"Ada." He called for Ada as he sat up after regaining consciousness.

"Ada is here." Hearing Ada’s voice, Su Yu hastily looked around and realized he was facing an endless ocean. He had just been lying on a beach next to the sea. Not far from him, Lei Leian was still unconscious. The soft light from the sun in the sky gently warmed their bodies.

"What... happened?" Su Yu shook his head to clear the haze, slowly recalling what he encountered before losing consciousness.

"The Green Giant God jumped into the sea with you two. The impact knocked you both unconscious. The Green Giant God placed you on this beach then returned to the Demon God World. Otherwise, you would have fallen into a severe state of decay," Ada explained, then added, "Su Yu, we’re in quite a predicament."

Finally recalling the series of events, Su Yu nodded in understanding. He knew this time round, their situation was truly dire.

"What is the origin of that girl, how can she possess such terrifying power that even the Green Giant God dared not take a swing at her?"

With a hand on his forehead, Su Yu glanced at Lei Leian lying unconscious beside him, apparently unharmed, which brought him slight relief.

"I don’t know...The girl is special and has an odd origin. The Green Giant God seems to know something, but it didn’t tell me. However, I think her power has only just awakened and she should not be able to use it freely in the short term, we still have time to find a solution," Ada pondered, then stated, "In terms of power, the power displayed by the girl at the time didn’t seem to be stronger than the Green Giant God. Yet, the Green Giant God was wary of her, suggesting her origin must be terrifying... This girl is no longer someone we can deal with."

Gazing at the unconscious Lei Leian, Ada mused, "If she really is connected with the Black Iron Guardian, perhaps... that could be our only chance of survival."

"Ada, do you know where we are? How do we get back to Black Iron City?" Su Yu was inquiring when Lei Leian groaned lightly, finally regaining consciousness.

"Ah—" Just as Lei Leian woke up, she let out a piercing scream, promptly sat up, and saw Su Yu and the boundless sea in front of her. Fear arose on her face. Instinctively she covered her chest with both hands. Gradually, she realized her clothes were intact and the panic on her face subsided. As she slowly recalled what had happened before she fainted, she finally whispered, "Thank you, you saved me."

She knew it was Su Yu’s Demon Divine Beast that had saved her. Otherwise, she would have died.

"You don’t have to thank me, Lei Leian," Su Yu sighed, saying, "To tell you the truth, if we can’t figure out a solution, you and I won’t survive much longer. The young girl’s origin is too terrifying, and I’m certain she won’t let us go. My Demon Divine Beast is powerless against her. And I’m afraid that as her awakened power continues to grow and mature, she’ll soon... appear before us."

"I know." Lei Leian gave a bitter smile. Su Yu was somewhat surprised at how quickly she had composed herself after the drastic changes that took place in the main city. He gave her a few extra glances before asking, "Lei Leian, what exactly is your relationship with that ’Black Iron Guardian’, Beth Finley? If we could get her help, maybe we’ll stand a chance."

Lei Leian looked surprised, "The Black Iron Guardian, Beth Finley? Who is she?"

Su Yu was taken aback. "You don’t know her?"

Lei Leian shook her head, a baffled look on her face, "I’ve never heard of her."

Su Yu looked helplessly at Ada, who returned his look with a clearly frustrated expression in her eyes.

"Impossible, there can’t be two identical people in this world, and even their voices are exactly the same, yet... there seems to be no connection..." Su Yu muttered to himself, feeling increasingly desperate. Now that the Green Giant God dared not attack the girl, he must find someone mighty enough to counter her. But the mighty beings associated with him were not necessarily able to help them at all.
