Chapter 753 - 753 15 Elemental Crystal Production Chain

753: Chapter 15 Elemental Crystal Production Chain 753: Chapter 15 Elemental Crystal Production Chain Special Envoy Graywen Eo of the Fiery Flame Land looked at the five tribal chieftains in the meeting room, whose postures varied, but overall showed impatience, and said in a straightforward tone, “Gentlemen, we must assemble our forces and clear the path from Solitary Flame Peak to the Leyan Territory.”

“The Empire has dispatched an elite force that has wiped out the warriors of the Mount Entrance Tribe and the Sturdy Valley Sect.

Even Martin Xuānfēng, who was competing with you for prominence among the Mountain People and critical of you, has fallen in battle.”

“This is bad news, but also good news—as long as you eliminate the current lord occupying Leyan Territory, that Ian from Harrison Port, whoever it is will gain the support of three tribes and will be able to claim the Holy Ground, rightfully becoming the undisputed leader of your ranks!”

“In addition, our forces will seize the latest mountain pass exit.

Our spearhead will reach the Agate Stone Plains, throwing those complacent Imperial People into a true panic!”

Without a doubt, what Special Envoy Graywen said was a sound argument, a strategic analysis made by the military department of the Fiery Flame Land in light of the situation in the Southern Ridge Area.

If it were up to the Fiery Flame Land alone, it would strike swiftly, and not even waiting several weeks before attacking Leyan Territory would seem strange; setting off now and arriving the day after tomorrow would not be surprising.

However, the problem with supporting a third-party force to trouble the enemy is that…

the third-party force has its own ideas.

“I heard there’s a flying Armor Suit in that place.

Are you asking us to go there to die?”

“Heh.

(Sneer)”

“I think it’s fine, but who will lead the charge?”

“Give us more support, ten more Alchemical Cannons—for even the Xuānfēng Sect has been defeated, without more firepower it will definitely be impossible to take it down.”

“Support me as the leader, and I’ll go.”

Special Envoy Graywen looked at the five chieftains of the Mountain Tribes in front of him with a headache.

These men of varied appearance fundamentally all demonstrated the ‘preserve strength, no benefits no cooperation’ attitude, which was truly causing him some stomach pains.

There were dozens of Rebel Highlander tribes in total, a considerable number of which did not even have a Sublimator, joining only because of severe poverty and famine in hopes of getting aid from the Fiery Flame Land.

Of the remaining tribes, there were seventeen with Sublimators and eleven at the Second Energy Level.

Most of these tribes have rebelled due to dissatisfaction with The Empire’s economic and technological policies imposed on the Mountain People and also believe that they can further enhance their tribal power with the help of the Fiery Flame Land.

Afterwards, whether co-opted by The Empire or by gathering the power of other surrounding tribes to once again unify the Mountain People, they could change the current stalemate.

The five individuals before Special Envoy Graywen were the chieftains of the core five of the Rebel Highlander tribes.

Jiamu Sect, Ronggang Tribe, Sheyan Tribe, Zhenzhou Tribe, and Tiechen Tribe.

Their strength was considerably good; each tribe had multiple Sublimators, fielding over two hundred trained hunters capable of using firearms and alchemy equipment skillfully, amounting to a force of over a thousand combined.

Together these five could rival the Redwood Natives at their zenith.

It might sound insignificant, almost like a village feud…

But let’s not forget, this was a town-level feud in a rural area— a thousand trained elite units familiar with the local terrain were no mean feat.

Even in an army of ten thousand, there might not be that many meeting the standards; a major city with a population of one million wouldn’t be able to muster this many trained soldiers without a regular militia training program.

And in the Southern Ridge, these units could form the core of a Mountain People army that numbered in the tens of thousands.

This was also the main force of the Rebel Highlanders.

But the problem was that these hunter troops were the precious ‘flesh and blood’ of the chieftains and the foundation of their authority and their contest for the position of ‘Chief Chairman of the Mountain Federation’!

So, not willing to make a move, they were reluctant to go after that hard nut to crack, Leyan City.

“Gentlemen, now is not the time to be sparing with your efforts!”

Special Envoy Graywen pleaded earnestly, “If we can’t threaten the Agate Stone Plains and cut off the trade routes between Harrison Port, Three Rivers City, and Nauman City, no matter how fiercely we fight, it will just be an internal scuffle, posing no threat to The Empire…

They can simply suppress the Iron Wing Dragon Flock and our reinforcements slowly with the support of the Dragon Worship Cult and then come to crush you easily!”

“We must make The Empire take this pressure seriously and divert part of their forces and attention; only then can our reinforcements unfold smoothly!”

“Heh,” Chief Sheyan sneered, “So you’re saying you just want us to be cannon fodder to facilitate your strategy?”

The chief with snake-like eyes stretched out his overly pale, slender hand, lazily stating, “That’s possible—but you have to pay for it.”

“Special Envoy, we’re well aware of the importance of taking Leyan Territory, but if you want my people to risk their lives…

there has to be a big reward!”

The other chieftains silently watched on, obviously agreeing with Chief Sheyan’s statement.

Suppressing his anger, Special Envoy Graywen forced a calm smile and said, “Of course, whether it’s Alchemical Cannons or Sublimator materials, it will take time to transport them…”

“No,” Ronggang Chieftain said, speaking less, “we don’t want cannons right now.”

“We want Armor Suits,” he said, spreading his five fingers.

“At least five Armor Suits.”

——You guys really know how to ask for the moon!

Special Envoy Graywen’s mouth twitched, and he took a deep breath, “That’s impossible—not to mention that transporting Armor Suits into another country is akin to declaring war…

you also don’t have anyone who can pilot them!”
