Chapter 485 - 485 454 Lord Father 13
485: Chapter 454: Lord Father (1/3) 485: Chapter 454: Lord Father (1/3) Character Customization.
To be honest, it wasn’t an unfamiliar term; Ian often played video games in his previous life, and many games required character customization.
However, he wasn’t particularly enthusiastic about it; usually, he would let the camera scan his face, using either his own appearance or the default one to start the game.
But it seemed that Hua’an must be a Fae particularly passionate about ‘character customization; she clutched her armored clothing, her excitement and longing apparent.
“I don’t know what to do, Miss Hua’an.”
After a moment of thought, Ian candidly admitted his ignorance and asked for her help, “If it were up to me, I’d probably let the Frost Butterfly change at will, and then I’d just slightly adjust her appearance according to normal human standards… Yes, that’s pretty much it.”
He indeed thought so.
“How can you be so casual!”
Hua’an widened her eyes, seriously criticizing Ian: “Your approach is too uninspired.
Frost Butterfly’s own opinion is certainly very important, but couldn’t she just tweak it later after she develops her own sense of aesthetics?”
“Besides, a True Fairy’s appearance must be initially set by a ‘Senior.’ Even if changes are made later, that initial setting cannot be altered—it’s a sign of respect for the Senior and also for oneself…
Without the help of a Senior, how can a Little Fairy have a sense of self?”
“Is that how it works?”
It was an unexpected assertion that gave Ian pause.
Although he had learned about Fae society and their general way of thinking through various books, that was all from the perspective of Humans, from a somewhat ‘arrogant’ vantage point.
So, genuinely encountering a True Fairy, the boy still found himself somewhat unfamiliar with their culture.
Therefore, after giving it some thought, Ian decided, “If that’s the case, then let’s do it that way.
Miss Hua’an, if it weren’t for your Awakening Potion and the offered sublime materials, Frost Butterfly’s advancement wouldn’t be as perfect as it is now.”
“No one can dispute your contribution, so I’ve decided to invite you to join me in completing this final step for Frost Butterfly—you can also set a foundational layer for her.”
With that, he smiled invitingly, “Let’s work together to finalize the shaping of Frost Butterfly.”
“Really, can I?”
Upon hearing such an invitation, Hua’an was as startled as if an ordinary person had been touched by a hot coal and she stepped back—although Fae wouldn’t be burnt by mere coals, her surprise and joy were obvious: “If that’s what you wish… If both you and Frost Butterfly truly don’t mind, then I will gladly accept!”
Initially, she had only hoped to guide Ian in shaping Frost Butterfly, but Ian’s invitation was akin to sharing the rights of being Frost Butterfly’s ‘Senior/Elder.’
This was a very serious and solemn ceremony, so Hua’an was rallied with determination.
The fairy maiden lifted her hand, and her slender fingertips lit up with a dark golden radiance, the gleam of Spirit Energy shimmering.
“Come, use your Spirit Energy in harmony with mine.”
With a light emerging in her gem-like eyes, Hua’an’s voice turned ethereal: “Imagine your concept of ‘beauty’ and decide what ‘knowledge’ you wish to impart to Frost Butterfly—don’t give too much, as a Little Fairy cannot handle overly complex knowledge and would forget it even if you did share it.”
“I have a basic common knowledge supplement pack commonly used by Fae; you provide some common knowledge from human society!”
And Ian looked deeply at Hua’an before turning his gaze to Frost Butterfly, who was perfecting the details of her form.
“Alright.”
He responded simply, then activated Foresight View, attempting to stretch out his Soul Spirit’s energy, harmonizing with Hua’an, picturing in his mind the beauty he felt, and the knowledge he believed should be passed on to Frost Butterfly.
A deep blue mist emerged around Frost Butterfly, heralding a future filled with great success.
The aqua halo lit up at the fingertips of the young boy as he reached into the true pool, touching the body of the Frost Butterfly alongside the dark golden glow.
In an instant, a light burst from the Little Fairy’s body, refracting through the water to cast a pure, snow-like color.
This color swirled, eventually unfolding into an X-shaped pair of constantly rotating wings, and in the dazzling icy flame, a small anthropomorphic figure stepped out.
She had an almost perfect body, without a single flaw, her dress of Armored Clothing made of frost ice akin to that of Hua’an, its exposed snow-white skin smooth yet solid.
The tiny figure’s looks were also stunning, blending some features of Ian and Hua’an, only with a slight inorganic chill.
Silvery white hair flowed from behind her, the tips continuously sprouting and melting tiny ice crystals.
Besides, the Armored Clothing’s design on the little figure was quite peculiar, presenting a smooth yet simple beauty.
The structure was rationally constructed, it was clear that its elements were not just for show but actually served defensive functions and various special abilities as ‘armaments’.
Even, the Fairy’s right hand was holding a helmet, its front end sharp and multislit, with feather-like decorations and patterns on both sides.
It was modeled after the Tri-Mode Armed Power Armor ‘Silver Knight’ from Ian’s memory.
The little one opened her eyes, gold pupils sparkling, then narrowing, focusing on Ian and Hua’an.
She showed a heartfelt smile, the X-shaped wings behind her spinning as she flew up, circling around the Human and Fae before giving a big hug to Hua’an and then gently landing on Ian’s shoulder.
——Heavier than expected, lacking the light, fluttery feeling Fae usually give off…
Ian thought this, but in fact, most Fae are like that.
If you say they’re fluttery, they indeed are, but if you really consider their density…
Humans are mostly incomparable.
Don’t you know what an Anthropomorphic Heavy Abyss Iron Sword is?.jpg
“This posture, it kinda reminds me of those Silver Fairies.
They love to fashion their armaments with armored appearances, each donned in helmet and full gear…
But indeed, it’s beautiful!”
Blinking, she hugged the Frost Butterfly too, Hua’an started off puzzled but quickly clapped her hands with joy, “Yay!
We’ve succeeded!
The birth of a new kin!”
“Resembling both you and me, yet possessing a distinct beauty, the very temperament of the Frost Butterfly—this is a successful shaping and awakening!”
“That’s good…” Ian sighed, the aqua light in his eyes dimming.
He turned his head, asking with concern, “How do you feel, is your body alright?”
Originally, Frost Butterfly’s body was a pixel-sized person formed by Unmelting Ice from the Ice Abyss revolving around a Spirit Substance core.
But now, with the Fairy Body Shell provided by both Ian and Hua’an, she had truly become a ‘Fae’.
Although she hadn’t adapted yet, as soon as she mastered her own body and comprehended everything with Wisdom, she would reach the First Energy Level.
During this process, she would also hone her unique pattern of thought, accomplishing the shaping of her soul.
From now on, whether it’s Ian or Hua’an, there wouldn’t be much they could do to help her.
“Mhm.”
In response to Ian’s question, Frost Butterfly softly affirmed, having gained Wisdom just seconds ago.
Though she possessed common Fae knowledge from Hua’an, and Wisdom and knowledge from Ian, she would need some time to fully understand and assimilate this information.
So, she simply twirled her ice wings, whispering in an almost imperceptible voice, “I am well, Father.”
Ian fell silent for a moment.
