As they sprinted less than a hundred meters, they finally encountered the first attack of the creatures residing within this Gold Elemental Space.

The attackers were a group of yellowish Rock Monsters, named "Gold Rock Monsters", bursting out from the vast yellow ore underground. These Level 6 common monsters numbered no less than twenty, roaring and charging towards Ada.

Zhang Zhongmou laughed heartily, being the first to jump down. Once he landed, he transformed into a Rock Monster that resembled the Gold Rock Monsters. Now a Seventh Stage Expert, he seldom used his Red Lotus Sword — its power was virtually eclipsed by his bare hands.

As a Seventh Stage Expert, Zhang Zhongmou’s entire body mutated. His rock-like defense was no worse than Su Yu’s black scales and was even superior in certain aspects. Roaring, he launched himself into the attack, smashing his right rock fist forward while shouting "Rock Crushing Fist—". With a loud boom, the Gold Rock Monster that was charging towards him was shattered into pieces, and a monster crystal flew up, merging into his body.

Zhang Zhongmou, a Seventh Order Intermediate Warrior, facing off against the pack of Level 6 regular Gold Rock Monsters was like tearing through rotting wood — too easy to be worth mentioning.

Qin Jiagui, Zhao Shichang, Su Yun, and Ma Ziye also joined the fight.

Evolved to the Sixth Order, Ma Ziye’s Primordial Beast was a gold attribute, which has evolved into a petite, golden, fox-like creature. When Ziye combined with her gold-attribute Primordial Beast, her strength increased dramatically. Now, her "Heaven and Earth Net" had reached the ultimate skill level, with her Steel Spear upgraded to a Steel Poisonous Spear capable of inflicting poison damage. Ziye even merged this poison attribute into her "Heaven and Earth Net", mutating it into a poison-infused Heaven and Earth Net. This mutation, enlightenment, and continuous grinding between life and death, eventually helped her evolve into a Sixth Order powerhouse.

Currently, she had the most potential to break through to the Seventh Order Realm following Su Yu and Zhang Zhongmou.

Su Yun summoned her fire-attribute Primordial Beast, and with a swing of her staff, she continually released fireballs.

One fireball after another flew out, exploding with a "pop" sound. One Gold Rock Monster after another was blasted apart. Su Yun’s offensive power has always been her greatest asset.

There was no need for Su Yu to make a move. He watched as Zhang Zhongmou and the others quickly took care of the twenty-odd Gold Rock Monsters. As they sprinted, they periodically encountered attacks from packs of Level 6 monsters. Most of these monsters were ordinary beasts, although occasionally elite-class monsters appeared. As for boss-level monsters, only one appeared, which was instantly decapitated by Su Yu.

Despite a few scares along the way, everyone finally arrived at the dark whirlpool that served as the entrance to the Fourth Layer.
