Chapter 714: Chapter 676: Trapped Under the Sea? Captain Hawthorne is in Trouble! (Part 1)

"We suspect that the man called Harrison Skylar escaped from here," Len Hawthorne leaned against the railing, looking up at the dark sky. "Haven’t you noticed that there’s something off about this sky?"

Chloe Stephens tilted her head back, gazing at the ink-black sky. "Indeed, there’s something different."

"From various clues, we gathered some information that those who are sucked into this space are all eliminated by a mysterious team," Len Hawthorne laughed as she walked to Chloe’s side and sat down. "Yet, we are the exceptions."

Chloe thought of the couple and said, "No, other people have also escaped by chance."

"Maybe there are such people," Len Hawthorne pointed outside. "From our understanding, this development began when outsiders started studying this place two thousand years ago. That’s why it has only developed to this extent."

"It’s like destroying a world. Before ordinary people entered here, this was no place for ordinary people to stay," Chloe thought of the place they had entered. "So, we are now at the bottom of the sea?"

"Perhaps," Len Hawthorne stroked her long hair, itching to braid it. "Just assume we’re now in an underwater civilization. I used to think that if we couldn’t find the exit, I’d blast a hole in the sky to find you. Now that you’re here, maybe dying here isn’t such a bad thing!"

"You think being trapped in one place is a good thing?" Chloe wondered what Len was thinking. "My family is still outside."

Len Hawthorne paused for a moment. "Alex Stephens and Paul Wrigley are here, but Albert Webb and Herbert Maxwell are nowhere to be found."

Angelina Gregory and Blake Watsons had entered behind them, also hiding their figures and wandering outside.

"We’ll find a way to leave," Chloe looked up. "First, we need to figure out who else is above Moro College."

"That Alan Mercer is an ancient martial artist," Len Hawthorne said, "Although I haven’t seen him in action, his abilities might have reached the level of Harrison Skylar."

"Have you met him?" Chloe also wanted to meet this man, but didn’t expect Len had already met him.

"I’ve met him, but we haven’t fought," so she wasn’t sure about his true strength.

Acting rashly, she worried that it might ruin things.

Chloe said, "Then let’s investigate further before taking action."

"That’s what I mean," Len Hawthorne tied the braid. "Will you stay at my place tonight?"

Chloe glanced at her, "Do you want to tell everyone that we have a connection?"

"Why not?" Len Hawthorne felt that there was no need to hide in such a place.

"I don’t want to invite trouble," Chloe stood up. "I’ll go back first."

"Can Little Chloe bear to let me guard an empty room alone?" Len Hawthorne squinted at her.

Chloe walked away without looking back, leaving Len Hawthorne quite helpless.

Len Hawthorne returned to the small building and took out a cigarette. Rui Feng’s eyes narrowed a bit.

The figure in the corridor turned around. "I thought you would tell her that I’m here."

"I also thought you’d directly find her instead of looking for me," Len Hawthorne leaned against the railing, her tall figure casting a lengthened shadow under the dim light.

Austin Godfrey turned to Chloe’s location, "She doesn’t want to see me."

"Neither do I," why are you intruding in my space?

Austin Godfrey didn’t care if he was willing or not, "Go up further, and we will come face to face with those people. You didn’t tell her that this place might be a divine realm."

"We haven’t confirmed it," Len Hawthorne glanced at him. "Although I’ve told you about it, I don’t want you to tell her in person. I want to investigate more clearly; otherwise, when we face them, I’m afraid I won’t be able to protect her safety."

Len Hawthorne warned Austin Godfrey.

Austin Godfrey looked deeply at Len Hawthorne, "I know what to do. I’ll help wherever I can."

"Even though I don’t wish the person helping to be you," Len Hawthorne put the cigarette in her mouth and looked at him coldly, "but this time, I can accept it."

Austin Godfrey knew it was because of Chloe.

Austin Godfrey entered the bedroom and went straight to Len Hawthorne’s room to sleep. Len Hawthorne bit her cigarette and clicked her tongue. In the end, she couldn’t shake off the man with the surname Austin.

It was better for him to stay here than to let Austin stay with Chloe.

Len Hawthorne went to the guest room.

But she didn’t sleep and was instead sorting out the things they had discovered upon entering on a piece of paper with a pen.
