Then, the old priest stood up, as always saying: “Dismissed, clean up the bowls, and then go rest.”

“Kebo, Harry, wait for me at the door.”

As the children responded in unison, the old man got up and walked to his own room.

There, he took out a map and marked all the important information he knew in detail.

“These are the things,” the priest put down the pen tiredly, “Recently, several tribes’ armed forces have been completely depleted in battles, the Jiamu Sect has absorbed all their population and land, and started to construct many strange buildings—I suspect they are Alchemy Workshops, but I do not know exactly what kind of Alchemy Workshops they are.

Many people have been summoned for hard labor, of course, all from other tribes.”

“Be wary of the Jiamu Sect, their strength is formidable, and their firepower is intense.

Without a substantial amount of siege equipment, it’s impossible to pose any threat to them, but… During the meeting not long ago, I visited their grand hall.

The Jiamu Sect’s Sacrificial Grand Hall is built halfway up the mountain, and due to the several major storms over these twenty years, the pillars of the hall are dangerously unstable.”

“Just a slightly bigger tremor at the rock platform to the southeast might cause it to collapse, drawing the attention of the majority.”

“That’s it, all the information I know is here.

I only have a rough idea of their firepower distribution, after all, I never planned on attacking them…”

The old man’s voice carried a sigh, and seemed somewhat satisfied.

“That’s enough.”

“You guys head to Xia Hui Territory,” said the young White Folks gently.

“Later, a troop will arrive in the surrounding area.

They will clear out nearby scouts and bring the first batch of food—after eating, you take the children to the Xia Hui Territory.”

“Though that place is not exactly peaceful either.”

“But, at the very least, it can ensure everyone is well-fed.”

The Lord of Xia Hui Territory picked up the map, he left his symbol, a badge bearing the Silver Peak Crest.

He had never doubted any word from Priest Fiotto; he knew there were no lies, so he turned and left without hesitation.

Eat well.

Only with a full stomach can one afford to think about other matters.

The vast majority of progress and changes occur under circumstances where people can eat well and struggle to maintain that.

Although Humans still kill each other and fight amongst themselves, if these conflicts cannot even ensure food, then these conflicts are utterly meaningless.

People need to be well-fed and hydrated, have their own homes, have their own dreams, to have the leisure to think about greater things.

To be able to let go of all doubts, to become who they wish to be.

And this is precisely what the youth wish to do.

Priest Fiotto gazed at the vanishing white figure in the distance, the generation’s Dragon God’s Emissary disappearing from his sight.

The two older children at the door looked around uncertainly, feeling a cool, refreshing breeze sweep past.

“Indeed.”

Gazing towards the drifting clouds and the shadows of mountains in the distance, the old man muttered to himself: “I still cannot give up that dream.”

—He still wanted to become the Dragon God’s Emissary.

He wanted to be the person who could bring happiness and smiles to his people.

He was old.

It might be impossible to achieve this with his own strength.

But he would still not give up trying.

“Let’s go, Kebo, Harry.”

Gently shaking his head, Priest Fiotto was not prepared to place all his hopes on the young man’s words about the supply of troops; he must rely on his own efforts to prepare tomorrow’s sustenance for the children.

“Yes, Grandpa Priest.” The older children replied.

At this very moment, their gaze towards the old man was filled with trust and longing.

They had not heard the story of the Dragon God’s Emissary.

But, if they had…

Then the Dragon God’s Emissary would not be greater, in their eyes, than the grandpa priest who had saved them from famine and death.

“The hearts of the Mountain People can be harnessed.”

Observing the survival status of the Mountain Tribe, Ian concluded: “Although they can’t help me create disturbances, if I can defeat the main forces of the Independent Villagers, then most small to medium-sized tribes would probably not resist me or the future leadership of The Empire.”

Ian did not take a long time to travel from Xiawei Territory to Midra Autonomous Region—just a quick flight, and delving deep into the region was a matter of moments.

But on reaching the edge of the autonomous region, he chose to walk slowly on land, not only to avoid detection but also to closely observe the current living conditions of most Independent Villagers.

The findings were quite poor.

“As long as I can guarantee the food supply of the Mountain People, they would support me.”

Ian thoughtfully added: “And…

an Alchemy Workshop?”

Ian was very interested in the Alchemy Workshop mentioned by Priest Fiotto.

Clearly, it was something entirely foreign to the Mountain People in the past; even with the support from Fiery Flame Land, it was impossible for tribes ignorant of modern Alchemical practices to directly develop a full Alchemical system.

Unless they were willing to pay a hefty price to transport an entire production line over.

But what was it that could make the Mountain People and Fiery Flame Land build several Alchemy Workshops for it?

Its value was definitely high, worth a look.

Ian was very curious.

Chonglin Tribe, originally located on the edge of Midra Autonomous Region, a bit further along the road and Ian arrived deep in the region.

From here, he could look out far across to the river area where Jiamu Sect was located.

The core area of Jiamu Sect was situated on a plain at the foot of mountain ridges deep in the mountains, and like most Mountain People, they worshipped the mountains; but with increasing population, Jiamu Sect also carved out a large plain under the mountains, with dense rock structures and fields along the flat riverside area.

Having found a small hill, standing at its summit, Ian looked towards Jiamu Sect and noticed that their fields had not been attacked by the biowar creatures of Fiery Flame Land; there was no trace of rot or withering.

— Goodness, it seems they had arranged this beforehand.

Ian thought that if he could find sufficient evidence, it would be enough to generate resentment towards Jiamu Sect and even the Independent Villagers Alliance among the largely neutral Mountain Tribes—after all, who isn’t starving these days?

Whoever remains uninvolved, becomes an enemy.

But the most important information was not this.

Ian narrowed his eyes, and he saw two gigantic figures on the sacrificial platform halfway up the mountain.

Those were two Sub-Dragons, appearing as if forged from iron, with blade-like wings and silvery-black scales, their sharp heads gleaming with four rainbow-reflective Magnetic Light dragon eyes; within the Silver Chip, a tangible magnetic field supported their movements.

The Iron Wing Dragon Flock had already reached the depths of the Bison Mountain Range.
