546: Chapter 515 Fae Mo Feng and the Solitary Mountain Conference (2/3) 546: Chapter 515 Fae Mo Feng and the Solitary Mountain Conference (2/3) Triangle Tower District, one of the Lower City Districts ruled by the Xinbi’er Family.

This family was once a well-known Military Merit Nobility family in the Eastern Territory of the Empire, holding great authority in the vast plains region south of Icewind Valley.

In history, the Xinbi’er Family repelled the assaults of Azure Sky Royal Court’s Terrestrial Assault Fleet more than a dozen times, and, together with the Empire Group Army, they finally stopped them east of the mountain fortress, making them one of the illustrious Nobles with both meritorious achievements and military power.

However, even such a powerful local Noble had to give up its influence in the Eastern Border under the command of Protector Axer, who was already highly prestigious in the Eastern Territory, becoming one of the rulers of the Lower City District of the Imperial Capital.

In fact, this wasn’t a bad thing for them.

Triangle Tower is a super-giant Alchemy tower.

As a landmark of the area, it stands three hundred ninety-five meters tall and governs an area with a population exceeding one million.

It has over a dozen large Alchemy Workshops, production lines ranging from armored transport vehicles to military Armor Suits, and also boasts extremely developed alloy smelting plants.

Nearly all industrial Alchemy products of the Imperial Capital, including but not limited to farming machines, fertilizers, weed removers, communication equipment, and various Alchemy Machinery, are produced here.

Besides, some special Sublimation materials and massive processing factories for Sublimation Plants are also established in this area.

If the Xinbi’er Family were originally just country squires with a bit of military force in the Eastern Territory, they are now members of the core power circle of the Imperial Capital, wielding a power respected by any force in the world.

At least, for the Xinbi’er Family, who were already important allies of Axer, this move can be said to be a great bargain.

Ian walked along the streets of the Lower City District, where people bustled by.

Pedestrians walked along the sidewalks, and vehicles drove orderly on the sturdy roads.

Orderly, lively, brimming with vitality—the shops always had ample goods, and these products continuously sold out.

The patrolling guards did not extort the citizens, and the locals were hospitable, welcoming newcomers to settle in their passionate city and very willing to help with directions.

“No, thank you, I know the way.

Yes, I have just arrived recently, but I am familiar with the roads.”

Ian politely declined the enthusiastic offer of two ladies and a gentleman to guide him, feeling a touch of emotion at the friendliness of the residents of the Imperial Capital.

On his way back to the Central Urban District, Ian brought the gift he prepared for Morphia: “The South Sea Great Maze Chronicles” handwritten by himself.

From his observations, Ian was sure that Miss Morphia, the Wind Fairy, was very fond of such chronicles.

If they related to adventures involving the Labyrinth and various mysterious relics from ancient civilizations, that would be even better—his own adventures in the Southern Sea were precisely the type she enjoyed most.

Moreover, as a handwritten volume, it bore utmost sincerity as a gift, and the young man believed she would be absolutely delighted.

Imperial Capital Central Urban District, third level.

The third level at this time was shrouded in a hazy fog, a purifying measure to settle and adsorb dust and various potential toxic substances.

The misty moisture would gradually turn into a light rain, sliding down eaves and onto the ground, before seeping into the advanced water recycling system of the Central Urban District and after purification, into the natural waterways surrounding the Imperial Capital.

Following the address left by Hua’an, Ian quickly arrived at Morphia’s residence.

It was a Southern-style small building with a clay-red roof, quite tall, built upon a moisture-proof base, which in the Imperial Capital was merely a matter of the builder’s personal taste.

Its third floor, or rather the pointed top that was erected, housed a small library surrounded by transparent glass, where one could imagine its owner spending days reading and gazing at the scenery.

Beyond that, the front yard of the small building was planted with numerous weeds and wildflowers.

Indeed, weeds, carefully cultivated and fertilized, they were vigorous in vitality, blooming in a mix of colors.

Amid the weeds was placed an artificial beehive where many bees buzzed within the wildflower garden.

“It seems that this lovely Fairy Miss has a different understanding of natural landscapes.

But I must say, this is indeed the most natural way to plant—and certainly a carefree one,” Ian judged.

He wasn’t against weeds; he simply didn’t know whether he should stand at the doorway and shout ‘I’m here!’ or try and find where the doorbell was.

How exactly do Fae welcome their guests?

Apparently, it wasn’t necessary.

A bee from the beehive noticed Ian, circled around him, and the door of the small building opened.

Following the path concealed by leaves, Ian walked toward the building.

The door was already open, and he could even hear Hua’an’s voice saying she was coming to meet him.

But the one who came to open the door for him was another fairy.

—Oozing with the fragrance of books, purple ink water.

That was Ian’s first thought.

Warm hues of orange spilled out from the small building, flowing out of the door and illuminating the silhouette of the white-haired youth.

Floating in mid-air was a fairy maiden in a deep purple dress, her pitch-black eyes twinkling with curiosity as she nodded to him with a smile.

She had beautiful long purple hair, which on closer inspection, turned out to be some kind of fluid.

It was gently held up by the wind, flowing in the air, while her pitch-black pupils were like ink, bringing a faint ripple of ink color into the air.

No, not just that…

Her entire body, whether it was her slender wrists or pointed ears, the elegant dragonfly-shaped wings, or the wizard hat on her head, everything was made of a kind of fluid, mist, and wind!

—This fairy, could she actually be in the style of ink-water painting?!

Could there be abstract-style fairies in the future too?

Embrace Light above, it seemed not impossible…

Morphia, Morphia…

it really is about ink and wind…

“Meeting in the real world for the first time.” At this moment, Miss Morphia with the purple hair greeted him cheerfully; her tone was quite familiar, clearly for a fairy, there was no difference between the real world and the Domain of Void.

She already considered Ian a familiar acquaintance: “Come on in, Hua’an and Frost Butterfly are both waiting.”

“Yes…”

Taken aback by Morphia’s real-world artistic style, Ian stepped into the small building.

He then realized that this place was less of a dwelling and more of a small library shaped like a tiny building.

Books were everywhere on the four walls, all sorts of books and collections neatly arranged on their labeled shelves, with just a few leisure furnitures resembling water bags placed in the center.

Hua’an and Frost Butterfly were just coming down from the second floor: “Ian, you’ve arrived?” “Father Lord~”

They had obviously been chatting with Morphia before, as they flew over with leisure furnitures identical to those on the floor.

“This is a common gathering place for the fairies in the Imperial Capital, but usually I’m the one managing it.”

Morphia spoke softly, her voice as gentle as a breeze wafting the fragrance of flowers through the courtyard, while Ian also smiled and offered his prepared gift, which made the fairy miss exclaim in surprise: “Oh, this is…

a chronicle written by your own hand?”

“It’s about the Labyrinth exploration—I’ve been meaning to ask about this ever since I heard from Hua’an, but I didn’t expect you to actually write a book about it, this is wonderful!”

As it turned out, even a ‘book’ fairy like Morphia could be as lively as anyone else when happy.

As Morphia cheerfully retrieved a bag full of Human-sized water bag chairs from the basement, Ian and the other fairies settled down on these cool and soft chairs and begun to happily listen to the fairy misses’ leisurely afternoon chat, while leisurely taking a book out of Miss Morphia’s private collection to flip through.

Because of the delightfully well-received gift, Miss Morphia readily agreed to Ian’s request to borrow a book, even agreeing to let him take it home to read at his leisure.

While not necessary, he was indeed quite pleased.

A good gift can indeed make making friends twice as effective.

However, soon Ian would lift his head from the book, prompted by a key phrase, to listen to the fairies’ uninhibited conversation.

That key phrase was, naturally, ‘Solitary Mountain Conference’.
