ‘One-on-ones will be pretty tricky with this girl. I guess we’ll have to combine strengths…’ She felt a bit awkward still. After all, in terms of real intimacy, it happened out of sight. And, as the ancients said, “Out of sight, out of mind.”

“Sorry, love. I really can’t. Even if I wanted to, it just won’t get up.”

Liu Shu blinked and pouted, lowering herself and playing in that area. “Come on~, wake up, little branch~. You look wilted, and I have the best place for you to gain nutrients and become as straight as a pine tree!”

Tempestria lay back, sprawling herself. She knew quite well that nothing would happen; her energy was depleted to the point that she wanted to fall asleep. Instead, she busied herself with the system messages that were appearing in her eyes.

[Congratulations. You’ve unlocked <Hidden Title: Tempest Of Chaos>!]

[Congratulations. You’ve unlocked <Hidden Title: Chaos Tempest Soul>!]

<Chaos Tempest Soul>: A hint of your true self has finally awakened. You, who represent the Tempestuous nature of <@#&%!@$^ @%!~^%#&@>, have an increased Wind Affinity of 500%. Your <Tier> will also improve each time you complete a new <Energy Cycle> or <Evolution>. Your stats are increased by 20%, which will increase as your <Tier> increases (Currently C Tier). Moreover, you have discovered the dormant element within you, <Chaos Tempest>. Additionally, your fertility when trying to impregnate <Tianlian Liu Shu> has become guaranteed. New effects might unlock as you become closer to <@#&%!@$^ @%!~^%#&@>. (Note: This title will remain in effect for as long as your love for <Tianlian Liu Shu> remains strong and loyal.)

Looking at the contents of <Chaos Tempest Soul>, Tempestria finally understood why Verdantia and Harmonixia had suddenly become so powerful. “... What a ridiculous title.”

Tempestria was truly baffled. The title covered everything that made her who she was. Moreover, there was something extra within it. “<Chaos Tempest>? What’s that?”

She was still too weak to use whatever that thing was. Moreover, there was something that she couldn’t even read! However, she was not sad. With this title, Tempestria was easily confident in growing past the <Third Energy Cycle>. Catching up to Verdantia’s and Harmonixia’s strength would also be no problem.

“Hmph.”

Tempetria felt the air expelled by Liu Shu’s huffing sound, and she looked down. She saw Liu Shu looking up at her with an aggravated expression. “Why are you ignoring me when I am here? Silly Tempestria!”

Tempestria panicked a bit and quickly brought up the cushy and pliant body of her World Tree. Hugging her tightly, Tempestria coaxed the beautiful girl. “Sorry, love. I was overwhelmed by the new title I got. So, I became distracted.” She added with a chuckle, kissing Liu Shu’s mouth. “Moreover, love. Even if you want to do anything else, I’ve told you that it is impossible. It’s not that I can’t produce more, but that you’ve sucked my vitality to the point that I can’t get excited anymore until I have a good day of rest.”

Liu Shu pouted. “Not my fault! Who told you to be so delicious! If I didn’t hold back, I would’ve sucked your <Phoer>!”

Tempestria began sweating coldly again. ‘I think I understand a little why she has given birth to an Alraune and Farlune… She is quite the hungry plant herself. Were willows always so… active?”

As Tempestria pondered, she felt something poking her between her thighs, making her jump. “H-Huh? S-Shu’er!?”

Liu Shu’s eyes glinted mischievously. “Harmonixia and Verdantia managed to escape before I could react because I was too distracted by the new titles. However, you will not be as lucky~. My lovers have a bit more than their long, thick, and delicious branches~. They also have sweet honeypots that leak delicious and sticky sap~.”

Tempestria’s eyes widened, and before she could complain, a high-pitched moan exploded from her mouth. The poor Sylvan fainted not long after, utterly drained of all her fluids.

Meanwhile, outside, another hurricane of chaos swept the land when Liu Shu’s main body surged with aura and filled the land with tempestuous but harmless winds. Once those events ended, a resonance occurred, and all the new titles changed.

[Congratulations! You are now being affected by <Tempest Of Chaos>!]

[<Tempest Of Chaos> resonates with <Sprouts Of Chaos>.]

[<Tempest Of Chaos> resonates with <Songs Of Chaos>.]

<Tempest of Chaos>: All Wind-related attacks deal 27% less damage to you. Any Wind-attributed life form under your influence gains a 150% increase in Wind Affinity. All beings under your domain gain an extra 30% movement speed, 15% Damage Rate, and their basic attributes increase by 6%. Wind-attributed skills up to A Rank are 15% cheaper to upgrade.

<Songs Of Chaos>: You gain a buff when listening to the sounds of nature or being near the World Tree’s domain. Anima and Aether regeneration is increased by 300%. All elemental energies and soul energy are much tamer around you, making it easier to cast spells up to <A Tier>. All life forms under its influence gain 15% Aether and Anima comprehension rate, have 15% more Aether Mana and Anima Energy, have their spell cost reduced by 15%, and have their basic attributes increased by 6%.

<Sprouts of Chaos>: Phoer regeneration is increased by 300% to all plant life. You can summon plant-based lifeforms that rank higher than the summoning skill until <A Tier>. All life forms under your influence age 15% slower, have 15% more Phoer, and have their basic attributes increased by 6%. All plant life under your influence gains Experience Points 75% faster (Until the World Tree’s Level). The World Tree will gain an additional 0.15% Experience of what the plant-attributed creatures gain (Maximum: Level*2.5 daily).

The attributes, if listed, would look like this:

+18% <Stats> / +15% <Phoer>, <Aether Mana>, and <Anima Energy> / +300% Regeneration for <Phoer> (Plant Life), <Aether Mana>, and <Anima Energy> / +30% <Movement Speed> / +75% <Experience Points> (Until the World Tree’s Level) / +15% <Damage> / -15% <Spell Cost> / +15% <Comprehension Rate>.

Then, a few other odd bonuses that didn’t apply to everyone. Even then, to call them ridiculous was an understatement. As the <Titles> stacked together and resonated together, those effects became even more egregious. Moreover, this was an unconditional buff. So, at any point in time, they could allow their bodies to be affected by the <Titles> and become several times stronger. At least, as long as they were inside Liu Shu’s domain, that was the case.

Moreover, they still had the <Temple Of Destiny>, <Temple Of Craft>, and <Temple Of Summoning> effects affecting them, plus a few other <Titles> like <Defender>, <Gratitude>, etc.

Galia looked at the System Messages, and her calm face cracked. She was reading through the messages slowly, taking in all the buffs. Then, she looked at her System page, and she almost fainted. “W-What are these numbers!? Why are they so much bigger when I’ve done nothing?”

Honestly, she didn’t know what to say. It was true that Celestial Lotus also had some ridiculous domain-wide <Titles>. Nevertheless, Celestial Lotus was a super powerful <Fourth Energy Cycle> powerhouse! If she didn’t have those titles, her domain would’ve been conquered many millennia ago!

Galia looked to the side and saw Flor sipping tea from her cup. ‘She is so calm… not?’

Flor’s hand holding the teacup trembled as she downed all the contents of the tea. She smiled, her eyes like those of a dead fish. “Ah… Such a wonderful evening.”

Galia looked outside at the cloudy and grey sky, and her lips twitched. “I-Indeed. It is a beautiful day.”

“Right,” Flor commented, noisily filling up her teacup again. The glock, glock, glock of the liquid pouring down filled the silent room. After all, no one dared speak at this moment, lest the Flower Fairy snap at them. “The tea today is also good. It’s a shame that it is gone with one or two sips.”

Galia observed how the tiny body of the Flower Fairy downed another teacup as if she were a person who had not had a drink for a week, and her eyelids trembled. ‘Being Liu Shu’s mother figure must be quite… stressful.’

BANG!

The doors opened loudly, and a person Galia knew by sight entered inside with a frown. “What’s the meaning of this, Flor? Can you at least warn me when Lady Liu Shu is going to do something like this!? Now the entire <Explorer Association> is in chaos!”

Galia was baffled. ‘Such an entitled person! Was his name… Adam?’ Feeling a bit angered, she wanted to answer for Flor’s sake. But when she looked at the Flower Fairy, all her words got stuck in her throat. ‘M-Mommy, she looks too scary!’

The Flower Fairy’s ruby-like eyes slowly moved as her neck creaked like a wooden door that needed oiling. “Ha?”

A single questioning sound enveloped the entire room in an intensely chilling atmosphere. Even Adam, who had come with quite a lot of momentum, felt as if a basin of cold water had fallen over him. Flor’s red eyes didn’t show even a hint of mirth as she answered. “Adam, we have not chatted much in the past, so I’ll be clear this time around. That way, you won’t be confused and misunderstand things in the future.”

Her tone was calm, but everyone with a bit of brain could hear the anger boiling below those words. The Flower Fairy stood up and flapped her transparent pink fairy wings, floating up gently and hovering in front of Adam. She then stated. “First of all, I’ve been treating you with respect, not because I fear you or the <Explorer Association>. It’s out of respect for your predecessor, Wert.”

Adam had really not expected the Flower Fairy to become like this. He just wanted a small explanation. However, as the general manager of a large branch of the <Explorer Association>, he didn’t want to appear weak even in front of the rulers of the place. After all, no one really dared mess with the <Explorer Association>, not even the <Abyssal Void Nexus>.

Flor poked his chest twice quite firmly while looking up at him with a faint smile. “Secondly. This is my daughter, Liu Shu’s, domain. She is the owner of this place, and if she wanted to, she could even slaughter each and every single lifeform living within it. No one has the right to protest when she is the protector and guardian deity of this place. Of course, Liu Shu is a very gentle World Tree. Her tenderness is felt by all, which is why everyone lives with peace of mind even when an existence as powerful as hers dominates the lands.”

Flor placed her hand against Adam’s chest and didn’t even let him speak. “Thirdly… I am not someone you can shout at as if I were your servant. Go back, reflect, and then come back with a proper excuse, tone, and attitude. For now, I don’t even want to hear your voice. <Wind Blast>.”

BOOM!

Adam flew out of the room, slamming against the wall outside, while the gale following behind him closed the doors with a loud bang!

Flor snorted and flew back, her face showing a hint of relaxation after she sat back down and took her trusty teacup. “Ah… Letting out steam feels so nice.”

Gulping sounds were quite easily heard all around the room. ‘Lady Flor is quite terrifying when she is stressed.’
