Chapter 363: Chapter 363: Sang Siyang: I Don’t Distinguish
"Mmm-hmm-hmm," Si Tiantian nodded vigorously, gazing at her father with expectant eyes.
Si Chenli reached out and accepted the gift from his daughter, "I really like it."
Si Tiantian’s little face turned red with affirmation from her father, and she felt happy inside.
"I’ll just leave this here, I won’t bother you any longer," Sang Siyang, having seen enough of their family’s happiness, did not intend to shamelessly stay any longer.
As long as he knew that Qiaoqiao was living happily, that was enough; he wouldn’t pester her for forgiveness and add to her troubles.
"Is there food at home for you this late?" Sang Qiao looked up at Sang Siyang as he was about to leave.
Sang Siyang was somewhat taken aback upon hearing this, as it was the first time Qiaoqiao had shown concern for him, "It’s fine, I can order takeout or have the servants cook something."
"Stay and eat with us," Sang Qiao said indifferently, as if she had mentioned it casually.
"Okay," Sang Siyang was shocked, his entire heart wrapped in surprise. Qiaoqiao actually wanted him to stay for dinner...
"Uncle, I’ll help you peel shrimp later," Si Tiantian smiled and reached out to hold her uncle’s hand.
Uncle had helped her pick a gift today and even carried it back; she was really super grateful!
"Of course, thank you, Tiantian," Sang Siyang laughed out loud, the joy in his heart indescribable in words.
He followed his niece and took a seat next to her, watching the Si Family’s servants bustling around. Si Chenli and his family were enjoying a cheerful conversation—the whole house had a great atmosphere.
From time to time, the Si Family also chatted with him, but nobody paid him excessive attention. They treated him normally, as if... it was perfectly normal for Qiaoqiao’s brother to stay and have a meal.
Sang Siyang had never dared to hope for this day; he had only wished for Qiaoqiao’s well-being, which was enough.
But now... being able to sit at the same dining table, even if Qiaoqiao hadn’t forgiven him, it was enough.

By the time Sang Siyang returned to his villa, it was already late, but he could still see the lights on in the living room. He frowned, thinking that a servant had forgotten to turn them off.
Only when he entered did he find Fang Nianzhi asleep on the sofa, her face marked with red from the pressure.
Sang Siyang stopped beside the sofa, watching the woman deep in sleep and reached out to carry her upstairs. Before he could touch her, Fang Nianzhi suddenly rubbed her eyes and opened them.
"You’re back? I called you, but you didn’t answer; I thought something had happened."
Fang Nianzhi sat up, still sleepy, worried for a long time and even thought of going out to look for him when she suddenly realized she knew nothing about Sang Siyang.
She didn’t even know where this man could go besides the company.
"I had dinner at the Si Family’s place today; it took a bit longer. Next time, you don’t have to wait for me; just go to sleep," Sang Siyang couldn’t quite describe what he was feeling.
Although Fang Nianzhi hadn’t been a good wife and was more like a child needing his care,
many of her unintentional actions made him feel like he had a home too, a responsibility he needed to shoulder.
"Okay, I understand. I’ll go upstairs first," Fang Nianzhi nodded and planned to return to her room for a good night’s sleep.
"Mmm," Sang Siyang followed behind, their rooms just opposite each other.
That night, Sang Siyang was sleepless—not just because he was silently reveling in the joy of Qiaoqiao allowing him to stay for dinner but also... because of his relationship with Fang Nianzhi.
Initially, he had only wanted to secure the Sang Family through a marriage alliance and take good care of Qiaoqiao and her mother.
But now, Si Chenli had returned, and Si Jing was capable of handling matters on his own; Qiaoqiao no longer needed her little bit of help, yet he... did not want to divorce Nianzhi.
He even felt that it wouldn’t be bad to continue like this, and when he saw Tiantian, he would unconsciously think of the children he could have with Nianzhi.
Sang Siyang shook his head, forcing himself to straighten out his cluttered thoughts.
He needed to fall asleep as soon as possible, for he had matters to attend to at the company the next day.
The next day
Sang Siyang brought Fang Nianzhi back to the Sang Mansion to see their grandfather; the old man had been urging them to return for several days, and he would have been furious if they delayed any further.
Sang Mansion
"Grandfather, second brother." Sang Siyang walked ahead, his gaze falling on the two on the sofa.
Mr. Sang Senior, seeing the couple return, did not give Sang Siyang a friendly look.
Following closely behind, Fang Nianzhi said, "Grandfather, second brother."
"Nianzhi, I think about you coming back to visit every day. I’ve even raised some rabbits in the backyard for you, go see if you like them." Old Sang’s face instantly brightened upon seeing his granddaughter-in-law.
Sang Siyang tugged at the corner of his mouth and took a seat on a sofa, accustomed to his grandfather’s changing demeanor.
"Raising rabbits? I like it, I like it! Grandfather, then I’ll go take a look first."
Fang Nianzhi’s eyes lit up suddenly; she loved furry little animals the most, but she also knew her own laziness all too well.
She had always been afraid to raise them herself, fearing she might not take good care of them, so she enjoyed caressing those raised by others.
"Okay, just run slowly." Old Sang watched his granddaughter-in-law jog away, his eyes full of affection.
Once Fang Nianzhi’s figure had disappeared completely, Old Sang turned his head to look at his fourth child.
"Siyang, tell me, what are you really thinking? You don’t have to think about hiding it from me; I know everything. For so many years, you two have always had separate rooms."
"I have no emotional foundation with her; I can’t hurt her any further." Sang Siyang admitted honestly.
The fact that they slept in separate rooms was bound to come to the old man’s knowledge sooner or later; he had always been clear about that, so when the moment arrived, he didn’t even attempt to make excuses.
"You are hurting her by doing this! You have wasted the prime years of a young girl."
Old Sang was furious, and had he foreseen this outcome, he would never have suggested their marriage, having delayed Nianzhi’s life for so many years.
Sang Siyang hung his head in silence, well aware of his guilt.
"If you really can’t bear to live properly with her, then just separate. Nianzhi is a likable child, beautiful too. It won’t be hard for her to remarry, and when the time comes, our Sang Family will also send a generous wedding gift."
Old Sang sighed, no longer hoping that their affection could develop over time.
His four children were all hard-hearted, and in this lifetime, it seemed only Qiaoqiao could soften them.
"I won’t separate." Sang Siyang’s eyes were slightly lowered, his mind in utter chaos.
"What do you want to do if you won’t separate, and you also don’t want to live well with her!" Old Sang glared at him, extremely displeased; no one in this house gave him peace of mind.
"I just won’t separate." Sang Siyang’s fingers involuntarily clenched into a fist.
His heart was in turmoil, and not even he knew what he truly wanted; he just knew he didn’t want to separate from Fang Nianzhi.
He had grown accustomed to returning home every day to days where he could see Nianzhi and felt joy when she would wait for him to come back with the lights on in the living room.
