Chapter 637: Chapter 36 Immortal’s Treasure, Internal Auction_3
"250 points once, twice, three times, sold."
Luckily Hong Fu Qitian did not continue to bid against him, otherwise it might have taken 350 points to secure it.
With the remaining 150 points, he could at least exchange them for some silver.
Having acquired the Dragon Ball he had been longing for, Xiao Jie was quite excited; consuming it would likely grant at least ten thousand Spiritual Energy Value, easily achieving Golden Core Perfection, no, he might even ascend to the Transcendent realm directly, considering he is only a thousand or so Spiritual Energy Value away from Golden Core Perfection, and it’s only 9000 Spiritual Energy Value from Golden to Transcendent.
He wouldn’t eat this thing unless he was ready to attack the Red Dust; for now, it had to serve as equipment.
"The fourth item, Dragon Bone Staff, starting at 50 points."
"All-in! 198!" Hao Mie declared without hesitation.
Everyone realized that this person was intent on stirring up trouble.
"200 points!" Hong Fu Qitian raised the bid.
Again, no one competed, and Hong Fu Qitian acquired the Dragon Bone Staff for 200 points.
Xiao Jie slightly frowned, now there were still four treasures remaining, and among the higher-ups of Longteng, there were Longteng Sihai, Little Dragon Shrimp, Dragon’s Illusion – three who dominate, meaning at most only one item could slip through.
The last one would definitely be for Hao Mie, but likely the least desirable one.
He really had no way to counter his strategy, but after all, Hao Mie was brought into the guild by him, akin to his own camp; he had to show some gesture.
Hidden Moon Following Wind: "Hao Mie, what do you want? I could communicate with the guild leader on your behalf."
Hao Mie paused for a moment, then relaxed a bit.
Hao Mie: "Dragon Bone Jade."
Hidden Moon Following Wind: "Guild leader, could we let my friend have the Dragon Bone Jade?"
Long Xingtianxia hesitated for a moment; Dragon Scale Armor is a Top-Grade Equipment for Generals, Hidden Mysterious Ice Book is a Top-Grade Item for a Magic profession, and Dragon Blood Essence can be used to spawn a Legendary Mount, also a Top-Grade for Generals. By that calculation, Dragon Bone Jade is the least useful.
But the matter shouldn’t be seen only from what’s needed; Dragon Bone Jade is an advanced tool for Legendary professions.
The strength of a Legendary profession is evident just by looking at Hidden Moon Following Wind’s abilities.
If looked at solely by value, Dragon Bone Jade would not have been missed, but after a moment’s hesitation, Long Xingtianxia still gave Xiao Jie a definite reply.
Long Xingtianxia: "Yes."
Hidden Moon Following Wind: "Thank you, guild leader, for your generosity."
Long Xingtianxia: "No need to be so formal, we’re all brothers in the guild, there’s no need to be so clear-cut."
It was partly to maintain Xiao Jie’s honor and also to try to retain a capable person; Hao Mie dared to take the front row, also a rare talent.
The rest of the auction went unsurprisingly.
Dragon Scale Armor was acquired by Longteng Sihai for 200 points.
Hidden Mysterious Ice Book went to Little Dragon Shrimp for 200 points.
This batch of dragon-themed members had no intention of outbidding each other, with surplus points, they could get whatever they wanted, but even without ongoing bidding, all three completed the transaction with 200 points without excessively lowering the price.
"Dragon Bone Jade: starting at 50, bid if you want it."
"All-in, 198 points!" Finally, Hao Mie made his move again.
This time, no one else raised the bid.
"Sold, Hao Mie, it’s yours."
Hao Mie finally breathed a sigh of relief.
Martial Saint is already the ultimate profession in Martial Arts; if he levels up to 40, he could only have a secondary job, though picking a Magic profession could be considered acceptable.
But it would only be the icing on the cake; to advance further, a stronger profession is imperative, and Dragon Slayer is currently the most suitable choice.
He had thought he wouldn’t get it, as in a big guild, good items are definitely prioritized internally, most likely leaving the worst for him.
Thankfully, his brother stood reliable; he gratefully glanced at Hidden Moon Following Wind, yet didn’t say much.
Some things can be dismissed with a ’thank you’, while some things need not be overly articulated.
The last item, Dragon Blood Essence, naturally went without suspense. It was taken by Dragon’s Illusion for 200 points.
"Don’t worry about unused points; this time the White Dragon dropped so much material, our guild’s craftsmen will use them to craft a batch of equipment. Those with surplus points can consider purchasing. Those with fewer points can also buy equipment, elixirs, talismans, and other items within the guild, or directly exchange them for silver, two taels per point, until it runs out."
"Alright, time is pressing, I won’t keep you from your enlightenment."
Long Xingtianxia concluded the speech, but no one uttered a word, everyone was busy with their enlightenment.
Xiao Jie also settled his emotions and approached the stele of Martial Arts Extreme Intent Scripture; he too needed some serious contemplation.
