As energy rays kept radiating, the Water of the Netherworld kept depleting, the terrifying seal freezing the whole Ice City was vanishing, and the long dormant city was on the verge of revival.

"Su Yu, hurry—" Ada hopped up anxiously. All around, the ground was shaking and cracking sounds could be heard. The ice layer on the surface began to fracture, the cracks rapidly widened, and audible creaking sounds filled the air. The countless ice sculptures around them began to show signs of melting, with the Water of the Netherworld flowing from them. When they finally managed to break free from the dense cluster of ice sculptures, Ada let out a long howl and instantly transformed into his largest form of fifteen meters, yelling: "Su Yu, quick, the Netherworld skull."

"Mmm." Su Yu threw out the Golden Skeleton Head, which Ada gulped down with a wide open mouth. Then, Su Yu, with Doudou in tow, leapt onto Ada’s back and secured himself.

They watched as glaciers around them collapsed and the ground fissured at a pace that matched Ada’s. Every time Ada shot forward, the ground beneath him would collapse, releasing a flood of water. If Ada were even half a second slower, he would have been swallowed up by the collapsing ice and rushing water.

Seeing this, Su Yu knew that if it were just him and Doudou, they would have long been buried under the collapsing ice, with no chance of escaping.

Ada kept heading west while avoiding the falling ice and avalanches.
