Ye Li had just stepped out of the classroom when her cellphone rang.

Fu Yanci had sent a message, "I’m waiting for you at the East Gate."

She ran back to the dormitory to drop off her backpack and then sent a WeChat message to Lu Xiaoxiao, telling her to hasten to finish all the yogurt and fruit in the fridge over the weekend so she could bring back fresh ones.

When Ye Li arrived at the school gates, she saw the black Maybach at the usual spot.

Though she wasn’t guilty of anything, she still couldn’t help looking around for a long time.

Seeing that no one was paying attention to her, she jogged to the car.

"Why are you here? Aren’t you working this afternoon?"

Asking casually, Ye Li turned to check the empty backseat, "Where’s Brother Mu?"

Fu Yanci paused.

On Sunday evening, as soon as Ye Li had returned to school, Xiao Bao insisted he wanted to go back to the old house.
