Chapter 1202: Battle comes to an end!

Time passed,

I’m standing at the entrance of the passage. My perception was active. If anything comes behind me to attack, I would know.

Not long after the killing of the foreign creatures. I heard a weird sound again. If not for my strong mind, the weird sound would have disturbed me.

Weird Cry!

A deformed foreign creature appears in the passage. Its height is taller than the passage height. It’s weirdly bending his body to walk inside.

Looking at the foreign creature, my stomach began to churn again. This foreign creature was different from before. I don’t think a single bolt can take life in one move.

“Lightning Finger Technique!”

I raised my hand. A single powerful lightning beam shot out from my forefinger.

In a flash, the lightning beam tore through the air before striking the weird foreign creature’s body.

An explosion occurs. The black skin and flesh of the foreign creature blasted away. A weird blood mixed with parts splattered on the ground.

The impact force hits both sides of the walls. It’s causing the walls to shake. I realised that the aftermath of the technique is different from the single bolt.

If he continues to use the attack technique, then the passage might collapse. So he used the lightning energy and shot multiple lightning bolts at the foreign creature.

Boom!

The foreign creature which was struggling and was attacked by the lightning power. The destructive lightning with shock force power began to destroy the rest of the foreign creature’s body.

In the blink of an eye, the talking foreign creature lost most of its body and fell to the ground.

Seeing that my eyes flickered.

Fortunately, I didn’t allow these foreign creatures to attack me. But I’m curious to know about their ability.

Apart from their mucous liquid which was poisonous. I didn’t see anything. Then I recovered my thoughts and continued to pay attention to the surroundings.

My eyes were staring into the passage. I don’t know where the passage leads to. Maybe I will know more after settling down in the quarter.

Alarm!

The alarm sounds again a few minutes later.

My eyes flash with relief. Then I turned around and started darting towards the exit. I could hear many weird crying sounds coming from the passage.

My heart stirred. As if many foreign creatures are waiting to come out but they were not allowed for some reason.

It reminds me of my trial where I dealt with waves of foreign creatures. I reached the exit within a minute. Then, without thinking further, I darted out.

Only after leaving the massive cave infrastructure did they retreat to the safe spot close to the Camp building. I paused my footsteps.

Then I turned around and looked at the cave infrastructure. I’m seeing many warriors exiting through the different passages. It’s one of the sights I’m witnessing for the first time.

I don’t know whether everyone was safe or if there were some casualties. But I’m hoping that everyone has eliminated the foreign creatures from their sides.

“Zack Lockwood!”

The next second, someone called out my name. Hearing that I turned around and saw the person was none other than Assistant Estella.

“Senior,” I uttered.

Estella saw that Zack Lockwood was fine. The next second, she raised her eyebrows in surprise. Because she found that Zack Lockwood’s clothes were fine.

He hadn’t suffered any scratches or anything. She wonders whether Zack Lockwood had fought against any foreign creatures at all.

“Senior,” I called out to her again.

Estella recovered her thoughts.

She said, “Let’s go. I’ll take you towards your quarters.”

Hearing that I started following her. On my way back, I came across other warriors who were going towards their quarters.

Soon, we got closer to the main campus building. It’s the same building where the Teleportation platform was located.

But Senior Estella took the right side and started walking on the footpath. Seeing that, I was surprised. Because I’m seeing a few other Black Mark Warriors moving in that direction.

“Don’t be surprised. It’s the quarters of the newly joined members. Because there are casualties every now and then. So we have new members joining our camp whenever it’s necessary,” Estella revealed the truth

Hearing that my eyes flickered with understanding. I was wondering whether there would be any casualties or not.

It appears that warriors lost their lives fighting against the corrupted beasts. Then I didn’t ask questions.

Soon, we came to the quarters. I saw a series of multi-storey buildings. Senior Estella brought me to the administration desk.

An old man is sitting behind the desk.

“Orion, we have a new member from the Star University campus. He recently became the Black Mark Warrior. His name is Zack Lockwood.”

“Supervisor Bobby gave instructions to take special care of him,” Estella said to the old man.

Hearing that old man straightened his back first. He knew it must be someone important if the Supervisor wanted him to take special care.

“Senior Estella, don’t worry. I’ll take care of the rest of the matter,” Oldman said.

On the other hand, their conversation surprised me.

The old man is much older than Senior Estella. But he is addressing her as a Senior. Then I noticed that the Old man is Black Mark Warrior.

“Zack Lockwood, someone will give you our warrior camp uniform and login ID. Then you can browse the classified information you wanted to know,” Estella said before leaving.

When she was gone from the place. I turned towards the Old man named Orion. The old man started to observe me from top to bottom.

“Your name is Zack Lockwood,” the Old man said.

Hearing that I nodded to him.

“You were wondering why I called her Senior,” Orion said with a smile.

Hearing that I was stunned. Because it was the exact doubt in my mind.

Before the young man could explain. The old man Orion said, “I used to be the Silver Mark Warrior. But during one of the battles against the foreign creatures. I suffered injuries to the foundation.”

“So my strength was dropped back to the Black Mark Rank,” he added.

A look of understanding dawned on me.
