Chapter 923 - 923 73 The Realm of Thousand Stars A New 5600_3
923: Chapter 73 The Realm of Thousand Stars, A New Chapter (5600)_3 923: Chapter 73 The Realm of Thousand Stars, A New Chapter (5600)_3 Yes, the ‘Spark Civilization Protection Protocol’ within the Silver Chip also indirectly suggests that the creators’ civilization is a rather mild one, taking it as its duty to protect all forms of civilizations…
However, the fact that True Dragons, beings that alone can possess the entire military might of a civilization, are deployed to every observed civilization…indicates that True Dragons inherently have some sort of duty related to the use of ‘force’.
This duty, is it to represent the local civilization in combating extraterrestrial invaders, or as the extraterrestrial invaders themselves to suppress some ‘erroneous’ civilizations, such as the ‘barbarous and bloody’ Swarm and the ‘pest’ Void Spawn marked in the Silver Chip… This is still unclear.
But on Terra, these ‘duties’ are probably useless now.
In theory, a Fifth Energy Level True Dragon can indeed accomplish this, and even most civilizations that haven’t truly ventured into space might not be able to withstand a Fifth Energy Level True Dragon.
But Terra is too special… Not to mention the number of Fifth Energy Levels, the Sparks are also terrifyingly numerous.
Hence, the True Dragon’s faction, ‘Dragon Island,’ probably has no idea what to do, they wouldn’t even know where to start if they wanted to reclaim them, they can only sign agreements with the Terra Nations, and then…
And then just muddle through like this.
Only a few True Dragons, due to their own reasons, still roam the land—but They too have gradually forgotten the duties of the previous generations of True Dragons and have slowly become a part of this land.
As for the ‘Slumber Dragon Nest’ base, where the Quenched Steel Dragon was born, located at the edge of Terra…
If the conditions are right, possessing the strength of the Fourth and Fifth Energy Levels, Ian would definitely want to go there.
There must be a considerable amount of information about True Dragons and the Creators there.
“I am gradually approaching the truth.”
Sitting up, Ian lowered his head, gazing at the Mark on the back of his right hand: “The Calamity of Heavenly Fall, the Skyfall Spaceship, True Dragons and Creators’ civilization, and the Star Prison Tianyu—beyond the current plight of Terra civilization, there are also the origins of all these disasters.”
“Without understanding the origin, even if I lead everyone into space once more, they could knock us back to the ground anytime they want, just like they could before.”
“Just like… the civilizations of the pre-era.”
The harvest from the Iron Dragon Nest was enormous.
Standing up, Ian prepared to leave the Iron Dragon Nest.
There’s a lot to do next; after sorting out the clues in Solstana’s memories, he’s ready to return to Xiawei Territory to wrap up this ‘Imperial Mountaineers Rebellion’… or one might say, ‘The Yasteel Mountain Defensive Battle’.
Letting out a breath, Ian turned around, looking back at the Spark that was burning silently behind him.
All of Starna civilization was there.
It was sent out by a civilization in despair, wandering the stars, then found by the True Dragons, stored within the Cradle, waiting for slumber and revival.
And then, after a major upheaval, it became the foundation stone for the birth of a True Dragon.
Now, it still rests quietly in the Dragon Nest, waiting for revival and complete tranquility.
This tombstone… or perhaps, a Spark of revival.
In the long passage of time, it awaits its ultimate end.
But that is not an issue of the present.
Ian no longer watched the ‘past.’ He leaped into the air, leaving the Iron Dragon Nest.
Outside the Dragon Nest.
Elder Mantle saw a white figure fly out from the Cloud Gate, tracing an arc, arriving beside him.
“How did it go?” he asked.
And the young man raised his right hand, showing the Crown Mark that had gradually faded away, but if needed, could reappear at any time.
The old man broke into a smile.
Minutes later, a dragon shadow descended from the sky, followed by another even larger dragon shadow.
Sio and the King of the Mountain arrived.
Ian climbed onto Sio’s back, the King of the Mountain exchanged a glance with Elder Mantle, the man and the dragon nodded slightly to each other, and then took Ian toward Dawnshimmer Domain.
[When there’s an opportunity next time]
Before takeoff, the King of the Mountain turned to Ian and said, [You’ll need to find time to go to Dragon Island—now that you are the rightful successor to the Quenched Steel Dragon Solstina, you’ll need to go through the relevant procedures.]
“No problem,” Ian nodded, “That works out well… I’m quite curious about Dragon Island too.”
The dragon’s silhouette cut through the sky, as if scissors slicing through layers of clouds.
——Solitary Flame Peak Gorge Mouth.
Roland was surveying the terrain of the future Alchemy Industrial Park with several of his Dwarven brothers at the flatlands of the Gorge Mouth.
But suddenly, with a sense of something amiss, he raised his head to look at the sky.
He saw the shadow of a True Dragon winging over the mountain peaks, a visible flow of light crisscrossing the sky amidst the gleaming aura.
“Wow.”
With one exclamation, the Mechanical Engineer recognized the shadow left by Sio and naturally knew that the larger dragon shadow belonged to the ally of their own Lord, the King of the Mountain.
According to recent news, he was clear about one thing—The King of the Mountain and Sio’s arrival only signified one event.
It was that their Lord, having resolved all affairs, was about to return to his own territory!
Gazing at the dragon shadow, Roland envied, “I wonder when I will be able to fly that fast…”
“Airplanes aren’t hard to make.” A Dwarven brother muttered beside him, sounding quite satisfied, “But riding dragons, that’s a rare thing—Roland, your Lord’s pretty impressive, seems like you weren’t bluffing us.”
“Of course!” With a pat on his chest, Roland boasted, “When have I ever lied to my own people?
This is definitely a great place; we can break free from our teachers’ rules and make a clean sweep!”
“Come on, let’s continue!
Let’s aim to have all the terrain of the Gorge Mouth area planned and arranged before next summer!”
——Dawnshimmer Domain.
Scott was discussing the upcoming financial allocations with Old Farrel in the city hall.
Recently, there were too many places within the territory that needed funding, whether it was the budgets for various new buildings or the overall urban infrastructure and follow-up expansions.
Also, during the grain disaster period, the import of grains from outside must not fall short.
The planting fields of Dawnshimmer Domain were mainly various cash crops, with scattered farming lands, so self-sufficiency in grain was not possible with such topography.
However, if one considered the Midra Autonomous Region’s river valley plains, a future could be envisioned.
But envisioning the future also cost money; the two were discussing whether to allocate a scouting team to stake out a piece of land in the Midra Autonomous Region…and naturally, such decisions would have to be made by the Lord.
Right at that moment, both of them also sensed the subtle oppressive feeling that was approaching.
They stepped out of the city hall, looked towards the sky, and then saw two dragon shadows, one large and one small, descending from the heavens and landing beside a sea of flowers on the edge of the city.
“It seems the Lord has returned.”
Scott showed a smile, for in recent times, due to the overwhelming victory of the Imperial Mountaineers and the variety of triumphs achieved by their Lord as the Dragon God’s Emissary, the atmosphere throughout Dawnshimmer Domain had been quite fervent—many people knew their Lord was strong, but they had not foreseen being strong to this extent.
In Terra, having a powerful Lord was something everyone wished for, and with the succession of victories, Scott had quite a lot on his plate.
Moreover, many trade guilds dealing with the territory were even willing to offer discounts and willing to engage in long-term extensive collaborations with Dawnshimmer Domain.
As opposed to Scott’s simplistic mood, Old Farrel simply fell silent, gazing at the white shadow separating from the dragon shadow, landing on its own.
If everyone else was merely joyful and expectant about having a strong and talented Lord for their own benefit,
What the old man felt in his heart was pure hope.
A kind of ‘unimaginable event’ had become a reality—a delightful surprise.
True Dragons, Mountain People, and The Empire’s backdrop…the problems that had entangled Leyan Territory for countless years and generations of Lords, were all resolved in a few short months by this young White Folks Lord.
Now, with the support of Marquis Barton and the background of The Empire, Ian had also gained the highest authority from the Dragon Worship Cult and the Mountain People.
He will no longer face any obstacles and will be free to do whatever he desires.
The prosperity of Dawnshimmer Domain is a foregone conclusion—this place will become a great city, one that will make its name known throughout South Ridge and even The Empire!
And in the future…
“Maybe…
I can learn the true nature of the stars’ obscurity here.”
Gazing at the descending dragon shadow, the old man murmured to himself: “Perhaps, all these long years of perseverance…”
“Decades of endurance…
were just to await his arrival.”
“Were just to wait for this hope…”
Terra Year 774, January 1st.
The first day of the brand new year.
The Lord of Dawnshimmer Domain, Ian Silverpeak, returned to his own territory.
This ancient land is about to embark on an entirely new chapter.
