Chapter 795: Chapter 605 Giant Eye City (Begging for Monthly Tickets)_2

As for the principle behind it, no one has yet been able to provide a definitive conclusion.

Night fell, and a red moon cast a pale crimson hue over the entire world. Su Yu stowed away the Dark Heart, which now had only a third of its size remaining. The other two-thirds of its energy had been completely absorbed into Su Yu’s body, transforming into an astonishingly powerful electric energy.

The Phoenix Dragon Beast also flapped its pair of dragon wings, rising from the ground. Ma Ziye said softly, "Su Yu, there are so many giant birds in that valley. It won’t be easy to sneak in without alerting them."

Su Yu hummed in agreement, saying, "Man proposes, God disposes. We must at least let the Phoenix Dragon Beast take a look. Let’s complete this wish and hope that we all have good luck."

After hearing Su Yu’s words, the Phoenix Dragon Beast felt touched. In fact, Su Yu and Qin Jiagui and the others had no need to accompany her back into Phoenix Valley and take the risk, plus it meant delaying their journey unnecessarily, which made their situation even more perilous with pursuers on their heels.

However, Su Yu had his own plans. Given that they were already being watched by several hawks in the sky, running anywhere would make no difference. Instead, he decided to keep the Phoenix Dragon Beast company to fulfill its wish. Furthermore, he felt that there was something extraordinary about the Phoenix Dragon Beast, and this investment might yield considerable returns in the future, just like the day he encountered the stranded little girl, Feng’er, in the Demonic Forest.

If he had not saved the little girl Feng’er that day, he would not have received the half-year agreement promised by the Golden Skeleton. He would have long been reduced to a pile of bones, with no chance of still being alive and entering this world.

And the Phoenix Dragon Beast was another of Su Yu’s investments.

This creature possessed both dragon and phoenix heritages, and ever since it could remember, it had been inside the Bronze Tower. Moreover, the reaction of those giant birds after they entered Phoenix Valley during the day further convinced Su Yu that there seemed to be a story hidden within, one that was worth uncovering.

Qin Jiagui’s thoughts apparently aligned with Su Yu’s. Remarkably, after coming to his senses, Qin Jiagui did not rush to look for Yuan Niping. Su Yu could see that after the Sky Prison incident, Qin Jiagui had become much more reasonable. In their current predicament, seeking out Yuan Niping was clearly not an ideal decision. Moreover, even if they wanted to find her, they were momentarily at a loss as to how to go about it.

This time, they did not directly break through the bamboo forest in the valley like they did during the day. Instead, they took a large detour, climbing over a huge peak. Ada sensitively detected the presence of giant birds along the way, quietly warning everyone so they could bypass them. The Phoenix Dragon Beast, guided by the brand memory within its body, sensed the specific location of its mother. Eventually, after climbing over the mountain and circumventing a canyon hundreds of meters deep, they arrived at a desolate valley that appeared very bleak. Numerous iron chains crisscrossed the valley, looking ancient and rusted, exuding an aura of desolation.

When Su Yu and the others, following the Phoenix Dragon Beast, stealthily navigated half the night and finally arrived at this desolate valley, just as they took in the sight of the iron chains scattered throughout the valley, suddenly, from the end of the valley, the faint sound of conversation could be heard.

This sound entered their ears, sending a shiver through their hearts, and they immediately stopped in their tracks.

It happened that after the battle at the Floating Island Sky Prison concluded, the "Giant Eye" tasked the mysterious Miss Yana with punishing Su Yu and Qin Jiagui.

On one hand, Yana ordered Weike to have fox hawks keep an eye on Su Yu and the others, telling them not to act rashly and to wait for her return to make any moves. Then she directly left the Floating Island Sky Prison and hurried to the east.

She was filled with a sense of justice. No matter what, for the sake of the tens of thousands of innocent lives lost in the Floating Island Sky Prison, she was determined to bring the perpetrators behind this massacre to justice and to make them understand that regardless of their standing, anyone who violated the world’s order would have to pay an equal price.

This was the hope left to her by the original owner of the hat when it was gifted to her. Yana pressed down tightly on the sunhat on her head, lightly bit her lower lip, and her beautiful eyes glowed with fearlessness and determination.

Two days later, Yana, wearing a sun hat, crossed layer upon layer of high mountains and what unfurled before her was a city of marvel that surpassed the imagination.

This city floated above successive mountain ranges, its shape vaguely resembling a ship, but if one were to look up from the very bottom of this floating abode, it would become apparent that it closely resembles a human eye. In the center lay an incomparably giant sphere, upon which countless small buildings and roads were densely embedded in comparison with the city itself. The giant shape was enveloped by a ship-like form, floating amidst the clouds, partly concealed and partly visible.

Beyond this sky "Giant Eye City", scattered among the high mountains below, were another eight cities of almost identical design, each city’s scale far surpassing the so-called Ten Great Giant Cities of the "Black Iron World".

The most noticeable feature of these eight cities was the towering, majestic archways that each boasted. These archway structures were all constructed from white silver, somewhat resembling the Silver Archway managed by Weike, but their size was easily a hundred times more grandiose and monumental.

The eight towering Silver Archways stood high, while the Giant Eye City that floated in the sky positioned itself at the central point of these archways. The eight Silver Archways were like the most faithful guardians of the Giant Eye City.

The expanse of the Giant Eye City was already beyond the scope of the human eye to perceive completely; paired with the eight towering Silver Archways and those eight massive cities below, it exuded endless authority and domineering presence, seemingly the ultimate seat of power in this boundless world, a Holy Land worshipped by billions of creatures.

Upon arriving here, Yana went straight into the "Giant Eye City" floating midair, as if she was extremely familiar with the place. Although the Giant Eye City was heavily fortified, she made her way deep inside without delay, soon entering a bizarre structure connected by a series of metallic corridors, filled with long hallways as intricate as a labyrinth.

The sun hat on Yana’s head, now seemed electrified, emitting a faint glow that guided her direction. Eventually, she reached the end of the corridor, before her now appeared a massive door suffused with faintly discernible charm forces.

Yana let out a soft sigh, removed the sun hat from her head, and whispered, "I have never used it before... but for the thing I’ve been holding on to, I believe...you would also support me in doing this."

Yana murmured to herself as the light radiating from the sun hat in her hand grew increasingly intense, eventually transforming into a pure energy that infused the charm-laden giant door before her.

A humming sound arose, and as the energy suffused the charm giant door, it slowly began to part from the middle.

Yana took a deep breath and stepped inside.

Within this charm giant door, there was only a pure gold platform. On the platform lay an ordinary-looking black box, about one meter in length, less than half a meter wide, and not even half a meter tall. At that moment, it was secured to the pure gold platform with several Golden Chains, and a golden lock hung upon them.

When Yana saw the black box, her body began to tremble slightly, as if she encountered something she wished not to see, yet was compelled to do so.

Taking a deep breath, Yana held out her hand in a reversed gesture, and the pure energy previously embedded in the giant door now transformed into a key. As the key was inserted into the golden lock, a crisp "click" resounded, and the lock opened.

Yana removed the lock, withdrew the Golden Chains, and then extended her tremulous, delicate hands to cradle the black box, which was already lightly covered in a thin layer of dust.

As Yana tremulously held the black box in her hands, her whole body shook violently. Abruptly, a faint sigh echoed behind her. (To be continued, for more, please visit www.qidian.com. More Chapters are available online, support the author, support genuine reading!)
