Chapter 340: 162 True Man Battle 3

"As soon as I start, start the live stream for me... Learn from the White Ghost that’s been all the rage these days."

"My lord, are we really going to war with the Mensa family?"

"Did you hear what I said?"

"Yes, I did."

Yang Ming waved his hand, "Go do it, make it look good. If you succeed, Edwan will promote and give you a raise. If you mess it up, you’ll face a demotion and a pay cut."

The diplomat perked up, "I will follow you into battle!"

Yang Ming patted the diplomat’s arm, turned, and continued staring at the majestic manor below.

The transport ship received a response from the other side and, following the guidance of the ground watchtower, headed toward the hillside on the periphery of the manor.

Half an hour later, the transport ship landed smoothly.

Lady Mag, sitting inside a Foreign Affairs Bureau ship, watched the projection screen before her. Initially feeling troubled, she calculated the possible outcomes of the situation’s progression and suddenly realized...

The duel approach was actually quite clever.

It maintained honor and expressed both sides’ unyielding spirit for their respective positions. Even if it resulted in loss of life, within the cultural atmosphere of the Empire, both sides would be seen as brave warriors.

The noble class wouldn’t be offended by Wind, and the common people would eagerly discuss the passionate violence.

The incident of Princess Dana almost being humiliated would also fade away as the duel concluded.

Moreover, Dana’s true identity would remain undisclosed.

That Earl’s grandson dared to threaten in Dana’s name... Indeed, Earl Mensa hadn’t taken her repeated cautions seriously. This family ought to trim their arrogance.

Lady Mag’s gaze turned somewhat fierce momentarily before returning to normal as she continued staring at the projection screen.

From an overhead view, it could be seen easily:

Most of the living inhabitants within Earl Mensa’s manor had mobilized.

Earl Mensa did not appear, but over twenty middle-aged and young men in military uniforms, along with over a hundred burly, fully armed guards, stood at the top of the hillside.

Soon, Yang Ming’s head appeared in their line of sight, followed by his tall, lean, and sturdy physique.

No weapons, no firearms, and no protection devices.

The leader of the Mensa family, a middle-aged officer upon seeing this, handed the laser pistol, the light sword, and the protection shield to those beside him, unbuttoned his own collar, and confronted Yang Ming head-on.

Behind Yang Ming appeared over sixty barehanded Wind soldiers.

The Mensa family members immediately imitated the officer, passing their equipment to those behind them and heading straight down.

Twenty-plus officers, forty guards.

The Mensa family mobilized the same number as the Luofeng Empire.

Secretly watching all this, Earl Mensa issued a command; those holding equipment swiftly retreated, and the entire manor disarmed all military equipment to prevent any ’accidental injuries.’

The Luofeng Empire’s Foreign Ministry started the live broadcast.

Yang Ming and the representative from Earl Mensa’s house began a simple and rushed exchange:

"You have insulted the nation of Wind!"

"You have insulted the Mensa family!"

"I, an honorary Earl of the Luofeng Empire, challenge your Mensa family to a duel!"

"I accept your duel for my brother right here. Let’s resolve this issue like men!"

"I mean," Yang Ming slightly raised his head, "I challenge your family! All the men of the Mensa family come out and face me!"

A group of Wind soldiers behind him shouted aloud, "Mensa men, come out and duel!"

The middle-aged officer, filled with anger, swung his forty-year-old fist directly at Yang Ming’s head.

Yang Ming raised his arm to block the attack, stumbling back half a step, then immediately swung a sweeping kick, too lightly controlled, so the opponent leaned back and dodged it.

But before Yang Ming could regain his footing, he leaped forward, grabbed the officer’s belt, and pulled back fiercely, slamming him heavily to the ground, then straddling him and threw a series of military-style punches.

Several young members of the Mensa family rushed in.

Yang Ming punched the man below him unconscious, single-handedly withstood the encirclement, hugged a young man’s waist directly, and slammed him down.

It was unclear who yelled out.

The Luofeng Empire’s Guard Army charged forward, while the Mensa family members and their guards pounced downward.

In the Foreign Affairs Bureau’s hovering spacecraft in space, Lady Mag’s eyes sparkled as she watched the overhead view of the passionate melee on the hillside.

"That officer named Yang Ming is impressive."

Lady Mag took a sip of calming tea and let out a joyful laugh.

Three to four Galaxy Time later.

The noble court ship of the Empire slowly departed from the administrative star on the periphery of Earl Mensa’s territory, heading to the next space area needing to mediate noble conflicts.

The entourage from Wind, including Princess Dana’s family visit team and the later arriving diplomatic mission, gathered without exception in the transport ship sent by Wind.

Princess Dana, Emilia, and the few maids boarded the boat and entered the transport ship’s aft compartment.

They were unaware of what had happened; previously, all communication devices had been confiscated, only suddenly receiving notification that the issue was resolved, they were released without charges, and then boarded this small boat heading to the space port.

Princess Dana was exceedingly fearful along the way.

She feared her superiors might abandon her, worried this small ship might be rigged with a bomb...

She had come to terms with such an outcome, but Emilia was still very young.

But nothing happened, the journey back was so peaceful it felt like a dream to Princess Dana.

The small boat sailed into the aft compartment, entered the gas isolation membrane, and the wing doors opened slowly.

Princess Dana took several deep breaths, pressed down her chaotic thoughts, and nearby Emilia’s cheers came through.

"Bounty Hunters! What are you doing here!"

Major Yang Ming!

Princess Dana lowered her head, rushed to the bottom of the wing door, and looked up to see two rows of figures standing in front.

"Salute!"

A group of bruised and bandaged Royal Guard Army members saluted Princess Dana in unison with the imperial salute.

Yang Ming was at the very front, with his right arm in a sling and a faint smile at the corner of his lips.

"What happened to you all?" Princess Dana asked softly.

"The Mensa family got the punishment they deserved," Yang Ming said nonchalantly, "as long as you are a Princess of the Empire, the Guard Army will not allow you to suffer any humiliation."

Yang Ming glanced at Emilia, who appeared somewhat anxious, and lightly winked.

"You did well this time, I’ll teach you light sword techniques when we return."

Emilia displayed a graceful and sweet smile.

"And..."

The ship was also territory.

"Welcome home, Princess and Her Highness."

Princess Dana was stunned for a moment, her eyes inexplicably a little red, but she immediately held it back and returned the salute to Yang Ming with her hand over her chest.
