Chapter 160: Chapter 160: Four Meetings

The car stopped beneath a tall building.

Song Cheng’an got out of the car and took Mu Yan inside.

At the reception, Song Cheng’an stated his purpose, and the receptionist immediately made a call to inform.

It wasn’t long before a man in his thirties came out of the elevator.

As soon as he saw Song Cheng’an, he jogged over, "Young Master Song, sorry to keep you waiting."

Song Cheng’an shook hands with him and smiled, "I just arrived, Director Gong. The noble are always busy, yet you came down to meet us specially. This is Mu Yan."

Mu Yan nodded slightly at Director Gong, "Hello, Director Gong."

"Hello, Miss Mu," Director Gong replied with a smile.

He stepped aside and said to Song Cheng’an, "Young Master Song, please."

"Director Gong, please," Song Cheng’an nodded and followed Director Gong into the elevator.

The elevator stopped on the twelfth floor, and Director Gong led Song Cheng’an and Mu Yan to the guest room.

Director Gong invited Song Cheng’an and Mu Yan to sit down, and looked at Mu Yan with a smile, "I’ve heard your songs, Miss Mu. They’re quite good."

Mu Yan nodded slightly, "Thank you."

Turning to Song Cheng’an, Director Gong smiled and said, "With Young Master Song’s backing, Miss Mu is bound to become extremely popular."

Song Cheng’an started discussing business with Director Gong while Mu Yan listened quietly without interrupting.

Seizing the moment while they were discussing, Mu Yan slipped out of the guest room to use the restroom.

Returning, she passed by the printing room just as a woman came out and handed her a set of documents.

"These are the documents the CEO needs, quickly take them to the meeting room; I’m headed to the restroom first."

Mu Yan hurriedly said, "I’m not..."

But unfortunately, the woman was too fast and had already entered the restroom.

Looking at the documents in her hand, Mu Yan felt it was like a hot potato.

She had just passed by the meeting room and knew where it was.

Checking around and seeing no one else around, she realized she had no choice but to deliver them herself.

She pushed open the meeting room door and saw it filled with people, immediately saying, "Excuse me, I’m here to deliver documents to the CEO."

"Bring them here!" a somewhat cool male voice responded.

The voice sounded familiar to Mu Yan. When she looked up, she saw the man at the head of the meeting table. Wasn’t that him?

He was actually the company’s CEO?!

Mu Yan lowered her head and walked over with the documents.

Ning Shishen took the documents, glanced at Mu Yan, and said calmly, "Thank you."

"You’re welcome." Mu Yan nodded slightly and turned to leave.

Ning Shishen watched her exit, then refocused on the ongoing discussion.

Mu Yan closed the meeting room door, her brow slightly furrowed. How coincidental was that!

Though, he might not remember her.

Mu Yan returned to the guest room, where Song Cheng’an and Director Gong’s discussion was still ongoing.

Today’s interview was really just an "inter" view; she wasn’t needed at all, it all relied on Song Cheng’an’s eloquence.

"Young Master Song, let’s conclude for today; I’ll report the details to the higher-ups," Director Gong said, getting up and extending his hand to Song Cheng’an.

Song Cheng’an stood up as well, shaking his hand, "Then I’ll be waiting for your good news."

"Alright."

Director Gong escorted Song Cheng’an and Mu Yan out, heading towards the elevator.

Coincidentally, the meeting on the other side ended as well.

Ning Shishen came out and saw Mu Yan and the others leaving, asking the person beside him, "Who did Director Gong receive today?"

His assistant followed his gaze and responded, "Young Master Song brought an artist over to discuss an endorsement."

Mu Yan? Ning Shishen mused for a moment, then said, "Have the HR manager come to my office."

He walked a few more steps and added, "Also, have Director Gong come to my office later."

"Yes!"
