Bai Ruozhu fought back a smile and sweetly gazed at him. Jiang Yichun, feeling his own cheeks heating up, frustratingly avoided her gaze.

"I’m going in then, Dengdeng is coming in with me to get warm," Bai Ruozhu reached out to pick up Dengdeng, but Little Dengdeng refused to leave Jiang Yichun’s arms and grasped tightly onto his neck.

At this moment, Jiang Yichun looked proud. He chuckled at Bai Ruozhu, "Did you see that? The little guy likes me quite a lot."

Bai Ruozhu laughed helplessly. While her son was naturally closer to her, he seemed especially attached to Jiang Yichun. How could that be possible?

"Don’t worry, it’s very warm next to the pool because of the mist. If he goes in the room with you, it might get too hot. Plus, it’s troublesome to undress," said Jiang Yichun, unwilling to let Dengdeng go with Bai Ruozhu.

Bai Ruozhu rolled her eyes at both big and small before turning around and heading towards the bathhouse. After taking some steps, she stopped and, without turning her head back, said, "A gentleman should avoid looking where he ought not to."

After saying that, she walked briskly inside, her face flushing and fearing that Jiang Yichun would follow her.

Feeling butterflies in her stomach, she thought that maybe he didn’t mean anything by it, but by mentioning it, she had just hinted at something subtly. But not mentioning it made her scared that he might suddenly rush in. At this thought, her cheeks grew hotter.

Jiang Yichun watched as she rushed off, chuckling at her behavior. Did he look so desperate? Although he was indeed burning with desire, he had already promised to respect her and decided to fully appreciate her after their wedding.

Once inside the bathhouse, Bai Ruozhu managed to calm herself down after a while. She discarded her worries, undressed, and sank into the hot spring pool, sighing in contentment.

In ancient times without showers, being able to bathe in such a comfortable hot spring during a harsh winter was truly a luxury.

Feeling playful, she started splashing around in the bathhouse pool. All alone, she made a few splashes, mimicked a frog swimming, and merely walked around with her feet touching the bottom. "Ruozhu, are you alright in there?" Jiang Yichun’s voice made Bai Ruozhu startled. She hurriedly replied, "I am fine, I will be done soon."

"You were quiet, so I thought you had fainted in the bath. Don’t stay in there too long. Come out and eat something," Jiang Yichun advised.

"Alright, I’ll be coming out soon," Bai Ruozhu replied and walked reluctantly towards the edge of the pool. She wasn’t done enjoying this. If she had money in the future, she’d buy a small manor like this to stay for half a month at a time. Living like an immortal surely must feel this good.

As Bai Ruozhu was outlining her future of luxury, Jiang Yichun outside was burning with desire. She was oblivious to her actions, but the hints in her tone drove him mad. He was reminded of the moan she had let out that night that almost made him lose control.

Feeling his body heat up, he hurriedly undressed and laid his clothes on the ground, before setting Dengdeng on them. He chuckled while saying to Dengdeng, "Uncle is going for a swim, would you like to watch?"

Dengdeng began to wave his arms and kick his legs, clearly excited.

Jiang Yichun only wanted to wash himself and cool off to prevent himself from losing control when he saw Bai Ruozhu. However, since the hot spring water was indeed hot, his body felt hotter than before.

Bai Ruozhu, having dressed and with her hair slightly damp, found a large cloth to wipe herself before leaving. To her surprise, Jiang Yichun was soaking in the water, his muscular chest exposed above the water.

With her eyes covered with her hands, Bai Ruozhu left a small slit to take a peek. Her face reddened as she slowly turned to him, confirming that Jiang Yichun was still standing in the water. Feeling relieved, she dropped her hands from her eyes.

Jiang Yichun, amused by her action, teased her, "I am coming up now."

Bai Ruozhu cried out in panic again, "You, don’t come here!"
