Chapter 932: Chapter 432 Group B Class 15, The Strange Art Female Teacher Reappears

"Alright!" Li Huiyuan gritted her teeth and let out a nasal sound. "But... you absolutely must not get cocky!"

"Relax, I’ll only go with the safest option." Lin Yi patted her hand, then suddenly glanced at her mini bat. "Your bat... the style seems a little off... no wonder you didn’t want to show it to me earlier."

Li Huiyuan’s delicate face instantly flushed red.

She had only been a Sports Student for two days. Even though her talent seemed decent, she couldn’t manage to condense a proper bat like more seasoned Sports Students could. Being able to conjure a short stick was already a decent feat, but the misleading size and appearance of her "bat" bore a resemblance to a certain famous singer’s name, which had made her too embarrassed to show it to Lin Yi. She hadn’t expected him to spot it now.

"Do you have a death wish?!" She clenched her teeth, venomous words squeezed out between them as she dismissed the bat in her hands. "If you dare spout nonsense, I’ll tattle to the Boss and tell him you streaked in front of the Homeroom teacher, then convinced her to put you in someone else’s clothes!"

"Huh?" Lin Yi stumbled a step, thinking to himself, Damn, no way... your lie feels like it came with autocorrect precision, so accurate?

"Uh... I actually didn’t see anything." Lin Yi quickly said, trying to appear serious.

The corners of his mouth twitched hard. His original intention had been to divert Li Huiyuan’s focus away from these Zealots and onto him with a few words. But he hadn’t expected Li Huiyuan’s bizarre womanly logic to kick in, making him inadvertently shoot himself in the foot.

Seeing the time on his watch, he took Li Huiyuan’s hand and slowly followed the Zealot ahead.

...

X023, May 10th, 9:42 AM, Teaching Building "Taboo Area B-5F."

Thin white mist permeated the entire corridor, the peeling and mottled walls resembling decayed scales, as if they could crumble with the slightest tremor.

Lin Yi followed the Zealot past a Teacher’s Office, briefly glancing at the signage.

"Teacher’s Office (Group B, Class 15)"

"This place used to be open, right?" Lin Yi asked aloud.

The Zealot in front paused slightly in his steps. "Don’t ask questions that shouldn’t be asked."

"You can’t even answer this?" Lin Yi asked again.

"You don’t seem to understand," the Zealot slowly stopped moving forward and turned around. His expression was icy, a sinister smile tugging at the corners of his mouth, and his tone was chillingly cold. "I said, don’t ask questions that shouldn’t be asked."

Lin Yi furrowed his brows, stepped forward without giving the Zealot time to react, and his Sky Blue Aura coiled around his arm like an invisible ripple. He extended his fingers wide, grabbing the Zealot’s head like a basketball, and slammed it into the wall of the nearby classroom.

"Boom——!!"

The heavy impact made the Zealot’s head partially flatten, some of it embedding into the wall, causing jagged cracks to spread across the gray-stained surface. Bits of plaster crumbled and fell to the ground in shocking bursts.

"You didn’t seem to figure out the situation either..." Lin Yi’s tone turned utterly cold. "What’s this nonsense about asking the right questions? If I ask you something, it’s the right question. If you can answer, then answer. If you can’t, just say you can’t. What’s with all the crap?"

"You...!!!" The Zealot was clearly stupefied, momentarily unable to react. He tried to struggle, but quickly realized Lin Yi’s grip was eerily strong. That one hand felt like a hydraulic press, holding his head against the wall without budging.

"Let me down and I’ll talk..." the Zealot pleaded weakly.

Lin Yi loosened his grip but suddenly felt dissatisfied, so he grabbed the Zealot’s head again and rammed it into the wall. Only then did he let him go. "Talk."

The Zealot’s face still bore an expression of confusion. Usually, when Experience Students accidentally wandered into this area or were "invited" up here, they would cower in fear and trepidation before him. This had fed his arrogance, making it impossible for him to reconcile the sight of Lin Yi—a seemingly harmless college student with clear, naive eyes—handing him such a brutal beatdown.

By the time he realized something was wrong, Lin Yi had already slammed his head against the wall twice...

The worst part was that he’d been beaten up, yet the nearby companions remained indifferent, as if the incident had nothing to do with them at all.

Seeing this scene, the Zealot began to understand that none of these people actually cared about his wellbeing. Every single one was only here to follow the "Teacher’s" orders.

"This place was originally built as part of the operational area... Later, something happened... and it became what it is now..." the Zealot hurriedly explained.

"What exactly happened?" Lin Yi pressed.

"I don’t know the specifics. I only know it was some kind of disaster, and it happened years ago, probably about a decade. Beyond that, I’m clueless..."

Lin Yi hadn’t expected this Zealot to be such a masochist, responding only to force and not to kindness. He also noticed the reactions—or rather, lack thereof—of the other Zealots.

These Zealots didn’t seem to care when one of their own was beaten, yet they showed slight agitation when the group’s pace slowed down.

Lin Yi speculated that these Zealots might operate under some kind of "mechanism"—individual thoughts paired with a shared goal. Only when this collective goal was threatened did their behavior change.
