All Heavenly destiny reduced to ashes
Chapter 690 - 66: The Heavenly and Earthly Dao Formation

Chapter 690: Chapter 66: The Heavenly and Earthly Dao Formation

An Jing has experienced Enlightenment numerous times.

The first Enlightenment occurred in Kanming City, where Heavenly Dao gave feedback, allowing him to comprehend the true intent of the [Grasping Heavenly Moment] series of cultivation techniques.

The second Enlightenment was in Tianyuan Realm, where he saw through the essence of the Demon Core and established the true intent of the [True Spirit Blood] series.

The third Enlightenment took place near the battlefield around Linjiang City, where An Jing comprehended [Heaven and Earth Root][True Spirit Blood·Ancestor Dragon Seed], completely solidifying his Formation Base.

These three Enlightenments laid an invincible foundation for An Jing. Although it sounds cliché, it was as if Heaven was indeed spoon-feeding him. Without any tangible written inheritance, he assembled a set of top-tier Divine Abnormalities.

Following that, in the Martial Meridian Realm, An Jing also crafted the highest level of [Tai Shi Taiyi] Formation Realm.

However, because the level was too high, An Jing wasn’t sure how to proceed for a time.

Speaking of others’ Formation Realms, let’s discuss his teacher, Mingguang Dust, whose Inner Array Realm ’Six Yang Mysterious Light’ is derived from the Six Yang Intent into a realm, where the Positive Yang is cloud, the Lesser Yang is wind, the Sun Yang is flame, and Xuan is the bearing Heavenly Dome; the Evening Yang as the glow, Canyang as the rainbow, Heart Yang as the spirit of heaven and earth, and Deep Light as the foundation of all things.

This configuration of Six Yangs and Eight Sceneries has formed a complete Realm of Radiance, internally and externally coherent, capable of existing independently, eternally indestructible.

This Formation Realm, based on Mingguang Dust’s Fate Pattern of ’Sun and Moon Radiance’, thus its advancement direction has been distinguished from the start. Due to his character, Mingguang Dust is extremely suited for this path, therefore, he resolutely continued forward, needing no further deliberation.

Indeed, this proved true, as Mingguang Dust made great strides on the path of Sun and Moon Radiance, encountering no Heart Demons or blockages. Throughout the process of Great Heaven’s Sanctification, aside from obstructions caused by Human Tribulations, he faced no issues on his own.

This was his path, his Fate Pattern, his will.

This, perhaps, is why Martial Artists progress farther than those on the Immortal Path: because Martial Artists receive approval from Heavenly Dao from the start, knowing exactly which path they ought to take, hence moving forward unceasingly without looking back, without confusion.

Of course, some might perceive the Fate Pattern gifted by Heavenly Dao as Destiny, akin to being forced to pursue a predetermined path, even if it’s one’s inherent talent and aptitude. There’s a sense of unwillingness to be coerced into it.

With Fate Pattern comes a lack of freedom.

Unable to practice paths [unsuitable for oneself], unable to [take divergent paths, hit a dead end], unable to [make mistakes].

The existence of Fate Pattern is like having a higher being dictating the outcome of one’s life. Even if one could fight to elevate their Fate Pattern, it simply means progressing further along this path. The outcome might be postponed, made better, but it remains the same.

Other directions do not exist.

This is not good.

Among Martial Arts Cultivators, many harbor the thought of transcending the confines of Fate Pattern, to become stronger and carve out paths beyond their forebears and Heavenly Dao.

Hence, they developed various Fate Changing Ceremonies, various Secret Techniques to rapidly elevate their Fate Patterns, believing that this is the key to advancing Martial Arts further.

These are merely the troubles of those under Heavenly Mandate.

Their distress lies between their capabilities and their imaginative aspirations, feeling that there should be another direction in life.

Merely so, resisting the preordination of [Destiny] is also a type of Destiny, as dissatisfaction with one’s Fate Pattern’s limits and attempts to elevate and alter it are also under the purview of Fate Pattern.

An Jing’s problems, however, are simpler yet more complicated.

With [Heavenly Mandate], he has everything, can do anything, capable of everything.

An Jing has long discovered that whatever he chooses to do is his Heavenly Mandate, his Fate Pattern, unbound by any constraints or obligations. As long as he lives, he will change this world, fulfilling his Heavenly Mandate.

He can do anything.

When [Destiny] gifts everything, so-called destiny essentially becomes [freedom].

Thus, An Jing enjoys such freedom, which led him to ponder which direction he ultimately should take—similarly, [Tai Shi Taiyi] is so overwhelmingly powerful that he simply cannot figure out where to begin.

The most difficult isn’t [All Things], but [Dao Shengyi].

If all things are permitted, everything is free, and you can do whatever you want... then in this realm of the free-willed Great Dao, what would be the first thing you do?

Is that truly your innate nature and heart?

This is the greatest issue.

What should be the next step for [Tai Shi Taiyi]?

Commencing with metal, naturally deriving the Five Elements, regenerating Yin and Yang; or perhaps attempting the assembly of the Five Elements to carve out Yang in creation and utilize destruction as Yin, thus forging the cyclic rotation of the Seven Luminaries?

Is it the grand opening of the heavens and the earth, from Tai Shi transforming to Taiji, further spawning the Four Symbols and Eight Trigrams from the Five Elements, or is it about constructing a more complex world, with billions of stars, Universe divine lights, and deriving the limitless Great Void?

The myriad of possibilities instead made An Jing halt, as though holding the best starting move, thus hesitantly refraining from starting the game, fearing a single misstep could ruin everything, and dishonor the perfection of this starting position.

Therefore, in this fourth enlightenment, if not related to Formation knowledge and insights concerning the Inner Formation Realm, An Jing has no desire for it.

As if hearing An Jing’s call, this enlightenment came swiftly and fiercely, responding to his requirements.

In that instant, via the highest level Formation secret from the Third Middle School’s secret archive "Great Universe within the Cauldron, Long Sun and Moon within the Pot," the Tianyuan Realm, without leveraging Heavenly Mandate or inspiring An Jing’s own wisdom for insight, instead directly infused enormous and profound mystical Dao rhymes, even the primal "First" inscribed in this universe, into An Jing’s mind!

—Oh, impressive, such an enlightenment exists? Brainwash me already!

If not for An Jing’s Innate Wisdom, cultivation in Tranquil Sword Manual, and his experienced harsh battles making his spirit resilient enough, under this forced Heavenly Dao enlightenment, he might have been brainwashed into a vegetative state understanding only cultivation and insights on Heaven and Earth within seconds.

Even though he could withstand it, he felt as if his head was about to explode with unbearable infinite heat!

But it was within this intense heat that he vaguely saw.

He saw an Immortal Venerable descending from the Great Void onto an abandoned and lifeless realm.

This realm was devoid of anything, even static, perpetually unchanging and eternally silent, where existing materials were not conceivable by mortals, but a stagnant chaos, absolute symmetry causing immutability.

It was like an egg that would never birth any life, the initial Perfection, existing between being and non-being, destined to remain in eternal silence.

[Truly the best canvas, the ultimate Formation Base, everything taught by the teacher, I can deploy at will.]

The Immortal Venerable looked around the silent cosmos, satisfied, and then raised his hand to start inscripting.

In the dim chaotic darkness, a silver-blue light shone.

From the Immortal Venerable’s fingertip flowed Formation Patterns like clouds, like water, like dragons, like phoenixes, encompassing all things, yet utterly simple.

He inscribed his own will at the origin of Heaven and Earth, at the source of the Great Dao.

[In this Universe, no longer symmetrical, in my name Han Yue, let Spiritual Fiend be prominent, the Universe shall take shape, all things shall birth the Five Elements, inter-promoting and inter-restraining, under the domain of Yin and Yang, conceiving the existence of birth and cessation...]

The silver-blue talismans entered deep into the cosmic Great Void, gradually taking effect.

And so...

Chrono-Light began to flow.

Taiyu started to move.

Material Images began to transform.

Spiritual Fiend began to transmute.

Chaos began to differentiate, into clear and murky, light and heavy, into Yin and Yang, water and fire, above and below, left and right, far and near, and all concepts understandable by mankind.

The Immortal Venerable wielded his brush, inscribing all things of Heaven and Earth.

From then on, Heaven had its four seasons, Earth had its four extremes.

The Sun and Moon took turns, accompanied by the Five Stars.

One Qi derived, all things took shape.

All things began here, a world brimming with life, thus was born.

At this moment, An Jing’s heart suddenly understood.

That is the Formation...

This realm’s universe, the largest and also the primal Formation!

[Heaven and Earth Dao]
