Chapter 1104: Chapter 152: Love and Hatred Between Beastmen (Demihumans) and Elves (6200)_3

During this process, Elves internally gradually developed the ‘Pro-Azure Sky Pavilion Faction,’ dedicated to restoring friendly diplomatic relations with the Azure Sky Royal Court, as well as the ‘Self-Strengthening Faction,’ which similarly supported the restoration of normal diplomatic interactions, though only ordinary diplomacy.

“This is why the political system here in Canaan Moore has become so complex.”

Master Gravie finished speaking, involuntarily letting out a long sigh, and stroked his beard: “All historical legacy issues.”

“Indeed complex,” Ian nodded in deep agreement: “Too complex.”

—Isn’t it? This really has to be told starting from a thousand years ago; truly lengthy.

The history of Terra is indeed strange, but because it’s Terra, it’s not unusual.

The party issues within the Elves are essentially hatred between the Ten Great Royal Blood Tribes. The Sustenance Party had the opportunity to unify the Elves back then but was disrupted by the Pillar Party, and even though there was some reconciliation later, they continued their mutual struggles.

Master Gravie belongs to the Crimson Leaf family, and whether it’s Crimson Leaf, the Greyleaf backing Purple Maple Knight, or even the Elf Pirate Andor Linleaf whom I know, they are all branch lines of the ‘Green Leaf’ of the Royal Blood Tribes. In fact, all Elven tribes were separated from the Ten Great Royal Bloodlines, which is also why hatred between the bloodlines can be equated to the entire internal hatred among Elves.

“So, the one who sent assassins after you, Master, is it the Pillar Party?”

Ian thought for a moment, placing his hand on the railing, and turned his head to ask the elderly Elf: “The Pillar Party doesn’t want you to bring your research results back to the family, so they want to block you outside Canaan Moore.”

“…No.”

Master Gravie was silent for a moment before slowly shaking his head: “I think it should be the Sustenance Party.”

“Ah?”

Ian couldn’t help but feel nervous; he raised his head with some confusion: “But aren’t you…”

“The tribe behind me indeed belongs to the Sustenance Party. But my research… may not be in the field that the party needs.”

Master Gravie gazed worriedly northward, where only dark clouds formed, yet he seemed to see a towering, majestic giant city: “No need to hide from you, Ian; do you know what reform is currently taking place within the Azure Sky Royal Court?”

“No idea.”

Ian said slowly, his heart suddenly stirred, vaguely understanding that what he was about to hear was perhaps the real secret known only to top researchers across nations: “Master, please tell me.”

“Bloodline Great Fusion.”

The elderly man spoke concisely, but felt there might be some ambiguity in this term, so he chose a more academic term: “Cross-species hybridization.”

Unlike political systems such as The Empire and Canaan Moore where internal structure is extremely complex but relatively balanced, the Azure Sky Royal Court respects strength and convenience internally. As long as you’re united under the Great Khan, no matter what race you are, you can rise to become the Grand General Upper Pillar Country.

But even if my Azure Sky Royal Court boasts such inclusivity and racial equality, true racial equality isn’t possible. It need not be said, the Sheep Sub-humans and Deer Sub-humans, even if a few heroes emerge, how can they compare to the ridiculously superior physical qualities of Lion, Tiger, Elephant, Bear these Sub-humans? Not to mention those Dragon Sub-humans, each seemingly slender in body, but actually all steel-reinforced, fiercer than Magical Beasts, born Sublimators.

Adding to that, with hundreds of entirely different Sub-human clans big and small, managing them is far beyond simply being arduous. Thus, from multiple generations of Great Khans, the Azure Sky Royal Court has been researching technology related to bloodline great fusion.

“They intend to blend all the Sub-humans in the Azure Sky Royal Court, the Four Great Human Clans, Elf Dwarfs, and even the powers of Treants, Fae, Magical Beasts, and Dragons, creating an entirely new form of ‘Celestials.'”

Master Gravie whispered to Ian: “This is the news Spirit Wisdom Institute received from Mirror Sea Guard, which in turn received it from spies in the Azure Sky Royal Court. Though it’s passed through several hands, the source is still very reliable. This is the bloodline fusion project the Azure Sky Royal Court has always been pushing.”

“Of course, the ultimate goal is beautiful, but practical implementation is fraught with problems… Especially since the first step in the Azure Sky Royal Court’s bloodline fusion is to establish an unbreakable Blood King Court, overseeing all Sub-humans and other races, and to conduct extremely stringent genetic selection internally… The treatment disparity between poor and superior genes is massive; the former will be expended by various means, while the latter will be driven to reproduce.”

“In Canaan Moore, as far as I know, the Sustenance Party and Pillar Party each have two plans. Among them, the Pillar Party’s plan is similar to the Azure Sky Royal Court; they intend to enhance Elven bloodlines using advanced biological eugenics and alchemy to make Elves more akin to the legendary Elven form… Essentially immortal, agile, intelligent, perfect Elves.”

“Regarding the Sustenance Party… The goal is similar, but I’m not clear on the means because the Sustenance Party’s plan was finalized after I went to The Empire and likely has little in common with my research.”

At this point, Master Gravie sighed deeply: “My mentor was once a part of the Elven bloodline improvement plan, supported by the Pillar Party, and I inherited his legacy. What you speak of as Familiarization is essentially the foundation I envision for the ‘future Elves.'”
