Chapter 285: Chapter 132: The Blood Vessels within the Stinky Mud Sculpture [Monthly Ticket Request at the Start of the Month~]
"This is Pan Jian’s relic," Lin Yi said naturally. "The students in the classroom thought this thing brought Pan Jian bad luck. No one wanted to deal with it, so I took it."
"A relic?" Li Huiyuan’s expression changed slightly.
Lin Yi briefly explained how Pan Jian had stayed overnight in the classroom and then was killed by non-human classmates.
After hearing this, Li Huiyuan’s expression inevitably became somewhat desolate, revealing a sense of mourning the misfortunes of others.
Pan Jian had stayed overnight in the classroom and met his demise; although she had returned to the dormitory, she too had not escaped the death crisis, merely delaying its arrival.
"What happens if you stay overnight in the classroom?" Li Huiyuan asked tentatively. If she couldn’t find the convenience store and obtain the Student Souvenir Coin, she might very well have to stay in the classroom overnight...
She certainly did not want to be treated the way Pan Jian was.
Lin Yi glanced at her, vaguely guessing her concerns, but chose not to hide the truth. He pointed at the elevator and then frankly informed her, "That thing in the elevator turns into things resembling students at night and joins anyone who stays in the classroom overnight."
Upon hearing this, Li Huiyuan felt the hair on her arms stand up, and goosebumps followed.
Lin Yi continued, "That’s under normal circumstances. Usually, if you ignore them, there’s no problem. But once the lights go out in the classroom, they start a massacre. Only by ignoring them and focusing solely on the floor or the legs of the desks can you escape unscathed."
Li Huiyuan felt a chill down her spine and sensed a dark cloud hovering over her head, ready to engulf her at any moment.
Lin Yi looked at her expression, originally intending to offer some comforting words like "Don’t worry too much," but the words that came to his lips changed to: "Let’s take it one step at a time."
Li Huiyuan pursed her lips and nodded.
"That’s it for now. Let’s go to the next place." Lin Yi took one last look at the elevator door before turning to leave. However, at that moment, a somewhat cautious voice arose not far behind him: "Lin Yi, what are you doing here?"
Lin Yi turned around and saw an old acquaintance: "Xu Shunkang?"
Not just Xu Shunkang, Xie Huayang was also there.
The two tended to move together, much like a duo of contrasting physiques, though Xie Huayang wasn’t skinny either; both were stoutly built, truly fitting the mold of sports students.
Xu Shunkang seemed to have noticed something and quickly came over to Lin Yi, positioning himself protectively behind him: "Be careful, don’t get close to the electricity, don’t go near there!"
He did not know that Lin Yi had already dealt with the non-human student. He meant to say "elevator," but ended up forcibly swallowing the word.
The next moment, he saw the non-human student in his hardened plaster-like state, his eyes reflecting a deep caution: "Mole, come quick! A few things... a few filthy things crawled out of the elevator early!"
Upon hearing this, Xie Huayang hurried over, equally shocked by the scene before him: "Looks like they dried up after running out? Strange, this place doesn’t let any light through. How did they turn like this? Could it be the security guard?"
Xu Shunkang shook his head: "How could it be the security guard?"
Xie Huayang quickly realized: "Right, it doesn’t seem like their doing."
"Um..." Lin Yi weakly raised his hand, "Actually, I did it with a Mirror."
Xu Shunkang and Xie Huayang first stared in astonishment, then exchanged looks, both filled with disbelief.
"A mirror? Are you fucking kidding?" Xie Huayang couldn’t help but say, "You think this is ’cultivating immortality,’ waving a magical treasure and flashing it to kill a demon or ghost?"
"Mole, you’re being too hasty; it might not be so," Xu Shunkang reassured, placing a hand on Xie Huayang’s shoulder, "If it were during the day, they are inherently weak, and with the sunlight reflected from a mirror, it could indeed have some effect..."
"I’ll go check it out," Xie Huayang frowned, reaching into his athletic jacket and pulling out a baseball bat, then stepping alone into the shadowy area.
Lin Yi was astonished: How the hell did you pull out such a big baseball bat from your clothes?!
"Be careful, I’ll keep watch," Xu Shunkang said from within the sunlight.
"Don’t worry, what could happen during the day?" Xie Huayang approached the non-human student in its ’stinky mud form’ and gently tapped it with the baseball bat.
With a ’crack,’ the plaster-like body was immediately covered in web-like cracks, but did not burst apart as one might expect.
"There’s definitely something wrong," Xie Huayang furrowed his brow, examining the part of the non-human student that extended into the elevator,
He clenched the baseball bat, then fiercely slammed it down on the non-human student’s ’stinky mud form.’
With a ’bang’—accompanied by a heavy striking sound—the plaster-like form shattered explosively, revealing a wriggling vein as thick as chopsticks.
Xie Huayang’s eyes gleamed sharply, his lips curling into a cold arc, and then he raised the baseball bat high.
Just as he was about to strike down, he suddenly thought of something and turned to Lin Yi and Li Huiyuan: "You two, move back a bit and turn away. The scene that follows isn’t something you should see."
But Lin Yi ignored his words, staring at the vein, his eyes reflecting a thoughtful expression.
