Chapter 830: Chapter 630: Five Discs_1

In this world, there are seven colored moons, comprising red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and purple. Each night, a moon of a different color appears, following a never-ending cycle.

Tonight, it was the red moon’s turn to descend upon the night sky.

The faint dark red light enveloped the earth, casting an ominous red hue over the faces of all beings. From a bird’s-eye view above, the land would appear infused with an abnormal blood-red—as if the entire world were stained with blood, creating an eerie and turbulent atmosphere laced with an undercurrent of bloodshed.

Since Su Yu and Qin Jiagui, under the guidance of Qi Ming, entered the boundless skies to become Silver Soldiers, they had spent four more days in the Hundred Clans Settlement. During these four days, Su Yu and Qin Jiagui’s gains were immensely substantial.

Su Yu had principally contemplated the divine skill "Five Great Destructions" passed down to him by Xingyu, feeling that he had reaped significant benefits. Qin Jiagui, on the other hand, had sought guidance from Qi Ming and managed to effortlessly resolve many issues that had previously bewildered him.

Zhu Dasheng had been assisting Qing Huang, and although Qing Huang had not made much progress in these few days, it wasn’t without any gains whatsoever.

After spending a few peaceful days, chaos erupted on the evening of the fourth day when the red moon rose into the night sky—the Hundred Clans Settlement was in trouble.

Under the glow of the red moon, two silver arc-like rainbows, resembling dragons, sliced across the sky with the sound of "crackling" as if tearing through the atmosphere. They were followed by thunderous "booming" echoes that shook the heavens and earth, awakening many residents of the Hundred Clans Settlement from their dreams.

The Double-headed Eagle Clan flapped their wings in panic, emitting "guagua" screeches. They were all too familiar with these "booming" sounds, for it had only been days since such noises heralded terror and the deaths of numerous beings.

Zhu Dasheng from the Centaur Clan, an elder of the Treants, Su Yu, Qin Jiagui, Qing Huang, and even the exceedingly lazy Ada, were all startled awake and rushed out of their dwellings to look up at the sky.

In the night sky, two dazzling silver arcs formed a colossal silver railway track spanning the horizon. At the end of this track, amid the fearsome "booming," a Silver Train roared as it descended once more.

"Is it those bastards from the Silver Empire again?" The Treant elder, gripping his wooden staff, face flushed with rage, realized the worst they had feared was happening.

Although their Settlement Leader, the Black Warrior Qi Ming, had seemed rather unconcerned, the Treant elder, Zhu Dasheng, and the others were secretly worried. Would the Silver Empire and Demon City really let the matter rest? After all, Qi Ming had killed more than twenty of their minions right here—could the incident truly be concluded?

The worst-case scenario had finally materialized. Accompanying the ominous arrival of the Silver Train, everyone noticed that this batch seemed different from the last. Notably, this Silver Train closely resembled a tractor-trailer, followed by carriages that bore huge silver mechanical constructs.

As the Silver Train descended along the track right above the Hundred Clans Settlement, the silver machines stored on the carriages began to stir to life.

With "creaking" noises, the previously inert silver monstrosities started to move, swiftly transforming into towering silver machines of various kinds.

The machines took on diverse shapes: some had eight sprawling mechanical silver legs like spiders; others had giant silver tails curling upward like Giant Scorpions; yet others spread countless spikes resembling gigantic centipedes, and there were humanoid Silver Giants; their designs were varied and eccentric, with all types of configurations present.

One after another, the silver behemoths rose from the carriages of the train in the sky and leapt down into the open air.

With resounding "booms," the silver monsters landed in the Hundred Clans Settlement. A Silver Giant lifted its tail hook and with a "sssth" sound, it pierced a seven-story building. With a violent tug, "boom," the building collapsed instantly, cries of agony ringing out as people scrambled out.

"Gaka-gaka—" Terrifying sounds echoed from the silver machines. A Silver Warrior raised both arms and then a rapid "tatatatata" sound ensued as its arms transformed into giant spinning reels, unleashing a barrage of silver bullets.

The silver bullets, specially crafted for maximum penetration and lethality, could gravely wound even Silver Soldiers upon impact; a hit to a vital spot was instantly fatal.

In the madness of the silver bullet storm, many humans and other creatures attempting to flee or fight back screamed in pain, convulsed, and soon turned into honeycombed figures before collapsing heavily to the ground.

"These damned fellows—" Zhu Dasheng let out an angry roar, "Warriors of the ’Centaur Clan,’ follow me—"

Zhu Dasheng was the leader of the Centaur Clan within the Hundred Clans Settlement, and with his roar, the strong members of the Centaur Clan began to mutate. Soon, they transformed into beings with the heads of men and bodies of horses, charging toward the closest of the giant Silver monsters, which resembled a crocodile in appearance.

The entire Hundred Clans Settlement, having recovered from their initial shock and stupor, immediately orchestrated a powerful counterattack. A single person might not stand a chance against these Silver monsters, but when a group banded together to take on one, it wasn’t without resistance.

Su Yu and Qin Jiagui, watching this slaughter, couldn’t help but feel their blood boil and wished to rush out to test the strength they had grasped in recent days. Suddenly, they felt a weight on their shoulders as thick hands pressed down on them.

Startled, Su Yu and Qin Jiagui turned around, only to realize that it was Qi Ming who had stopped them.

With a faint cold smile on his lips, Qi Ming said, "You still need to go to the ’Imperial City.’ It’s not suitable for you to join this fight, the Silver Empire... Humph—"

Suddenly, he raised his voice and with a heavy hum, he abruptly charged out, like a large black bird. Upon landing, his feet smashed down on top of one of the Silver giant robots’ heads.

The sound of "creak, creak" resonated non-stop, and beneath his feet, the Silver giant robot utterly burst apart, its myriad circuits sparking with "crackle and pop" noises.

After hearing Qi Ming’s words, Su Yu and Qin Jiagui were slightly taken aback. They exchanged a look, knowing that Qi Ming might have said they shouldn’t engage just to spare them the scorn, but the real reason was likely that their strength wouldn’t change the outcome at all.

Qi Ming’s speed was astoundingly fast, describing him as a black streak of lightning wasn’t an exaggeration. The Netherworld Sword on his back began to emit dark light, and when he drew the sword in a reverse grip, his figure resembled a Black Dragon sweeping everything in its path. Whether it was the Silver spiders, the Giant Scorpions, or the Silver mechanical giants, none could withstand a single blow. They were all shattered to pieces in front of his Netherworld Sword, no match for him at all.

Su Yu and Qin Jiagui stood in the rear of the crowd, watching Qi Ming from a distance in awe. Ada perched on Su Yu’s shoulder and suddenly asked, "Su Yu, how far are you from reaching Qi Ming’s level?"

Shaking his head, Su Yu sighed, "Too far, not even close." He thought to himself that he would have to absorb the power of the Netherworld skull to stand a chance, but devouring the power of the Netherworld skull was a double-edged sword, and such concerns had always prevented him from trying.

Ada smiled gently, then suddenly let out a soft gasp and looked up to see the carriages of the Silver Train parked in midair opening up, with wave after wave of humanoid Silver-armored warriors emerging.

Su Yu and Qin Jiagui now understood that these giants clad in Silver armor must be the real Silver Soldiers, and their ranks were undoubtedly higher than their current levels. Qin Jiagui could only manifest a single Silver giant fist, while Su Yu’s transformation was limited to his left arm, chest, and back turning to Silver, with the rest still remaining in bronze state.

Below, as Qi Ming continued to soar and slay the Silver monsters, he suddenly burst out laughing. Taking a leap, he actually collided with the Silver Train.

This action was insanely bold, and many among the crowd below couldn’t help but cover their mouths in shock.

With a "boom," Qi Ming’s body emitted intense black light as it collided with the Silver Train in the sky.

The colossal Silver Train shook violently, and immediately, the Silver-armored warriors who had leaped up began to show their skills and collaborated to attack Qi Ming.

Qi Ming laughed heartily, flipped over, and landed steadily on the top of the Silver Train. Almost at that moment, a stern voice came from above, "Back off!"

At the sound of this voice, the troop of Silver-armored warriors, as if commanded by a divine edict, retreated explosively, clearing space. Qi Ming also stopped his assault, holding the Netherworld Sword, which was now radiating a ten-meter-long black glow, and looked up, knowing that the true adversary of the night was about to appear.

In that day’s battle, he had slain more than twenty Silver Giants and creatures of the Darkness. Powerful and awe-inspiring, he had deterred everyone present. Since the Silver Empire was intent on destroying this place tonight, it was implausible that they would only send these Silver monsters or warriors to deal with him. For Qi Ming, these adversaries were nothing but shrimps and crabs, easily crushed.

Following the stern voice, five Silver discs appeared in the void above.

The discs, about ten meters in diameter, had ten Silver columns around their perimeter, constantly emitting white beams of light from their bases. Now, these five Silver discs descended from the sky, each with a figure standing or sitting atop it. They quickly arrived just tens of meters above Qi Ming’s head and came to a stop.
