Chapter 368: Chapter 216 Scumbag by Nature
Chen Feng stood up with his phone, naturally walked up to this scumbag, and sat down opposite him amidst his surprised gaze.
Chen Feng extended his hand, smiled, and said, "Hello, nice to meet you. I’m Chen Feng, Fang Xiaoyue’s ex-boyfriend. How should I address you?"
The man was stunned for a moment before reacting and angrily said, "Are you stalking us?"
Chen Feng withdrew his hand and said casually, "Think whatever you want. But I didn’t expect you to be such a playboy, dating so many women at once. Can you handle it all?"
The man looked displeased, glaring menacingly at Chen Feng, "Watch your mouth, and you’d better not poke your nose where it doesn’t belong, or it’ll be bad for you."
Chen Feng also put away his smile, coldly saying, "After all, I know Xiao Yue, and I just stumbled upon this. Knowing you’re a scumbag, should I tell her the truth?"
"Heh, I advise you to mind your own business, or you’ll be in trouble," the man threatened again with a vicious glare.
Chen Feng crossed his arms and smiled, "Looks like you’re some kind of rich kid, but it’s unclear what kind. You even studied abroad in the Beautiful Country, heh, judging by your lack of manners, probably a diploma mill, right? Otherwise, why would you return home?"
"Are you looking for trouble? Believe it or not, one phone call from me and you’ll be limping," the man’s voice was cold, his eyes vicious. If he was confident about winning, he would have acted by now.
Chen Feng’s expression also turned cold, and he stared sharply at him, sneering, "Listen carefully, stay away from Fang Xiaoyue. Otherwise, I guarantee you’ll regret being born into this world."
Hearing Chen Feng’s bold words, the man instead laughed smugly, "You probably don’t know how I met Xiao Yue, right? Let me tell you, just a few days ago, I went to a bar with some friends to relax and drink, and she approached me. Then, guess what? We chatted for a while, had a few drinks, and then went to a hotel. Just like that, simple and easy. Who can resist my charm?
Mind you, it wasn’t me who made the first move; she kept hinting crazily, so I just went along with it and took her to a hotel. And she was something else. Usually, women I meet in bars, I just have fun with once or twice. But a nice girl like her, I’m interested in playing longer. No harm in playing, right?"
Chen Feng was speechless hearing this. If he were really Fang Xiaoyue’s ex-boyfriend, he’d probably be furious right now.
Luckily, Chen Feng wasn’t, and he had never had any romantic feelings for his old classmate Fang Xiaoyue, or he’d surely be enraged.
Seeing Chen Feng’s expressionless face, the man felt slightly disappointed and continued to provoke, "I quite like Xiao Yue; she’s got a good figure, nice skin, and, well, she’s got a plenty. She likes me even more, sending me WeChat messages every day, inviting me out several times. Today, I finally had time to meet her. If not for her work, we’d be at a hotel now. Buddy, I know you’re not over her. But I have to say, she’s wild; fun to play with, but falling for her would be stupid."
"Thanks for the tip." Chen Feng stood up, picked up the tea cup in front of him, and naturally splashed it over.
The scumbag didn’t expect Chen Feng to act so suddenly; caught off guard, the leftover tea from Fang Xiaoyue splashed right onto his face—refreshing.
He scrambled to his feet, rubbing the tea-soaked eyes, and when he looked up again, Chen Feng was long gone. He quickly turned towards the staircase, only catching a glimpse of Chen Feng’s fleeting figure.
"You damn well don’t run!"
The scumbag turned to chase, but stepped on a banana peel, gracefully falling face-first to the ground with a loud thud that sounded painful. A few other customers in nearby booths stood up, curiously and amusedly watching him.
Seeing someone so unlucky always brings joy.
The banana peel on the ground was from the fruit platter he ordered earlier, something he himself ate and placed on the table in front of him, likely knocked down when he scrambled to wipe his face.
You could say he’s really unlucky.
The scumbag’s fall wasn’t light; his mouth swelled, and a few teeth were loosened, bleeding a bit.
"Damn, damn, damn!"
The scumbag struggled to stand, swearing loudly, internally vowing to make this guy named Chen Feng pay.
He certainly wasn’t in the mood to drink tea anymore or chase after Chen Feng, because it was clearly too late for that.
He first went to the table to grab some tissues to wipe his collar, then headed to the restroom to tidy up in the mirror. He skillfully maneuvered to dry his soaking wet collar and chest with the wall-mounted hand dryer. Everyone knows these automatic dryers—blow for a bit, stop, then start again when you wave your hand.
After much repetition, he finally dried the water stains on his shirt collar and chest.
He was extremely concerned about his personal image and appearance, even had a touch of OCD.
Despite the hassle, he persisted for more than ten minutes to dry his clothes.
After tidying himself in the mirror, he finally exited the restroom, still maintaining his suave demeanor as he left the teahouse.
Sitting in his car, he immediately called a friend and honestly told him about being doused with tea by Chen Feng, asking for help in pulling the surveillance footage from the teahouse, especially the clip of Chen Feng splashing tea on him, intending to use it as evidence to sue Chen Feng.
Additionally, he asked his friend to check out Chen Feng’s background.
This friend had known him since childhood, living in the same neighborhood, their fathers good colleagues, so their bond was strong. His childhood friend readily agreed, promising once the investigation was done, he’d help vent his anger.
The scumbag had no objections to this, which was why he called. If Chen Feng had no backing, he could detain him and give him a taste of his fury in the detention center.
He cheerfully promised that after the situation was resolved, he’d treat him to a full-service at the club. His friend laughed and agreed.
After chatting a while longer, they hung up.
After the call, the scumbag felt slightly better and started his car to head home.
Having been splashed, with wet clothes, he obviously needed a shower and a change of clothes.
When he got home, after taking off his clothes, he noticed the skin around his chest and neck was red, like a skin infection, and itched upon touching. This probably resulted from the hand dryer at the teahouse. He didn’t mind much, took a nice shower, changed clothes, and applied an anti-itch cream to his chest and neck, which felt a bit more comfortable.
