Chapter 213: Chapter 213: Not Used to Chloe Being Gone 3

If there were a war between Chloe Grant and Matthew Morgan, the disparity in power would be absolute.

Matthew Morgan’s authority and awe-inspiring presence in Chloe Grant’s world were intense.

It had been accumulated over days, months, and years.

Now, Chloe Grant is angry with him, annoyed at him, hates him, but... she still fears him.

"Get in the car." Matthew Morgan didn’t answer her question and instead calmly commanded two words.

Chloe Grant bit her lip, feeling extremely displeased!

"Can you stop pretending like nothing happened?" She could not bear it any longer and questioned, but then laughed, "Fine, I can’t provoke you, but I can avoid you! Anyway, in a few days, I’m going to my parents’ place, and then I’ll avoid you as far as I can!"

Chloe Grant gritted her teeth, went to the back seat, and forcibly took out her luggage.

"I can go by myself, I don’t need you to take me."

"You want to go to your parents’ place?" Matthew Morgan stepped forward, gripping Chloe Grant’s wrist as she tried to drag her luggage.

His face was a bit somber.

"Yes! Long-term, not coming back." Chloe Grant replied.

Matthew Morgan frowned, "The broadcasting major is not very good there, and your language skills are insufficient. If you go abroad now, learning the language and finding a school will all be your own responsibility, it will be very tough for you."

Chloe Grant’s parents weren’t highly educated, they simply run a shop abroad, doing the most humble work.

Unlike the business in the domestic market, with its evening entertainments or scheming.

But because of this, Chloe Grant’s parents’ social connections are limited.

The education level in that country is also not as high as in the domestic area.

As soon as Chloe Grant goes there, she will suffer.

"I know!" Chloe Grant answered loudly, trying to break free from Matthew Morgan’s grip, but couldn’t.

Out of fury, she finally gave up!

"I want to be with my parents! Ever since I was born, except for those first few years, I was brought back to start kindergarten, studying with my grandparents; my parents didn’t even pick me up from school, there’s a gap in my heart!"

She spoke with seeming righteousness, but this was only half the reason for leaving.

The crucial years when she needed her parents have passed, and though there is regret and a void in her heart, it’s no longer an urgent issue to recklessly abandon everything to find her parents.

This is merely... Chloe Grant’s fallback choice.

"You’re lying!" Matthew Morgan pierced through her words, pulling her back and forcefully shutting the trunk door.

"Chloe Grant, this matter...I don’t allow it."

Matthew Morgan pulled Chloe Grant into the passenger seat, pushing her inside.

As he bent to fasten her seatbelt, Chloe Grant suddenly grabbed his wrist, "I’ve already decided! I didn’t come to ask for your opinion!"

Matthew Morgan turned his head, his gaze sharp, "I said, no."

His attitude was extremely overbearing and domineering!

Chloe Grant fumed, "You’re just my uncle in name, what right do you have to decide my life like this! What exactly am I to you in your eyes?"

By the time she reached the last sentence, Chloe Grant’s eyes had already turned red.

Matthew Morgan was somewhat moved, but his stance remained unchanged, "Stay in the country, focus on your studies, that’s the only thing you should be thinking about right now, don’t think about anything else."

He fastened the seatbelt and moved back out of the car.

Chloe Grant stared unfocusedly at a certain direction, her gums clenching so tightly that her jaw was extremely tense.

She was desperately suppressing her emotions! And keeping her tears from falling!
