Chapter 373: Giant Snowman

Until the end, Murong had already stopped enjoying the snowball fight.

"I’m quitting, I’m quitting. I’m not playing snowball fight anymore. I’m going to build a snowman, Galaxy, please spare me," Murong pleaded with Su Yinhe.

"Ah, why are you giving up so soon?" Su Yinhe despised him.

"No choice, I’m a useless man," Murong admitted straightforwardly.

Su Yinhe: "..."

Really, he admitted it without a single hesitation.

"Alright, alright, then you... go play something else." Su Yinhe actually hadn’t had enough, and she had just started to enjoy it.

But Murong couldn’t continue.

However, she couldn’t always keep pestering him; let it be.

Su Yinhe decided to head back to the supermarket.

She might as well rest.

"I can play with you," Chi Yan noticed she wasn’t fully satisfied.

Although he didn’t like this kind of game, if Galaxy wanted to play, he would definitely accompany her.

"Ah? No need," Su Yinhe tiptoed and touched his face. Due to making snowballs, her fingers were very cold, which Chi Yan felt, but he didn’t dodge.

"Sweetheart, I really can’t bear to hit you." After saying this, Su Yinhe was ready to pull him back to the supermarket.

She knew he didn’t like it.

"It’s okay, as long as you’re happy."

"No way, hitting you wouldn’t make me happy, hitting Murong is much more fun," Su Yinhe shook her head and refused.

Murong, who was listening nearby: "???"

It’s not like that. If you two are showing off, why involve him?

Is he some kind of cheap person?

"Don’t you think you’re being too much?" Murong posed a soul-searching question.

"Not really. You have fun, we’ll go back first."

Murong: "..."

Why? Why did he feel such a deep sense of powerlessness?

They left, leaving Murong alone.

They entered the supermarket, and Murong looked at the snowball he had just made, feeling a bit angry.

It’s not right, he hadn’t hit them even once.

Damn it.

They had hit him and then run off.

He didn’t even have a chance for revenge.

Murong felt very upset.

Upset, Murong decided to build a snowman to alleviate his mood.

He wanted to build a cute snowman.

After deciding, Murong started to build.

To build a snowman, first, make a snowball.

Murong began rolling a snowball.

At first, it was just a very small snowball in his hands, but as he rolled, it got bigger and bigger.

Eventually, it got so big that it scared Murong a bit.

It was still movable, but...

It was a tad too big, it felt oppressive just looking at it.

Then, a problem arose.

The body of the snowman was too big, the head became an issue.

If he made the head too big as well, he wouldn’t be able to mount it.

If it were too small...

That would look weird.

Murong got a bit frantic.

He couldn’t possibly just roll another snowball.

He had been rolling for so long, he was sweating.

Though he wasn’t sure if the sweat was from the snowball fight or from rolling the snowball.

After thinking for a while, Murong still used this big snowball.

No choice, he had to make the head of the snowman a bit smaller.

Murong made the head of the snowman smaller, but it was still hard to mount, as the body was too large and too high, taller than three of him.

He didn’t want to leave any marks on the body of the snowman.

Finally, it took a Herculean effort, but he finally managed to mount the head of the snowman.

But...

It was so ugly.

Murong looked at the huge snowman he’d built and felt a bit repulsed.

Too ugly.

A huge, ugly snowman.

Sigh.

But, it’s one I made myself, so I can’t reject it.

Murong began to examine it closely, trying hard to find something attractive about it.

Trying to make this huge snowman look appealing, the result was that no matter how he looked at it, it still wasn’t appealing.

Ugly, really ugly.

Could it be because it has no decorations?

While feeling disgusted, Murong suddenly remembered.

The snowman now is made of two snowballs without any decorations, of course it’s ugly.

He needed some decorations; maybe that would make it less ugly.

With that thought, Murong ran back to the supermarket like the wind, grabbed a bunch of stuff, and ran back to decorate the snowman.

Murong decorated very seriously, eyes, nose, mouth, buttons, hands, hat, scarf... even blush, he put on everything he could think of.

The snowman was so big that decorating it took quite an effort.

The outcome was...

Even uglier.

Uglier than the two bare snowballs before.

Murong looked at this newly fashioned ugly snowman and fell into deep thought.

What did he exhaust himself for in the end?

Ugly, really too ugly.

So ugly that he couldn’t bear to look anymore.

Finally, Murong gave it one last look and then sighed, taking the remaining stuff back to the supermarket.

"Hey? Weren’t you building a snowman? Back so soon? Not making a few more?" Su Yinhe was quite surprised to see him return so quickly.

"I’m not making anymore, it’s too ugly." Murong’s face was all scrunched up.

He really despised it.

Su Yinhe could see his disappointment and sadness, and patted him on the arm.

"Hey, don’t worry, it actually looks pretty good."

"Really?" Murong stared at her intently.

"Yeah," Su Yinhe nodded.

"Then can you stop trying to hold back your laughter when you say that?"

Su Yinhe: "..."

"Pfft, hahaha... Sorry, hahaha... Actually... it is really cute. Ugly-cute hahaha..." Su Yinhe couldn’t hold back anymore and burst out laughing, bent over with laughter.

Murong: "..."

He just knew it, he just knew.

Hmph.

Liar.

Murong felt gloomy and didn’t want to talk to her anymore.

"Come on, don’t overthink it, it’s just one ugly one. You can try making a few more, maybe the next ones won’t be ugly?"

"What if... they’re uglier?"

"Then... then that would make this one look not so ugly," Su Yinhe hesitated for two seconds before speaking.

Murong: "..."

That sounds logical, yet ridiculous.

"I don’t want to talk to you anymore. Galaxy, please leave. Just let me be alone. And don’t ask who ’alone’ is." Murong sat down and hugged himself.

Right now, he just wanted to be alone.

"Um... so who is ’alone’?"

Murong: "..."

"Hahaha, just kidding." Seeing Murong like this, Su Yinhe couldn’t help herself.

Murong glared at her with resentment.

"Galaxy, remember to sleep with your eyes open tonight." He was afraid his resentment was too strong, and he might climb through her window tonight.

"It’s okay, I can sleep with Chi Yan," Su Yinhe waved it off carelessly.

Chi Yan is on his guard.

Murong: "..."

Darn it.

Darn it.

Murong’s resentment grew even stronger.

Murong didn’t want to see her now, he buried his head, he really needed to be alone, where are you, alone?

"Do you really just want to be alone?" Su Yinhe was still asking beside him.

"Yeah."

"Really?"
