Chapter 465: Chapter 458 Grand Finale_2
Song Haitao’s personal assistant, Sun Ziqing, wiped away a tear and gritted his teeth, saying:
"What if we research it further? Maybe we can find a solution."
"I’ll use the restroom." Jiang Yan glanced at everyone, a thought flashing in her mind.
Mo Jingsheng nodded slightly, "Once you’re back, we’ll depart for the SS zone."
Jiang Yan entered the restroom, focused her mind, and entered the space, bringing Hua Bao out with her.
Then, she changed into a new set of clothes.
When Jiang Yan reappeared wearing a red-and-white spacesuit, everyone was momentarily stunned.
Qin Zepeng gave her a top-to-bottom glance and remarked, "Jiang Yan, that suit isn’t the one for Mars."
Spacesuits are specially designed.
Each destination has different requirements and thus different functionalities.
To distinguish them, the suits are produced in varying colors.
"There’s less than an hour remaining until the optimal launch time. Leader Mo, I want to talk to you," Jiang Yan glanced at her watch and looked at Mo Jingsheng.
Mo Jingsheng was now reinstated as the base leader in charge of all space launch operations, no longer serving as the ship’s captain.
"Alright." The two entered a small adjacent room.
Before Jiang Yan could speak, Mo Jingsheng seemed to have guessed her thoughts. "Jiang Yan, you bear the future of this nation. You cannot go."
Jiang Yan asserted solemnly, "This is something only I can resolve."
As her words landed, Mo Jingsheng suddenly felt himself being lifted off the ground by an invisible force.
Shocked, he tried to break free, but all his efforts were futile.
"Could this be the aftermath of killing those mutated sharks earlier?"
"Yes," Jiang Yan nodded. "My power extends far beyond this. You have to trust me."
She finished speaking and glanced at the Cannibal Flower, now fully leveled after consuming all the Gold.
Jiang Yan wasn’t entirely confident.
But even if she failed, she could always retreat into the space and never come out again.
However, the National Treasures she’d stored would end up sitting idle in the Inventory Area.
Thirty minutes later, Jiang Yan and Mo Jingsheng returned to the space launch site one after the other.
A few minutes later, the new manned spacecraft was ready.
At the command "Ignition," the rocket carrying Jiang Yan and the hidden Cannibal Flower soared skyward.
Soon, the spacecraft entered its predetermined orbit.
Seconds ticked by.
Finally, the hatch opened, and Jiang Yan, clad in her spacesuit, stepped out bit by bit as per her training.
Back on the ground, inside a makeshift rocket launch command center, everyone held their breath, eyes glued to the large screen ahead.
Hearts were pounding.
Some had already begun praying silently with clasped hands.
Mo Jingsheng’s brow furrowed deeply, veins bulging on his arms.
"Snap—" At the very moment Jiang Yan fully stepped out of the space capsule, the screen abruptly went dark.
"This—"
"What’s happening?!"
"Run diagnostics immediately!"
"The connector in space is under attack by unidentified dark matter."
Panic erupted inside the room.
"Leader Mo, what now?"
Mo Jingsheng’s lips were tightly pursed, his back drenched in cold sweat. "Hold your positions! Stay calm and don’t lose order!"
Inside, he desperately wanted to believe in Jiang Yan.
Jiang Yan had told him that to prevent her "trump cards" from being exposed, she might use certain measures to cut off communication temporarily.
But now, he was clearly unsettled, though he maintained composure in front of the team.
Jiang Yan, you must be okay!
I won’t allow anything to happen to you!

In outer space, Hua Bao, perched on Jiang Yan’s shoulder, began to grow larger bit by bit.
"Swish, swish, swish!"
Upon completing its ultimate upgrade, it instantly unfurled its concealed vines.
At the tips of 96 vines, small, snarling mini heads blossomed like ephemeral flowers.
Looking at the distant Meteor Array, Jiang Yan commanded, "Hua Bao, go."
"Got it, Mom!" One vine held her wrist while the remaining 96 shot out like swords.
The vines rapidly lengthened and thinned as they entered the Meteor Array.
Soon, completely unaffected by magnetic fields, Hua Bao detected a distinct scent. "Mom, I found the laboratory!"
Jiang Yan grabbed the vine left behind near her and said firmly, "If you can resolve it, do so. If not, we retreat to the space."
"Okay." Countless vines zipped and coiled around the floating metal pod in space.
A cold mechanical voice echoed from a corner of the metal pod:
