Chapter 611: Chapter 470: Legacy of Power

From afar, the "Undead Remains" appeared to be littered with broken walls and ruins, resembling the remnants of a once colossal city. However, its land area was so vast that even with Su Yu’s vision, he could not see the end of it. He could only see the numerous ancient walls and stone gates between the walls, and the occasional ancient columns or buildings that were relatively well-preserved. The whole area emanated a sense of antiquity.

"Su Yun, which way should we go next?" Su Yu asked from Ada’s back, as he spotted a group of people approaching the area. They appeared to be fifth or sixth order, evidently here for some sort of training.

The individuals noticed the presence of Su Yu and his companions, but due to the distance and their unfamiliarity with his background, they did not react. They simply continued on their way.

"This way." Su Yun directed, her memory of this place was crystal clear, having spent a lot of time here. Ada complied with her directions, burrowing into the stone gates, and venturing deeper inside.

The "Undead Remains" was somewhat similar to the "Demon Beast Mountain Range", the creatures near the outskirts were usually weaker, but became stronger towards the nucleus.

Upon entering, they could see grey-robed creatures lingering between the high walls confronting them. These grim reapers styled creatures had skeleton heads, draped in grey robes, and held black iron sickles in their hands. These were actually the lowest level creatures, Category 5 ordinary undead lifeforms, known as "Skeleton Soldiers".

Ada followed Su Yun’s directions and rushed forward. The group of Skeleton Soldiers drifted towards them. Su Yu suddenly shouted at them, "Get lost!"

His shout, imbued with the horrifying energy of an eighth-stage warrior, caused the skeletons to crumble with a resounding clatter.

Zhang Zhongmou was startled and dumbfounded, "Wow, just shouting at them worked?"

As the string of Skeleton Soldiers crumbled, Ada did not stop and continued on.

After a while, the ruined Skeleton Soldiers slowly reassembled and began to float around again. Su Yu had merely scattered them temporarily and had not yet reached a stage where he could eliminate them with a shout.

Following Su Yun’s guidance, Ada sprinted along with their group, releasing traces of their potent warrior aura to deter the undead creatures from pestering them. Fear instinctively made these creatures run away, not daring to approach the aura emanating from their eighth and seventh order warriors.

En route, they encountered a group of Black Iron Warriors who were being besieged by dozens of Skeleton Soldiers. As they were caught in a fierce battle, Ada carrying Su Yu and the others flew past overhead. The undead soldiers all fled away, surprised, quicker than rabbits – vanishing in a blink of an eye. The bewildered group of trainees could only stare in shock, their mouths wide open, at a loss.

Meanwhile, Su Yu and the others had long disappeared from view.

Adhering to Su Yun’s directions, Ada sprinted at an astonishing speed. They did not encounter any undead creatures that dared disturb them along the way. An hour later, Su Yun finally announced, "We’re here."

Immediately, Su Yu and Zhang Zhongmou dismounted, as Dodo gave a loud bark. The wooden man stepped forward, "Is that it?"

A dilapidated palace, once presumably grand, but now in shambles, encircled by high walls greeted them. Su Yu furrowed his brows, as he could not sense any formidable aura or energy fluctuations inside the ruin. When his companions ventured here, Ma Ziye’s strength ranked among the top. However, everyone except her returned safely. So, what happened to her?

"Ada, can you sense Ziye’s aura?" Su Yu inquired, turning to Ada.

If Ma Ziye was indeed inside the palace and so close, Ada should be able to detect her.

Ada was about to reply when the wooden man interjected, "Leave it to me. You mean a girl? Follow me." He strode towards the dilapidated palace.

Su Yu, Zhang Zhongmou, and Su Yun were taken aback. Su Yu thought of the wooden man’s ability to locate the "Tears of Timis". In the "Demonic Forest", even Category 5 creatures like Ada lost their way, but the wooden man easily found the "Tears of Timis". It must be a breeze for him to find Ma Ziye in the palace.

Ada turned to Su Yu, hopped onto his shoulders, and said, "Let’s follow the wooden man."
