Alpha Damien's Breeder: The first night

Chapter 113: Confessing about five years ago

"This rogue has been living within the pack with Miss Aurora’s assistance. Fortunately, they are lovers who planned to depart from the pack after Miss Aurora successfully stole a substantial amount of money from the Alpha," Elder Timotei asserted, speaking with confidence as if certain of his statements. The scene unfolding before Aurora’s eyes caused her heart to ache.

On her wedding day, a fabricated accomplice was introduced to accuse her of infidelity. Now, they were employing the same tactic to eliminate her, a method that seemed to always work. Was everything destined to work in favor of her death?

Aurora burst into laughter, a sharp sound that drew everyone’s attention. The same incident was replaying, and she vowed to seek revenge against everyone involved if she managed to survive. All she desired was to avenge her parents’ death and reunite with them, little did she know her fate would be this grim.

"Miss Aurora, do you admit to your sins?" Using her laughter as an excuse, Elder Timotei questioned.

"Don’t you tire of framing the innocent? If you want to be rid of me, you could banish or kill me. Why go through so much trouble?" Aurora queried, shocking everyone in the courtroom.

"You still won’t show remorse for your actions. Fine, let’s do it the hard way," Sarah snarled, walking up to Aurora with a threatening demeanor.

"I was the one who found her in the Alpha’s brother’s room. I caught her stealing some of his accessories while I was taking a stroll around the mansion," Sarah began explaining, completely distorting the original story.

"You claim you caught her stealing, but why were you in the Alpha’s brother’s room?" A woman from the audience inquired.

"Fortunately, the door was slightly open, and I saw a faint figure rummaging through his belongings, only to find Miss Aurora and her accomplice. I tried to talk her out of it, but she ordered the rogue to attack me. Thankfully, the guards arrived just in time and managed to apprehend both her and the rogue," Sarah narrated, revealing an imprinted wound on her sleeve that looked like a scratch from a wild animal.

"This is the wound I received from the attack," she said, raising her hand to show everyone, eliciting pitying looks. Now she was sure Aurora was doomed for.

"That’s not true, I was brought in as a maid by Theresa five years ago. How could I have encountered a rogue?" Aurora contested, presenting her viewpoint.

"Yes, I personally brought Aurora in, and she barely knows people in the pack. She couldn’t have met a rogue, let alone fall in love with one," Theresa supported.

"It was said that she leaves the mansion occasionally and has friends. I guess the rogue should tell us about their relationship himself," Sarah directed her gaze at Elyon, giving him a meaningful look before returning to her seat.

"What do you have to say?" She asked him.

"I and Aurora have been in love for some time now. We planned for Aurora to permanently leave the pack by stealing enough money for our expenses. Unfortunately, your Alpha claimed Aurora as his woman, so we devised this plan," the rogue stated, expressing anger to substantiate his words.

Aurora sat helplessly on the floor, not bothering to counter his words since there was no evidence to proclaim her innocence. Moreover, they had orchestrated everything meticulously, leaving her with nothing convincing to say to the audience.

Resigning herself to the little time she had left in the world, she lay back down on the floor. There was time for everything, a time to fight and a time to back off. Now was the time to give up, and just watch everything happen the way Goddess Selena wanted it.

"How did you enter the pack?" A member of the audience inquired.

"Through her help. I was unfortunate to have fallen unconscious while running away from another pack and met her in the woods. She treated my wound and smuggled me into the pack," he explained, bowing his head as if feeling remorse, but when he raised his head, his expression lacked guilt, as if he felt no remorse.

"Then you both have been dating for some time now?" The interrogation continued.

"Yes, in fact, she had to abort a baby for me to avoid raising suspicions until we flee," he answered.

Sarah smiled satisfactorily, pleased that he was delivering the lies as she had instructed. She had sent him a note containing the fabrications he was now presenting.

’You are wise,’ Sarah thought. The rogue clearly valued his life, and that was contributing to their plan.

"Those are lies. Aurora never left the mansion unless necessary. Who is this rough-looking man?" Theresa shouted, pounding her fist on the table once more. She knew Aurora well enough to dismiss such a claim. She had personally brought Aurora to the mansion, so how could she have encountered a rogue?

"Theresa, how can you fully trust someone you brought in as a breeder?" Sarah faced Theresa, inquiring with an emotional expression, attempting to manipulate Theresa’s emotions.

Initially, Sarah had brushed off the idea of investigating Aurora’s origin when her mother brought it up. Little did she know it would become useful. Moreover, they could exploit the fact that Aurora detested the idea of being Damien’s breeder, planning to escape with her lover.

Breeder!

What is happening?

Why did the mistress of the mansion bring in a breeder?

Fortunately, it worked, as bringing in various breeders for Damien was something Theresa secretly did without alerting anyone.

"Breeder? What is Luna talking about, Theresa?" Dropping all formalities, Elder Timotei asked, shocked by the revelation.

Theresa clenched her fist, her gaze hardening as she glared at Sarah in disgust. In that moment, she resolved not to accept Sarah as her daughter-in-law, even if Aurora didn’t survive this ordeal. Theresa was determined to do everything in her power to dissuade her son from marrying such a malicious woman like Sarah. If her future daughter-in-law was already going against her before marriage, what would become of her after the marriage? Theresa didn’t want to find out and was determined to prevent Sarah from becoming their Luna.

"The fact that she was a breeder has nothing to do with this case, unless you are trying to incite people’s wrath against her, which you clearly are," Theresa asserted, refusing to back down and making it evident that she saw through Sarah’s intentions.

Sarah gasped, fearing she had already offended her future mother-in-law, which was not a good idea before her marriage. She could get rid of her anytime, but that couldn’t be done unless she officially acquired the Luna’s position, granting her power second only to the Alpha’s.

"Mother-in-law..." She began, only to be cut off by Theresa with a dismissive wave of her hand.

"Do not call me that! You have disrespected me enough today," Theresa warned, then turned her attention to the audience.

"I was never going to reveal this to the pack members because I wanted everyone to believe my son had no issue with finding a woman. I know most people still think our Alpha is impotent or infatuated with men, but none of those are true, and that woman is the evidence," Theresa began, deciding to put an end to the rumors once and for all.

Doubts, once planted, continue to grow until they are extinguished. It was better to stop the doubt from growing than to let it tarnish her son’s image. She had made many mistakes, and she was determined to rectify them, even if she had to face consequences in the process.

"Indeed, I brought in many breeders to seduce my son, but none were ever successful, including Aurora. Most of them were royals, third-class citizens, maids, and slaves. The reason I kept Aurora in the mansion was that she was the only one who managed to be marked by the Alpha, I had hope in her." The courtroom fell silent as various emotions swirled in people’s minds. She had to bring in a breeder for the sake of her son? It was hard to believe she was doing it for her son, or was she lying?

Sarah was shocked because her informant had only mentioned that Theresa was doing it for wealth’s sake. The more people she got to sleep with the Alpha, the more they paid her. It sounded unreasonable that someone like Theresa, would use such an undignified way to earn money. What the hell was Theresa talking about? Who was lying, Theresa or her informant? And did she just say marked? Damien had already marked a she-wolf who wasn’t his mate?

"Five years later, he returned and surprisingly asked me about Aurora, the woman he marked ages ago. And that was how she became his woman," Theresa concluded her revelation and gazed at Aurora, silently mouthing an apology to her. She should have never allowed her to stay in the mansion after that night, she should have freed her.

"If what you are saying is true, then one of you is lying."
