Chapter 132 My Grandson is Quite Handsome

Chapter 132: Chapter 132 My Grandson is Quite Handsome

Shen Antai was propped up by Quan Jinbei, looking dazed as he climbed onto the sword.

Shi Yaoguang flew with her sword all the way to the entrance of Lingyao Mountain before stopping.

"I’ll go bring the car over."

Shi Yaoguang told Quan Jinbei and Shen Antai to wait and ran off to drive the car over.

After getting into the car, Shi Yaoguang switched places with Quan Jinbei.

Although she knew how to drive, she didn’t have a driver’s license; it wouldn’t be good if they were pulled over.

As the rain grew heavier, Quan Jinbei abandoned the idea of taking Shen Antai back to the Shen Family and drove straight back to Quan Mansion.

All the way there, Shen Antai was reminiscing about his experience flying through the sky on the sword.

It wasn’t until he got out of the car that he asked, seeming bewildered, "Was I just dreaming?"

Quan Jinbei didn’t even give him a glance and simply instructed the butler to prepare a guest room for Shen Antai.

Shi Yaoguang teased him, "Old sir, haven’t you been cultivating for many years? How can you not accept flying on a sword?"

"Is it that I can’t accept flying on a sword? I... Yes!"

As he spoke, Shen Antai flashed Shi Yaoguang a sycophantic smile.

"You... no, Miss Shi."

He cleared his throat, putting on a serious and solemn expression.

Shi Yaoguang raised an eyebrow, puzzled: "What is it?"

"I have some good news to share with you."

As he said this, Shen Antai nervously rubbed his hands together.

Shi Yaoguang was surprised, "What good news?"

Shen Antai: "I think I have found my master!"

Shi Yaoguang congratulated him instinctively: "Congratulations."

After that, she became puzzled again, "Didn’t you say your master was going to come for you on a rainbow cloud?"

"No, no, no." Shen Antai waved his hands dismissively, "The rainbow cloud is just a saying. As long as it’s my master, even if she came to pick me up on foot, I’d be satisfied."

Shi Yaoguang nodded, thinking that his enlightenment was commendable.

If he insisted on waiting for a cultivator to arrive on a rainbow cloud, he might never meet his master in this lifetime.

Looking at her, Shen Antai excitedly rubbed his hands, "Miss Shi also thinks that changing my standards is a good idea?"

"Hmm." Shi Yaoguang approved: "Sometimes you indeed can’t be too rigid, or you’ll find yourself stuck in a deadlock."

"I knew it!" Shen Antai said, grinning, "Then I’ll stay true to my heart!"

With that, he knelt down in front of Shi Yaoguang on both knees.

Shi Yaoguang heard the "thump" and before she could react, the old man was kneeling before her.

Shi Yaoguang instinctively jumped back, avoiding the area where he knelt.

She patted her chest and exclaimed, "Old sir, what are you doing?"

Shen Antai looked at her intently: "Master above, please accept your disciple’s bow!"

As he spoke, he shuffled his knees, turning his gaze directly towards Shen Antai’s direction.

Shi Yaoguang: "..."

She never expected that Shen Antai’s change of mind meant this.

Seeing her stunned look, Shen Antai couldn’t help feeling a bit uneasy.

Just by looking at this young girl, he could tell she had real skills.

Flying on a sword, hey!

Real sword flying!

A living example of cultivation!

The old master had encountered many supposedly skilled individuals during his years of travel, yet the ones he met were either lacking in ability, only able to show off flashy moves in front of laypeople,

or they belonged to their own sects with teachings that were not passed on to anyone outside their own disciples.

Finally, he had come across a fat sheep...

Sptooey, sptooey, finally, he had met a genuine cultivator, and he was not about to let this opportunity slip away.

The butler, having just finished tidying up the guest room, happened to witness Shen Antai kneeling before Shi Yaoguang.

He was somewhat panicked.

"What... what’s happening here?"

Seeing him, Shen Antai waved him over.

The butler, confused, approached him, "Master Shen, did you need me?"

Shen Antai: "Please trouble yourself to brew a pot of tea."

"Brew tea?" The butler looked bewildered, "Are you thirsty, Master Shen?"

With a stern face and an urgent tone, Shen Antai said, "I’m not thirsty, this tea is very important, go quickly, don’t delay my life’s big event!"

Seeing his seriousness, the butler didn’t dare delay and hurriedly headed for the kitchen.

Shi Yaoguang naturally knew why Shen Antai had asked the butler to brew tea.

Shen Antai wore a flattering smile, "Miss Shi... no, Master, the tea for the apprentice ceremony is on its way, please, you must accept me!"

Quan Jinbei walked to the stairway and happened to hear the last sentence.

He flipped down from the second floor in one leap and, exuding an air of chilliness, approached Shen Antai, looking down on him with a thick sense of disdain in his voice: "After all these years, Shen the unreliable hasn’t changed a bit, and has become even more unrestrained with age!"

"Who, who has become unrestrained with age?"

Shen Antai glared at him, "I’m in the middle of making an apprenticeship here!"

"Apprenticeship?" Quan Jinbei seemed to notice his kneeling posture for the first time and sneered lightly, "How many years have you been doing this act of ’apprenticeship’? No one has taken you in till now, and you still want to latch onto me?"

"Who’s latching onto you?" Shen Antai retorted haughtily, "I am destined to be Miss Shi’s disciple this lifetime, you go away!"

Quan Jinbei gave him a meaningful look and then turned to Shi Yaoguang with an aggrieved face, "My lady, what if your disciple bullies me?"

Shi Yaoguang opened her mouth to respond, but then Shen Antai let out a sudden wail.

"Ow!"

Shi Yaoguang looked at him questioningly, only to see Shen Antai wearing a look of disbelief as he stared at Quan Jinbei.

"How can you be so sneaky?"

He huffed indignantly, "Don’t think that just because you’re older, you can take advantage of my master’s innocence and aim for cradle-snatching!"

Quan Jinbei wore a smug expression, "It’s not about me cradle-snatching, but her falling for me at first sight."

He said that and gave Shi Yaoguang a look.

Shi Yaoguang nodded in agreement, "That’s right."

Shen Antai immediately had an expression of someone struck by lightning, "How could this be?"

In a tone of heartbroken indignation, he complained, "Master, you might not know this, but this guy here is sneakier than they come. I’m telling you, you mustn’t be fooled by him!"

Then, scratching his head, he chuckled as something occurred to him, "I get it now, Master, it must be because you think this guy has a good appearance, right? I know all about this ’attraction to beauty’ thing you’ve got going on!"

"Master, it’s fine for you to have a thing for good looks, but you can’t just fall for any rubbish! If you really like handsome men, my grandson is quite the looker! Let me tell you, my little grandson is extremely handsome! If you don’t believe me, I can have him come over right away for you to have a look!"

Shi Yaoguang’s mouth twitched, "Is that really necessary?"

"How can this be unnecessary?" Shen Antai disagreed, "You’re my master. Shouldn’t I, your disciple, be concerned about such a significant part of your life?"
