(5600) On the platform halfway up the mountain, Ian’s figure stood still, while at the same time, a murky light of aquamarine and red glimmered from the first gem on the right side of the Crown of Stars.

A warm and humid breeze, mixed with the scent of blood, rose behind him, forming a crimson vortex.

A vague claw reached out from it, silently pressing against the earth, as gentle as a caress.

But the moment it firmly stepped down, the razor-sharp claw shattered the rocks.

It was a Dragon Beast with a blurry figure, its exact appearance indiscernible.

It had limbs and wings, though the wings had degenerated into wing claws, serving as a flexible second pair of hands.

From afar, it resembled an insect with six limbs.

Atop the Dragon Head, the crimson eyes flickered like wavering flames, and its densely packed teeth slightly parted as if emitting a silent roar.

It walked out of the vortex, then lay prostrate before Ian, extremely submissive.

Yet, the pungent smell of blood and a terrifying sense of danger constantly informed those around — this was a war beast born for slaughter and bred for battle.

The scene was too grim and dreadful, making even Elder Mantle unconsciously tighten his grip on his stone staff, while the Heart Light Body Wind-Protecting Dragon cautiously circled him, forming a visible Gale Shield.

Had anyone other than Ian been in front of it, he would have attacked immediately.

“What is this?!”

Elder Mantle exclaimed in surprise, momentarily unable to determine the exact nature of the Exobeast Ian had summoned — wasn’t the Heart Light Body supposed to be the Star Crown?

How could there be a second form, and one so terrifying, in such stark contrast to the sacredness of the Crown of Stars…

Or perhaps, this was some kind of Sublimation Skill…

While Ian gazed at the Dragon Beast before him, suddenly the creature’s name surfaced in his mind.

[Crystallized Bloodhunter]

[Among the Seeker Swarm, spawned from the ‘Crystal Carpet’, a predatory crystal beast.

Its mission is to kill all food sources to hunt sufficient nutrients for the nurturing pool]

[Originally developed from the Cyan Armored Lizard with additional Sub-Dragon wings for basic flight abilities, but the results were less than ideal, thus it was transformed into a ground unit with excellent effectiveness.

The converted wing claws from Sub-Dragon wings possess great power, enough to tear through iron]

[…]

Ian’s mind was flooded with extensive data, thoroughly analyzing the creation and modification reasons for the Exobeast called ‘Bloodhunter’.

Clearly, this information originated from the ‘Star-Seeking Swarm’ transforming itself.

“Part of the knowledge of Dao Path of the Swarm…”

Ian murmured to himself and reached out to touch the blurry head of the Bloodhunter.

But his hand passed right through.

This was not a real Heart Light Body, but a phantom, only partially solid where the Origin Quality had accumulated, particularly at the claws, and was quite fragile.

Ian’s gesture stirred the entire figure of the Bloodhunter, causing it to ripple like a reflection in water, distorting the area around.

Yet even so, the phantom of the Bloodhunter did not flee but obediently remained prostrate.

A sense of mental connection spontaneously emerged.

—This was the ‘Swarm Spirit Network,’ sent along as an integrated feature.

Although the youth’s expression remained mostly unchanged, ripples were forming in his heart: “What is happening—Even if the Prophet can use the outcomes of experiments to judge and filter wrong choices to save time, it hasn’t reached the point where they can send me papers now, has it?”

“And this is no longer ‘a future me’, but rather a me from another timeline…”

“No, rather say…

Can Foresight View really be considered a normal ‘prophetic ability’?”

“Exactly!

This is clearly some sort of ability to communicate with parallel worlds!”

Upon this realization, Ian felt as though a long-closed door in his mind had been opened—Indeed, upon further thought, is Foresight View really predicting the future timelines?

Let alone how it’s accomplished, just looking at how Foresight View can almost provide real-time feedback on various ‘outcomes’ suggests it’s not particularly ‘prophetic’.

Predictions from prophets are mostly enigmatic or sometimes indirect signs, because the future is uncertain, and seeing just a corner does not guarantee certainty.

But if, Foresight View merely observed the outcomes of choices made by Ians in parallel worlds, and then relayed back the results…

Perhaps that’s more reasonable?

It’s observing outcomes, not Ian himself, which fits with the principle that prophets cannot predict their own future, and aligns with the real-time feedback capability of Foresight View.

And the reason why Foresight View has a prediction time limit is due to those parallel Ians not being much further ahead than the current Ian.

Beyond that, limited by Ian’s own abilities, Foresight View cannot see or find a suitable parallel world to observe.

Of course, there are still many inconsistencies here, like how exactly does Spirit Energy communicate with parallel worlds…

but those are minor issues.

Perhaps Spirit Energy inherently exists in the entire parallel space-time?

Origin Quality might be the same.

In any case, the most crucial aspect is the Path of the Dao.

Dao Path is clearly a complete world line, very long-developed, but its frequency distinctively does not match with Ian’s current time.

They are clearly not on the same frequency.

Thus, compared to the near future based on his current situation that Ian usually sees through Foresight View, [Path of the Dao] can only glimpse a corner under specific conditions and specific circumstances by leveraging some cause and effect.
