Chapter 216 - 216 205 Uncle and Nephew 13

216: Chapter 205: Uncle and Nephew (1/3) 216: Chapter 205: Uncle and Nephew (1/3) Ian naturally didn’t know the thoughts of Andor, the elf pirate, and even if he had known, his response would’ve been nothing more than “Simply because Spirit Energy is stronger!”

However, this pirate captain was by no means incompetent.

Realizing that the situation was extremely unfavorable and it was absolutely impossible to complete the mission of attacking Reverence Light, he chose to dive immediately.

This was the only correct choice because even Master Gossay, while having an overwhelming advantage, as a Sublimator with the Wind Attribute would not choose to enter the water and fight against the Sea Battle Armor Suit.

But the elder did not give up the chase.

“At seven o’clock, one hundred and thirty meters underwater, diving rapidly!”

In the sky, responding to Ian’s position, the old man lifted his cane.

He pointed it towards the rapidly descending Armor Suit, and then a berserk whirlwind began to spin in mid-air, drawing in several alchemy test tubes, causing red, blue, and purple dust and liquids to merge in the lightning and high heat, sparking a series of crackling electrical arcs.

[Alchemy · Fusion]

A method of transforming an ordinary matrix into a higher-grade Origin Quality product was effortlessly wielded by the master without any delay.

Everyone on Reverence Light sensed that, with Master Gossay at the center, all the droplets in the air were slowly evaporating amidst a clear ionization and the smell of ozone, while Andor inside the seabed Armor Suit widened his eyes, incredulously looking at the dangerous energy readings and high-energy weapon targeting warning transmitted from the Armor Suit’s control panel.

“Plasma cannon?!”

He exclaimed, “Canaan Moore’s curse words, what is this Imperial human-shaped heavy firepower Armor Suit!”

Andor wanted to speed up, but he was already at maximum speed—the pirate captain even directly pulled out the Element Furnace Core power interface of the Armor Suit and inserted it into his own spine, using his own high rank of the First Energy Level Origin Quality to additionally charge the Armor Suit’s plating.

But the dazzling alchemy plasma ball, with its outer layer blue and its core orange-red, had already been launched by Master Gossay into the deep sea, rising a pillar of white mist straight into the sky.

Theoretically, through the depths of several hundred meters of the sea, even Master Gossay’s full-force alchemy plasma ball should not be able to damage an Armor Suit…

but from the beginning, the elder wasn’t thinking about annihilating the Armor Suit.

It was the pilot he intended to eliminate.

Hum!

When the alchemy plasma ball accurately hit the light blue Armor Suit, dense currents immediately made all of the Armor Suit’s surface platings overload, a fine hexagonal shield barrier appearing on its surface.

The Element Furnace Core and the pilot’s Origin Quality outputted at maximum power to counter the attack at the Second Energy Level Peak.

Clearly, it was almost enough.

In an instant, a terrifying surge of lightning spread from the Armor Suit at the center in all directions—all animals, Magical Beasts, whether domesticated by Natives to follow or already living in the area, reacted as if electrified, then desperately fled towards the distance.

“Ahhhhhhhh!!!”

Inside the Armor Suit, the unlucky elf pirate hadn’t had time to do anything when he got hit by a succession of combos from Ian and Master Gossay, unable to fight back.

And now, while the Armor Suit wasn’t greatly damaged, the current that breached the shield system and conducted inside had directly electrocuted him to a half-cooked state—a deeply etched, excruciating pain flashed inside and outside every skin and nerve cluster all over his body, eliciting an extremely miserable scream from the pirate who was already accustomed to pain.

Following that, he lost consciousness.

The Armor Suit, having lost control from its master, slowly sank to the seabed, while Master Gossay took a breath, a worn-out expression on his face: “Truly tough to handle…

True to the name of being the epitome of highest technologies from various nations…

If I hadn’t anticipated this and brought enough materials, I would have probably been powerless to respond.”

“Moreover, trying to outlast an Armor Suit in endurance is indeed too foolish.”

Although it seemed Andor was completely suppressed by him, not even getting the chance to strike before being defeated, without Ian’s position report, without such an abundance of alchemy matrix to squander, the old man was very clear that relying on Second Energy Level power, it would be very difficult to resist a Sea Battle Armor Suit in the sea.

The opponent only needed to rely on the Armor Suit’s defenses to get close to Reverence Light and sink the ship, then things would’ve turned drastic.

The storm amidst the anomaly was not something easy to deal with.

Because he had exhausted too much Origin Quality to fend off the cannonballs and combat the Armor Suit, Master Gossay staggered toward the Reverence Light, having already downed a vial of essence Origin Substance Potion, but it would take some time to take effect.

And Ian, too, let out a sigh of relief.

With the Armor Suit taken care of, the majority of the danger in this mission was addressed.

Now, all that was left was to wait for Viscount Grant to pilot the Aether Armament…

The youngster suddenly widened his eyes.

He saw a crimson death omen enveloping Master Gossay.

—Although it was true that during the battle with the Armor Suit, and even when defending against the Pirate Fleet’s cannonball attack, such a death omen surrounded everyone on the fleet…

But why did Master Gossay have such an intense, almost certainly fatal, death omen, especially now that the Ironclad Shark had disrupted the fleet and the Armor Suit had already been repelled?!

Moreover, the death omen was even more intense than during the battle!

“Defense!

Master, full defense!”

Using the briefest of words to issue a warning, Ian saw Master Gossay jerk his head up upon hearing his voice, as if he too perceived something amiss, thus he looked up at the sky.

In that instant, the old man exhibited a look of shock, and several of the potion bottles circling him shattered, forming a thick silver-white crystalline defense layer that surfaced…

But in this world, there indeed are things that are faster than the wind.

Like lightning.

Boom!!!

With a dazzling cyan-white lightning bolt lighting up at the zenith of the sky, thunderous roars emanated from the dome, as a jagged bolt of lightning that seemed to carry the Azure Sky’s fierce anger, struck down upon the old man’s figure suspended in the rain curtain!

Far brighter than normal lightning, with more dense energy, a myriad of electric threads converged into one, shattering the crystalline defense before it fully formed, then hitting Master Gossay.

The old man plummeted like a stone into the waves.

Apart from Ian, nobody quite understood what had just happened…

Even Yisen Gard, the quickest thinker, might still be considering the improbability of a ‘lightning strike?

How coincidental…’ at this moment.

But the White Folks youth had already turned his head, looking toward the far horizon.

There, stood a tiny black silhouette.

He was in the center of the dark rain clouds, cyan-white arcs of electricity wrapping around his body, covered in black armored clothing, as compliant as a tamed hound.

The blonde man extended a hand, with the guiding arcs of lightning still twining around his fingertips, crackling in the air.

The man, who everyone had considered ‘mediocre’, watched expressionlessly as his own teacher fell into the ocean, then turned his head to look in the direction of the Reverence Light.

Black armored clothing covered his whole body from his chest to his neck, then fully over his cheeks, leaving only his eyes visible through the crimson compound lens structure that stared in that direction.

Staring at that one person.

A cold dominion spread, causing almost everyone who noticed his presence to involuntarily take a step back.

Only Ian, without any hesitation, raised his hand and wrapping his arms around the waist of Yisen Gard, who remained rooted to the spot, he carried this bewildered young master and jumped into the tempestuous Southern Sea.

Only the blonde youth was left, murmuring incredulously to himself, torn by the sea wind and the thunder, fragmented beyond recognition.

“Patrick…”

“Uncle?”
