Chapter 1102: Chapter 152 Beastmen (Demihumans) and Elves’ Lovers’ Affections and Resentments (6200)

In the perception of most Terra People, the Azure Sky Royal Court and Canaan Moore have been ancient feuds since ancient times. The grievances between the two sides were already formed back when they were scattered khanates and tribes during the Lost Epoch, and even after each side unified into a massive alliance and royal court, there was no reconciliation.

The Elves and Demihumans seem to have a natural enmity, spitting at the sight of each other.

Let it be clear, it is not an illusion.

Through the detailed narrative of a true elven scholar, Master Glarvie Feiye, Ian managed to understand the excessively intricate entanglement between Canaan Moore and the Azure Sky Royal Court.

Long, long ago, even before the Elves had written history and the Demihuman tribes lacked a true Great Khan, during a time when there were twenty or thirty different large and small khanates competing across the vast Huan Yu Plains, an extraordinarily gifted general, both in martial and scholarly abilities, was born.

He was the youngest son of the White Wolf Tribe’s chief, later known as Khan Ximor, the founder of the royal court that ruled over a boundless and vast land, Ximor Brad.

Brad, orphaned after his parents were killed, and with his clan exterminated, was captured by a rival tribe as a slave. However, with his incredible talent, he managed to deduce the key to physical strength by merely observing the daily movements and exercises of the enemy’s Sublimators, and daringly collected Magical Medicine Ingredients to become a Sublimator himself. He rallied a group of slaves and took advantage of a war between two tribes to establish independence.

Thereafter, Brad achieved victories after victories, even discovering, due to a gigantic torrential rain, the ancient ruins beneath the Suyue Great Plains, uncovering the core power hub of today’s Azure Sky Royal Court’s capital, the ‘Moving Royal Court’, and the mobile framework of the flagship ‘Conquest Sky Ship’ (at this point, Master Glarvie also furrowed his brow and muttered something about fate, clearly thinking the Great Khan’s luck was extraordinary).

Finally, in the fifteenth year after Brad declared independence, he conquered the core plains of Suyue and Chasing Star, became the Fifth Energy Level ‘Heaven’s Punishment Blade’, and ascended to khan beside the Sonnadahl River, founding the Azure Sky Royal Court.

It sounds just like the outrageous story any country has about its founding lord’s incredible (cheating) legend, seemingly unrelated to the Elves.

But the excitement lies here.

When the Great Khan of Azure Sky passed away, he left behind an almost unified Azure Great Plain, a newly established small semblance of order among the Demihumans, a dozen offspring under him with elites and valiant warriors, and a large number of foreign mercenaries.

Among them, of course, were Elves.

At that time, the Elves were very similar to the Demihumans, except Canaan Moore did not produce a Great Khan, and the ten great royal blood tribes were almost at each other’s throats, the slaughter being so brutal that even the Ogres would shout “a delicious spectacle”. Naturally, the Elven mercenaries, known for their contractual faith and expert killing, were among the Great Khan’s favorites, and he even had an entire Elven Guard Squad under his command.

In fact, even today, there are nomadic tribes primarily composed of Elves within the royal court.

After the Great Khan passed away, his offspring, of course, began to fight a civil war to seize the khan’s position. The elite guard, ‘Qiaxue Iron Cavalry’, initially left by the khan, also splintered due to the division of the khan’s descendants. After all, the Qie Xue Army was originally composed of the direct bloodlines of each tribe’s leaders and the most elite elites from the tribes, and without a khan wielding authority, they naturally had their own ideas.

To gain power surpassing the others, each child of the khan sought reinforcements from everywhere, even from Alien Forms or other tribes.

Some invited the Tree Shepherd Tribe, hence the southern part of the royal court now hosts this rather peculiar tribe. Some brought in the Fae, so it’s common to see flocks of Fae riding large moths, herding sheep while swooping across the vast wilderness in the northern part of the royal court. Others invited Magical Beasts, so even today, the Wise Magical Beasts have seats at the royal court meetings.

It is well known that the Azure Great Plain is a land of freedom, and if the Ogres could coexist with other tribes, there would indeed be Alien Forms tribes within the royal court.

And the ultimate victor, and the current khan lineage from that great civil war, the victor Chasing-Star Khan, the reinforcements he brought…

“…were the Elves.”

Master Glarvie stated: “During the Khan’s War, while each descendant of the Great Khan was trying to gain support from the Demihumans on the plains, Chasing-Star Khan realized that such internal consumption was futile, as it was inevitably a zero-sum game. He had to both open new sources and cut costs. Of course, in my personal view, this was because Chasing-Star Khan’s mother was an ordinary Deerfolk, and many Demihuman tribes looked down on Chasing-Star Khan’s bloodline, forcing him to seek outside aid.”

“Ultimately, Chasing-Star Khan personally journeyed to Canaan Moore and signed the ‘Iron Tree Covenant’ at Nai’an Chasm. Seven of the ten great royal blood tribes of the Elves provided reinforcements, and the remaining three helped with material support. The two great nemeses, the Thirteen Rivers Basin and Sudden Rain Wetlands, temporarily set aside their hostilities for the sake of this grand business deal.”

“Carrying the ferocious Canaan Moore Blood Army (back then, Elves showcased their bravery with red attire), they boldly launched a northern campaign, sweeping across the grasslands. Chasing-Star Khan ultimately succeeded in ascending as the Azure Khan, and the Elves received extremely generous rewards, aside from the promised treasures and inheritances. Five Elven generals were awarded extensive pastures and settled with their followers on the Azure Plains, marking the origin of today’s Elven District within the Azure Sky Royal Court. Of course, these Elves are long disconnected from Canaan Moore and are fiercer in killing Elves than Demihumans.”
