All Heavenly destiny reduced to ashes

85: Shelf Speech – The Stubborn One (On sale at 12pm tomorrow) 85: Shelf Speech – The Stubborn One (On sale at 12pm tomorrow) Sheng Liu: Tomorrow I’ll update 10 chapters at noon, 12 PM, and follow-up updates will be based on first subscriptions and monthly tickets.

In the future, I’ll also be updating two chapters every day at 12 PM, and additional chapters will be released between 6~8 PM.

If I haven’t finished writing, it may be a bit late, but not by much.

Rules for additional updates:

Monthly tickets start at 3000 (it was 3200 when I wrote this chapter), and for every additional 1000, I’ll add an extra update.

The same rule applies in April, and I’ll ask for your support again.

First subscriptions start at 0, and for every 1000, I’ll add an extra update.

So please give a little more first subscriptions.

The alliance leader owes a total of 21 additional updates, 5 have been repaid, leaving 16 updates.

If the alliance leader hasn’t joined the group, feel free to join.

There are benefits for minor characters, and noble officials from Gaochuan have finale gifts; this book might also have something special.

I can say without exaggeration that I’ve never owed any extra updates, and the old readers can attest to that.

The new friends are also welcome to give it a try.

Here I want to thank all my reader friends for your support.

You are my bread and butter, and I will do my best to write this story well.

To those who gave rewards or even became alliance leaders, my thanks for your generosity.

I will add all of your additional updates in order, none will be missed.

Thanks to Lvdou, Wuyue, and Penglai for their help.

It’s my first time writing a fantasy novel, and the editors gave me a lot of useful suggestions, which I keep in my heart.

I also want to thank friends who helped promote the chapters, and you can check out their books—they are all very good reads.

“Shepherd’s Secret Continuation” by Bu Qi Shi Xian.

My friend Amao’s classic game-inspired story set in another world, it’s a page-turner!

“Master Dao Wants to Ascend” by Pei Tu Gou.

Dog Bro’s latest hit fantasy, truly a great read!

“Artillery Arc” by Count Constantine.

One of the best alternate history war novels I’ve ever read.

“I Have a Cultivation World” by Chun Jiu Lian Bao Deng.

The book that inspired me, brotherly spirit, sparked my inspiration!

There were supposed to be a few more friends’ mutual promotions, but this group said they would release their books together and ended up stalling.

Name-checking Shi Yao (author of “Siren’s Blade”) and Ting Ri (author of “Sorcerer’s Handbook”), what can I say.

“Can Only Monsters Do It” by Gu Xin Xuan.

My friend Black Dragon’s blended fanfic, quite a mix of content, definitely a good read for those on the right wavelength—here’s another plug.

Since launching the first chapter on February 18th, it’s been a month and a few days, and I’ve updated 200,000 words.

My friends keep telling me to update less, but I know I tend to write in detail, and if I don’t write much, it comes off as dragging.

As for the performance, it’s been decent.

Ever since I got sick, I’ve been quite detached about the results.

This is also my first fantasy book, so it’s normal not to be too accustomed to it, but the book’s performance has still made me a little hopeful, at least it didn’t flop.

Here I want to thank my old friend Audinus Cyclops, the first Silver Alliance member of this book, an old friend who has always supported me!

And other old alliance leaders and readers, thank you for your unwavering loyalty.

Without you, my new attempt at fantasy would definitely have flopped!

Last but not least, I kindly ask for your first subscriptions and monthly tickets.

That’s about it for the launch speech.

It’s actually enough.

So, here’s an advertisement: the physical book “Above the Heavens 3: Ruins Abyss” has also been launched!

The crowdfunding gifts include: postcards, character stickers, snack sets, and laser bookmarks, with more unlockable items underway!

It’s still in the same place, the WeChat mini-program Dimension Gather, and the quality is really good, you should try it!

Next, as usual, those who aren’t in a rush can stay a while longer, and we can chat more together.

Those familiar with me know that I don’t like writing about ordinary people.

I don’t even like the concept of ordinary people.

In my view, ordinary people are a false concept that exists only in the imagination.

The very existence of this term is the greatest blurring and erasure of the individual consciousness of every person in this world.

Individuals, each with their own personality, their own blood qi, their own persistence, and dreams, are effortlessly wiped away by this term, all unique patterns and characteristics erased, leaving a smooth, vague, indistinguishable statue with no clear face or discernible traits.

I’ve seen many people.

In my view, every person is unique, even those with the same hobbies, who enjoy the same movie, like the same character, or even share the same kinks.

Even such like-minded companions are distinct from one another.

Their personalities are different, their sense of humor is different, their speech habits are different, the speed of their emotional changes is different, their preferences for colors are different, they have many, many differences…

too many to count.

Every person is unique.

I believe that everyone can achieve something great as long as they find what they truly want to do.

Those who think of others as ordinary people are simply too arrogant to acknowledge the special qualities in others.

I despise, and even…

fear this kind of ordinariness.

Therefore, the characters in my book will be portrayed with their unique aspects as much as possible to show why they stand out from other characters and why they can be the protagonists.

Gaochuan thirsts for strength.

He is always striving to go higher, faster, stronger, tirelessly surpassing.

Joshua seeks combat.

He revels in the thrill of battle, facing strong adversaries as a matter of course, creating miracles without any need for a reason.

Suzhou desires plain justice.

Acting for what he believes is right in his heart, he does so assertively and passionately, striving to make everything within his sight better.

Ian is on a path of eternal exploration.

He gazes towards the far reaches, his eyes eternally fixed on the stars and the cosmos.

The infinite distant stars are his destination, and he will never stop or hesitate.

So, what kind of traits does An Jing possess?

He is a complex person.

A person cannot be described with a single word.

I’ll give a detailed answer in the story to come, but for now, I’ll give you a trait that has already been thoroughly detailed previously.

Stubbornness.

Stubbornness: willful and unyielding, refusing to listen to persuasion.

Sticking to one’s own opinions, never turning back until hitting a wall.

That’s the kind of person he is.

A stubborn individual.

Not a hero, nor a villain.

Neither a saint nor a madman.

He’s someone who rushes headlong down the path he’s chosen, whether it leads to his own demise or that of everyone else.

I think many people have had their obstinate times.

Ignoring the advice of parents, teachers, friends, elders, leaders, acquaintances, or even strangers, they insist on doing something or making a certain decision.

No one can pull them back.

They are determined to accomplish something and won’t stop, even if it means going headfirst into disaster.

Until they regret, until they give up.

Until they are no longer stubborn, until they decide to turn back.

I, too, have had my share of headlong crashes in a professional field.

Now I write novels.

But An Jing is different.

Once he made a decision, not even his mother’s persuasion could stop him.

Once he identified right from wrong, he would persist in his actions.

If he thought the world was wrong, he would defiantly shatter it and mold it into the shape he desired, no matter if ten thousand or a hundred million people told him he was wrong.

He would never doubt himself.

His actions didn’t consider pros and cons, safety, duration, or difficulty.

He acted simply because he wanted to do so.

He wished to pacify the world.

So, he set out to do it.

He was like a dump truck that once started, would not stop, either crashing himself or shattering the world.

To put it in terms someone from the old school anime community might understand, An Jing was an Uchiha.

To put it more simply, An Jing was sick in the head, with severe paranoia.

Such a person would definitely be shattered to bits in reality.

But what of it?

The point of a story is to originate from reality but also to transcend it, isn’t it?

Is the existence of superpowers not precisely to break barriers that seem unbreakable, to allow for an unbelievable possibility that many can’t imagine but are curious about?

That’s the story I want to write: the story of a stubborn person who is convinced the world is wrong, who fiercely smashes the old world to create a new one for humanity.

Yes, the moment Innate Wisdom Bearer An Jing received aid from an ancient Sword Spirit and gained the ability to traverse different worlds, he knew his future would inevitably follow a path filled with hardship and uncomprehension, yet one that could change this terrible world.

And on this path, he would also crush a lot of despicable trash that deserved to be cut into a thousand pieces.

“Heehe, all creatures under heaven will eagerly celebrate the birth of this world-shaking colossus.

World, I am coming to save you!”

Noble Officials/Demon Sect/Heavenly Demon: “Sigh, can we make peace?”

“At this very moment?

You must be joking.”

——That’s the simple story.

I don’t expect everyone to like this story.

But I know, for sure, that there are many readers who do.

And I will write it, because I like it too.

I will write.

To write of a world, a canopy of heaven, a dark cloud hanging overhead.

To write of a youth, a man, an obstinate man walking the path of his dreams.

To write of a rebellion, battle after battle, breaking free of cages and the order of days past, time and again.

To write of one who, by his own strength…

Defeats the whole damn world!

My friends, I am indeed a strange and reclusive person, contradictory yet naive.

I firmly believe that everyone is unique, and everyone has their own form of stubbornness that is not like anyone else’s.

But I also believe, believe that among the eight billion distinct and extraordinary humans on Earth, there is a group of people who will like the same book.

This book is written for you, the unique ones.

I am very thankful for all the book friends who support this book and all my friends who support me.

I appreciate all the love and belief that stems from you.

Dear readers, I am Cloudy God in Hiding.

I am writing a story about a single-minded dream.

Heavenly Mandate will hit the shelves on March 22 at noon sharp, with at least ten updates guaranteed.

Let’s not miss each other.

Lastly, I’ll mention again that the physical book “Above the Heavens 3: The Abyss of Relics” has also kicked off!

The crowdfunding gifts include: postcards, character stickers, a collection of Babble, and holographic bookmarks, with more unlockable items in progress!

The same place as always, the WeChat Mini Program Dimensional Core, the quality is truly good, you can give it a try!
