Chapter 690 - 690 621 I Understand 6400 2nd Update
690: Chapter 621 I Understand (6400, 2nd Update) 690: Chapter 621 I Understand (6400, 2nd Update) The Cyclops Giant, that was the name Ian had given to his first Armor Suit.
In line with his personal aesthetics, he preferred the name “General Multi-Purpose Mobile Armor Suit—Sniper Specialized No.
0 Experimental Model” for its clear meaning and rational classification; however, due to its lengthiness and the difficulty in articulation, he followed the usual practice and, like all pilots in Terra World, opted for a more colloquial name.
By dismantling and modifying multiple Armor Suits provided by the Firestone Group, Ian pieced together and patched up a design, extracting a variety of technologies from his own collection to forcefully assemble an experimental Armor Suit that matched his conception.
The multi-drug supply box, converted from firefighting Armor Suit components, could create an incredibly powerful ‘liquid light’—the so-called ‘Light Element Elixir’—by mixing drugs under ultra-high pressure.
Once placed under normal atmospheric pressure, this elixir would immediately sublime and transform into a solar gas emitting extreme heat and intense light.
This was the ‘Light Element Purification Elixir’ given to Ian by the Radiant Nun in the Subspace Labyrinth—he didn’t use this Cleric’s standard-issue Glorious Bullet but rather decomposed it in his lab and approximated a simplified formula which he then used to make special ammunition for a prism weapon.
The weapon module named ‘Prometheus Prism’ was actually a laser charging technology used in the Earth Federation of Ian’s previous life.
It could gather energy from the Solar Umbrella Sector around Mercury’s orbit, supplying power to other orbital space cities as super-high-energy lasers, a technology that was essentially pilfered from the heavens and bestowed upon Humans.
In other words, within a planetary atmosphere, this contraption doesn’t inflict much damage; its true utility lies in outer space.
But for now, it is entirely sufficient.
Using the Light Element Elixir to power the prismatic weapons and then unleashing high-energy light beams to destroy the enemy—this is the genuine ‘Charged Beam Rifle’ or ‘Charged Rifle,’ with enough might to obliterate a Fifth Generation Armor Suit in a single shot.
The issue, however, is that the light beam gun is most stable when its killing power isn’t very high, and during the highest power surge, the muzzle tends to shake excessively, causing the aim to veer off at longer distances.
This needs improvement until it’s possible to attack with the power surge at any time and place, which places significant demands on the materials and the pressure chamber.
And like all prism weapons, the destructive power of the beams diminishes substantially when there’s dust around or if Origin Quality scatters the light.
That being said, nothing is perfect, and the new weapon performed exceptionally well.
The only challenge—the high-quality prisms—were also provided by Yisen Gard.
The second technological breakthrough developed independently by Ian, the ‘Pseudo-Life Circuit’ that could amplify his personal abilities, felt somewhat like a success achieved through a misdirected effort.
His initial goal was actually to fulfill a commission by the Firestone Group, attempting to create a method that would allow Armor Suits to use elixirs more efficiently through a connection with Origin Quality.
This goal was indeed achieved.
The Origin Quality pipelines, made from various biological materials and spread throughout the Armor Suit in a certain pattern, could indeed simulate biological Origin Quality channels, allowing the Armor Suit to extend the effects of the elixirs through these fine but stable pathways by supplying energy to their Origin Structures.
This also incorporated some research experience from Yisen Gard.
The Ellen Family were experts in this field; their biological Armor Suits could even emulate human Origin Structures one hundred percent, but unfortunately, it was limited exclusively to the capabilities of Eclipsing Light Refining Dragon.
Halfway through the development, Ian discovered that the complexity of the Origin Quality pipeline didn’t necessarily increase its effectiveness; it could also serve as an amplifier to enhance Ian’s own abilities while acting as a power supply structure.
It sounds simple.
Ian also believed that within The Empire, there must be workshops and institutes researching similar technologies, and the Ellen Family was one of them.
But because it was simple, there was more potential, just like with alloy formulas.
A slight deviation in such detailed structural design could lead to vastly different outcomes, potentially leading down the wrong path.
Only someone like Ian, a Prophet, could reach an appropriate structure for himself so quickly after trial and error.
The observation system actually used a type of Spirit Observation Device from the Dead River Armament, directly connected to Ian’s soul, with very high sensitivity.
As for the Multi-Layer Composite Armor…
It was just an ordinary additional layer.
As long as the power unit could take the load and it could still fly, the more layers, the merrier.
The Cyclops Giant slowly descended from mid-air, marking the completion of both the trial and weapon tests.
In particular, the Prism Weapon System performed unexpectedly well.
Next, all that was needed was to modify the power system a bit and add some close combat weapons, and it would be a job well done.
Inside the cockpit, Ian let out a long sigh.
Behind his neck, three cable lines were flashing data streams, while the scenery was reflected in the inner sides of his pupils: “Talking about it, this place is rarely this lively.”
Of course, he knew he had become the focus of the entire testing ground.
Not to mention, his flying sniper performance was certainly dazzling.
As expected, soon after Ian concluded the test, a series of communication requests and messages came through on the regional channel.
Floating Spirit Workshop: [Brother, impressive performance!
That sequence of continuous shots was beautiful.
Do you have any assistive aiming devices?
Congratulations on the successful development either way!]
