As a Fisherman, My Fish Can Level Up -
Chapter 592 - 363
Chapter 592: Chapter 363
"Sabaleta, do you have any decent used RVs around here with ample space and comfort?"
After five days in Argentina, Chu Mingcheng and Jiang Luoluo, who had been staying indoors, had started to adapt to the local culture and decided to go out.
Since they were here and had more than a month before they could return, they definitely wanted to explore.
There were many must-visit places in Argentina, and they could have visited most of them by plane.
Unfortunately, Jiang Luoluo was pregnant and couldn’t fly, so Chu Mingcheng had no choice but to buy a used RV to take her out for fun.
They might not have enough time to visit many places, but even visiting one place was better than staying at home all the time.
As for the capital’s beauty, Chu Mingcheng planned to explore it when his family came over.
Sabaleta was a used-car dealer who had previously sold him a pickup truck. He was a local gentleman, and at first glance, one would not have guessed he was a businessman; he seemed more like a nobleman.
He naturally had a source for used RVs, and upon hearing this, Chu Mingcheng invited him to lunch.
Building a rapport would ideally make it easier to resell the RV to him later, hoping for a gentler price drop.
Nobleman or gentleman aside, it did not prevent him from fleecing some foreign customers.
Of course, getting fleeced was secondary; Chu Mingcheng’s main goal was to inquire about local fishing policies and interesting fish species on the route to Iguazu Park.
Sabaleta, hearing his interest in fishing, showed a sudden spark of interest.
"Chu, do you like fishing too?"
This question brightened Chu Mingcheng’s eyes, "Of course, I am a professional fisherman. I drove a sailboat from my hometown all the way to Antarctica, and from Antarctica to here."
"But unexpectedly, my wife got pregnant, so I had to end this journey."
"Perhaps one day, I will continue the unfinished journey with my child."
"Cool, that’s a really great experience!" Sabaleta looked more enthusiastic than before.
Perhaps fishing was also one of his interests; they then discussed a lot about fishing, and Chu Mingcheng learned about various fishing restrictions in different provinces from him.
Getting a fishing license was actually quite simple; it could be done online by paying a fee.
But in many parts of Argentina, there were protected fish species that could only be fished during specific times.
Even with a fishing license for recreational fishing, fishing during prohibited times could lead to fines.
The lunch ended in a pleasant atmosphere, and Chu Mingcheng drove back in a rather luxurious used RV.
Of course, before returning home, he bought all the daily necessities required for the RV trip.
After a day of preparation, Chu Mingcheng set off with Jiang Luoluo.
Both of them had obtained fishing licenses, including recreational fishing gear.
The gear they had brought from the sailboat was for sea fishing.
This time, Chu Mingcheng was going to Rosario, Messi’s hometown, to fish for a type of piranha said to be tasty, and needed to buy more fishing gear.
Originally, traveling from Buenos Aires Province to Iguazu Park would not have included a stop in Messi’s native San Fei Province; he would only have needed to pass through two smaller provinces.
However, after Sabaleta’s recommendation, he decided to spend an extra two days.
The main reason being that San Fei Province was right next to the other two provinces he would pass through, so the detour wasn’t that far off.
Jiang Luoluo had no objections. After all, to her, where wasn’t a place to have fun?
Moreover, the RV was much more comfortable than the ship, and after all, humans were land creatures.
Setting the GPS, when he saw the journey was just four and a half hours, Chu Mingcheng blinked, almost thinking he had read it incorrectly.
The distance was quite close indeed!
But considering that the two provinces were connected, the travel time seemed reasonable.
Jiang Luoluo sat in the passenger seat, enjoying the roadside scenery.
At noon, they arrived in Rosario. They found a place to have lunch in the city, sat in a café for a while, enjoyed some local desserts, then continued their journey.
The fishing spot was quite remote, and soon the scenery on both sides became increasingly desolate, with large expanses of green wild grass everywhere.
Continuing to drive along the road for another half hour, they reached a lake, their destination for this trip.
Chu Mingcheng drove the RV through the grass because there were obvious tire tracks, indicating that many vehicles had driven this way towards the lake.
Once they arrived at a clearing by the lake, they discovered other people were already fishing there.
It seemed the abundant piranhas had caught the attention of many fishermen, all flocking to harvest them.
"Luoluo, do you want to fish too?" Chu Mingcheng asked after parking the car.
Jiang Luoluo thought for a moment and then shook her head, "No, I’ll just read and listen to music on the side!"
It was unclear if it was the influence of the child, but she had become increasingly lazy lately, preferring to sit quietly, provided Chu Mingcheng was right beside her.
It made him increasingly feel the illusion that his wife, although not clinging to him, was almost always by his side.
Though their previous sailing trip had also been spent together, it had never given him this feeling.
But since she wanted to read, Chu Mingcheng naturally made it comfortable for her.
He took a large parasol from the car and set it up on the open ground, then carried over a folding lounge chair and a small round table.
