Chapter 634: Chapter 598: Only Little Chloe, The Game Begins! (2 more)
"Captain Hawthorne bringing western witches into Herta Kingdom violates the convention."
Austin Godfrey stared at Dave Roland as he slowly said this to Len Hawthorne.
Len Hawthorne laughed sinisterly.
His laugh was infected with a hint of mockery.
"Austin, given my status, even if I were to bring in a few more witches, it wouldn’t break the convention."
Austin’s eyes darkened slightly.
Indeed, Len did have that kind of power.
Austin Godfrey looked straight into Len Hawthorne’s eyes: "Captain Hawthorne, you must be so eager to push people."
As Len saw the panic in Austin’s eyes, he hooked a wicked smile on his lips, slowly releasing Dave Roland and tossing him back through the glass door.
"It seems like you Godfrey family members know something," but you won’t tell.
Austin saw through the truth behind Len’s eyes and his eyebrows twitched slightly.
Len Hawthorne turned to Chloe: "Little Chloe, is there anything else you need to confirm?"
"All that could have been confirmed has been confirmed," Chloe said, her eyes dark as she stared at Austin.
Austin heaved a sigh in his heart, knowing Chloe was trying to find out something.
The three of them faced each other, not talking anymore, and the atmosphere was unusually quiet.
It wasn’t until Dave Roland tapped on the glass door that they seemed to snap back to reality.
*
Standing outside, the door closed heavily behind them.
Since Austin wouldn’t admit it directly, Len Hawthorne decided to lock him in there.
Whenever Austin decided to remember, he would naturally run to them on his own.
Austin said to Chloe, "Now your reputation has spread all over the world, and anyone who touches you will face the wrath of the Godfrey family."
Len Hawthorne clicked his tongue, disdainful of what the Godfrey family did: "Do you think Little Chloe wants these things and would let you Godfreys handle it?"
The Godfrey family doing this was simply redundant.
Ignoring the sour tone of Len Hawthorne, Austin nodded slightly at Chloe, and then turned around and left without any fuss.
Len Hawthorne raised an eyebrow: "He sure is righteous; those things online, do you want to remove them?"
"Withdraw them," Chloe said. She let the Godfrey family have one day, which was already the limit.
Len Hawthorne picked up his mobile phone and dialed a number, "You can erase it now."
Chloe glanced over when she heard his brief instructions.
Len Hawthorne put away his phone and said, "I never liked the way the Godfrey family did things. I’m always ready to help clean up this mess for you."
Chloe nodded, not feeling any overstep in Len Hawthorne’s preparations: "Did you find that person?"
"I remember that guy’s Qi, I’ll find him myself. Do you want me to send you back to Sheffield City first?" Len Hawthorne thought she had been away from home for a long time, and though he was reluctant, she still needed to be sent back to Sheffield City, "Give my congratulations to Aunt Foster."
"She doesn’t like to hear your congratulations," Chloe glanced at him, "What did you say to them last time?"
Len Hawthorne paused, narrowed his eyes, then laughed, "So Little Chloe knows."
"Yeah."
"I didn’t say much, just that it had to be Little Chloe."
"No wonder they arranged a blind date for me."
"A blind date!" Len Hawthorne frowned, "You’re still young, and they’ve already arranged a blind date for you. What are they thinking?"
"They have high hopes for Austin," Chloe pursed her lips, suppressing the emerging smile.
Len Hawthorne was annoyed, "They’re really brave to think of Austin. Am I that bad?"
"Not bad," Chloe said, her hands in her pockets and her eyes sweeping over him, "To me, you’re pretty good."
Len Hawthorne grinned, his eyes gazing deeply at the girl: "Wait two more days, and that guy will be exposed."
"There’s no need to startle the snake for now. Let him catch his breath," and find a way to kill him directly before taking action.
So as not to perpetually move it around.
Len reached out and patted her head: "I’ll listen to you."

After the Crowley family buried Carter, the mood remained low.
The Research Institute cleared out the Seventh Research Room, removing many strange devices, all of which ended up in the hands of Matthew Patterson from the Aerospace Institute.
Even the Crowley family couldn’t get the devices Carter had made.
For Tim and Hazel, the devices their son left behind represented the only ideals he clung to.
One day, with the help of these devices, they could make a name for the whole world.
But now, both the person and the things Carter left behind are gone.
Ivy tearfully entered the Research Institute to clean up Carter’s belongings, accompanied by Morgan.
Morgan looked at the things Carter left behind, his expression complex.
He had no idea that Carter had done so much behind everyone’s back.
All of a sudden, he felt that Chloe not dealing with the Crowley family on the spot at the Godfrey family banquet was kind already.
"Elder brother, Carter is gone like that, and it must have something to do with Chloe. The Godfrey family values her so much that they surely want her to marry Austin."
"Austin?" Morgan frowned, "Chloe’s not in love with him. What are you talking about?"
"If it’s not the case, why would the Godfrey family put her on a pedestal? They spared no expense to invite upper-class people from all walks of life for her and even promoted her achievements worldwide. Do you know that people online are all discussing her now and calling her Stephens Godfrey? What’s so great about her? Can she make some robots and a few pills... It’s not worth it to hype it up like this."
"Slap."
Morgan slapped Ivy, leaving her stunned.
Morgan said coldly, "I never thought you’d become like this, look at your face, filled with envy and jealousy."
Ivy stared wide-eyed, unbelieving, "Elder brother, am I wrong? Maybe those robots on the surface were just bought with the Godfrey family’s money and power, and they were not her own creations at all..."
"Shut up," Morgan snapped, "You’re beyond help. I’ve long warned the family not to provoke Chloe any further, but you never listen. Do you want to end up like him, dying in obscurity?"
Ivy’s eyes bulged with indignation, "So you knew early on that they were going to hurt Carter, didn’t you!"
"No one hurt him, he brought it on himself."
"Elder brother, he’s your younger brother! He’s not a stranger. How can you be so unfeeling, watching him die without trying to help?" Ivy accused loudly.
Morgan slammed the things in his hands to the ground: "He’s long dead, and you don’t even understand what he did."
"He only did research work, nothing else, I won’t forgive those who caused his death, and you," Ivy threw down these words in grief and turned to run out.
As she left the Research Institute, a car stopped and a tall woman got out of it, smiling provocatively. Her smile was bewitching.
Ivy stopped and recognized her: "You’re Victoria Jefferson, the one who attended the Godfrey family banquet."
She remembered her as a first-line celebrity.
Victoria raised an eyebrow, smiled seductively, and pinched Ivy’s chin, leaning towards her, "Miss Crowley, do you want to take revenge for your brother? I can help you, as long as you submit to me!"
Ivy shivered under the eerie, seductive aura emanating from Victoria and sensed fear from her presence.
Suddenly.
Victoria came closer and licked Ivy’s chin.
This sensation made Ivy’s whole body shudder, struggling to back away, her face flushed with anger: "What are you doing?"
Victoria threw out a business card, "Think it over and come find me if you’re ready. I’ll be free to play this game with you anytime!"
She put on sunglasses and got back into the car.
Watching the car driving away, Ivy angrily threw the business card away, walked a few steps, then returned to pick it up.
As Ivy picked up the card again, the game had already begun!
