Chapter 500: Chapter 465: Nobody Should Say Anyone Looks Like a Woman (2nd Update)_2

A shiver ran down everyone’s spine at the sight of the man emanating ominous energy.

Who is this now?

Len Hawthorne gave a small click of his tongue and tossed aside the cigarette he was enjoying.

An eerie grin so chilling it seemed to radiate an icy desolation!

"I thought to myself, if I don’t step in now and kill off those Dark City dwellers skulking around the Watsons’ home, I’d regret it. I’d like to test if my fate can kill you off."

Blake Watson’s fingers clenched, causing sinister chuckles as he narrowed his ominous eyes. "You’re the most shameless person I’ve ever met."

"Takes one to know one."

"Len Hawthorne, don’t stick your nose in where it’s not needed. Your deadly energy won’t reach me," Blake lifted his slender hand. Perhaps it was because he seldom exposed his skin to sunlight, but his skin was much paler than others. Amidst his speech, his adam’s apple was distinctly visible, his voice wasn’t the least bit soft, but raunchy and captivating like a bass drum.

The grandiose, dark mask veiling his face added a mysterious allure.

The smile on Len’s face vanished as he teleported to the forefront, denying Blake a chance to kill the others.

"Boom!"

The violent clash of their strengths reverberated through the environment, causing a ringing buzz in the ears of anyone near them.

Blake fell back, eyeing Len.

Compared to Len, Blake, who had lived for a couple of centuries, failed to block that attack.

The extent of Len’s cultivation was indecipherable.

Neither Blake, Calvin Lawson, nor Allen Godfrey could decipher it.

However, from the moment he was born, they had been secretly observing him.

Unbeknownst to them, Len had grown to a formidable extent.

In the collision of the strong, those around couldn’t even approach them. The force of their collision left many dazed and disoriented, causing some to faint on the spot.

Alex Stephens took a deep breath and endured.

The distance of their battle grew further and further.

In an instant, they switched positions, destroying the surrounding houses within a few breaths. Everything in sight laid in ruins.

Len’s abilities had progressed incredibly, he was only two or three years older than Alex, but the gap between them was immense.

Alex Stephens knew that he was nothing more than a shrimp in front of these people.

With clenched fists, he watched the scene unfold, bolstering his determination to continue his training.

"Boom!"

An afterimage flashed across everyone’s sight.

When they looked up, they saw a youngster who had pinned Blake’s head down and ruthily smashed it into the black muddy ground. The impact cracked open the surface of the ground.

Len quickly retracted his lethal attack, charging aggressively in another direction, causing a large pit with his domineering force.

"Boom!"

Chloe Stephens raised her hand and took another strike at Blake’s head.

The first hit landed, the second missed.

Blake pulled himself free from Chloe’s grip, retreating several meters to a halt.

The three stood in a triangular position, creating a silence so intense that you could hear a pin drop.

Finally, Blake raised his hand, crushing the mask on his face. He revealed a stunning face. Without the obstruction of the mask, his sultry eyes were especially prominent.

His delicate yet masculine aura was extraordinary.

The man’s charm outshone the allure of spring blossoms and autumn moons!

Chloe Stephens pursed thin lips and, with indifferent and emotionless eyes, looked in his direction.

"Omimous."

As she muttered this, her aura changed drastically.

Len Hawthorne heard the youngster mutter the word and was taken aback.

Then he laughed, looking at Blake with derisive mockery. "That face of yours... it shouldn’t be unveiled. It is indeed ominous. If I didn’t know any better, I’d think you were a passionate woman."

Blake’s eyebrows twitched violently!

With a gloomy, dark look, he cast a gaze full of spite at Len. They were both similar, neither should call the other feminine.

"Boom!"

With a flick of her hand, Chloe lifted a giant rock from above and mercilessly cast it at Blake.

Blake raised his hand to shatter the rock but was reminded that the material in Dark City was unique. In addition, Chloe infused it with her strength, his single hit couldn’t smash it. Instead, he ended up looking disheveled and his face that was as clean as the autumn moon was broken!

Blood all too vividly slipped down his face, an alarming sight.

Len Hawthorne wasn’t laughing now.

Looking at the youngster, he twitched at the corner of his mouth.

That kid did it on purpose! Focusing attacks on the face!

Subconsciously touching his own face, Len started speculating the probability of him getting hit.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

The youngster’s ruthless attack method forced Blake to retreat step by step.

Len narrowed his dark pupils, focusing on the youngster who suddenly appeared.

"Boom!"

With a counterattack from the youngster, the two sides separated.

Chloe flicked off the dust on her body, looking emotionless toward Blake across her.

Blake’s face was so gloomy that it appeared to drip; he raised his sleeve to wipe off the blood on his face, fixing his stare onto Chloe: "Who are you?"

Len Hawthorne’s cultivation was already insane, but now, another youngster appeared out of nowhere, leaving Blake in such a disgraceful state.

Never in his life had Blake felt as infuriated as he felt today.

Len was also doubting Chloe’s identity, but seeing how embarrassed Blake was, he couldn’t help but mock: "What, can’t beat him? Want to dig up his background so you can attack him in the dark? Blake Watson, you’re an old man, aren’t you ashamed to bully a child?"

Blake, with a cold stare, glared at Chloe, ignoring Len.

Chloe glanced at Len.

Blake knew that he wouldn’t be able to deal with the Slaughter Squad today so he decided to retreat first.

Before leaving, he spat out ominous words at Chloe.

"No matter who you are, I’ll remember today’s affair."

Blake quickly retreated with his Watsons Family, nobody stopping him.

Len stifled his laughter, his expression solemn as he concentrated his gaze on Chloe, "Who are you?"

Chloe had changed her aura, even her appearance and voice, so it wasn’t surprising that Len couldn’t recognize her at first.

Chloe lingered on his face for a few seconds, then turned and walked towards Alex.

Len raised a brow.

What was that glance about just now!
