Chapter 322: Chapter 259: Outburst, Stunning Everyone (2nd Update)

"Damn it—" Wang Hu roared, slamming both of his hands onto the ground, instantly unleashing "Frozen Heaven and Earth".

In an instant, a rampant layer of ice emerged, like a huge tide of the Yangtze River, surging towards Su Yu.

Stationed on the spot, Su Yu’s special power flowed endlessly from within, pushing the "Apocalyptic Storm" around his body. The storm clashed violently against the incoming freezing force, and the resonating energies burst into dazzling light with deafening explosions. The incoming blocks of ice were shredded and shattered by the storm.

Su Yu stood at the center of the storm, and with a stretch of his right hand, a massive bolt of golden lightning struck down, hitting Wang Hu, who was fully exerting the power of "Frozen Heaven and Earth".

"Roar—" Wang Hu’s body shook violently, letting out a raging bellow. "Frozen Heaven and Earth" instantly collapsed, and with a push from Su Yu’s hands, a terrifying white storm that had reached a radius of four to five meters, swept outwards.

"Ahh—" Wang Hu screamed wildly, instantly engulfed by the storm, flying out at an angle, carried by the storm’s momentum.

Wang Hu was among the strongest of the sixth-order powerhouses, and at this moment, he was flung far away, engulfed by a whirlwind, his life hanging by a thread. The other sixth-order powerhouses involuntarily gasped in surprise, all stopping in their tracks.

Su Yu reappeared, his aura strikingly imposing. Specifically, his use of the "Apocalyptic Storm" to sweep away the powerful Wang Hu had given the other sixth-order powerhouses quite a shock. The level five and level six powerhouses hundreds of meters below took note of this and felt a tightening in their chests. Every one of them memorized Su Yu’s image.

After a brief moment of stupor, someone among the group of sixth-order powerhouses on the Dark Giant Ship called out, "Well, look at that, he even managed to step into the sixth order during battle—"

Someone else responded with a sneer, "If someone like him stays alive, where’s our place in this world?" After a short pause, envy welled up in the hearts of a few and almost simultaneously, three sixth-order powerhouses charged towards Su Yu.

One of them held a treasure weapon, a long sword that radiated a dazzling, gloomy blue light. It looked as though small blue snakes were attached to it, and with a wave of his hand, the blue snakes were electrified and grew larger. In an instant, they sprouted dozens of heads, attacking Su Yu from multiple directions.

Another one transformed into a creature resembling a cheetah, but with a black unicorn horn on its head and sharp spikes on its claws. He leapt from the ship’s hold, diving towards Su Yu below.

The third sixth-order powerhouse extended his right hand, a ring on his finger shone with a bright light. He cast a spell from his mystic treasure ring, and with a flicker of the ring’s light, he swung his arm, manifesting a radiant long spear out of thin air. It descended with a shrill whistle, heading straight for Su Yu.

Su Yu remained silent, wagging his left hand, he once again initiated the "Apocalyptic Storm." Huge gusts of steam and fog gushed out like a geyser, making a whistling noise similar to the hooting of a steam locomotive. In an instant, a giant tornado encircled him, sweeping up all the blue snakeheads the Treasure Weapon-wielding sixth-order powerhouse had sent his way. Meanwhile, Su Yu’s figure flashed and collided with the cheetah-like creature with the black horn. He extended his Golden Claw, grabbing and pulling apart the creature’s arm.

Even when Su Yu was still at level five, the Golden Claw possessed enough strength to stand against terrifying powerhouses of the sixth order. Now that he had stepped into the sixth level, the surge in his special power had correspondently amplified the power of his Golden Claw. With one grab and pull, he tossed the cheetah-like creature’s body which had altered due to the sixth-order powerhouse’s transformation, and sent it flying into the distance.

With a "whoosh," the radiant spear that one of the sixth-order powerhouses had summoned through the mystic spell, pierced the falling body of the cheetah-like creature.

With its body impaled, the radiant spear released terrifying energy from within via the mystic spell and tore through the cheetah-like creature’s body, letting out a ghastly roar. Su Yu lifted his right foot and kicked, sending the creature soaring into the distance before it plummeted down from several hundred meters above.

Everyone watching this knew that the cheetah-transformed powerhouse, who was first hit by the magic spell and then fell from such a great height, was undoubtedly doomed to die.

Another sixth-order powerhouse had lost his life.

The one who had summoned the radiant spear and accidentally struck an ally stared in shock before Su Yu appeared in front of him with a smirk on his face.

From behind, a sixth-order powerhouse suddenly cried out, "This guy’s a lunatic, I’m not playing with you guys!" He leaped off the hull of the ship quickly plummeting downward; this sixth-order powerhouse was scared.

"Kid, I’m going to fight you now!" One of the sixth-order powerhouses was frightened, but Lei Xiong among the group, let out a wild laugh, stamped his feet, and lunged at Su Yu in the blink of an eye.

Su Yu extended his left arm horizontally, and the Golden Claw stretched out.

Lei Xiong seemingly knew the dangerous power of the Golden Claw. He rotated his feet on the ground and swiftly swayed his body like a willow tree, delivering an elbow strike to Su Yu’s back.

With a muffled grunt, Su Yu stumbled back a couple steps. He turned to glance at Lei Xiong’s mutated legs.

After becoming a sixth-order powerhouse, Su Yu discovered that although his right leg had mutated and become stronger, it had lost a sense of balance with his non-mutated left leg.

Both of Lei Xiong’s legs had mutated, and his quick counterattack showed a dexterity that surpassed freshly minted Sixth-order Su Yu. This was why he had successfully struck Su Yu.

"Haha, kid, you’re nothing special," Lei Xiong laughed. However, he didn’t attack Su Yu again. Instead, he pivoted and dashed towards Xiao Nan.

Su Yu remained silent, simply extending his hand and activating "Wrath of Thunder".

A huge bolt of lightning, two feet wide, slashed through the air. No matter how fast Lei Xiong ran, he couldn’t dodge the lightning. Forced to evade, he was followed by Su Yu’s "Landmine Devourer". The golden lightning burst everywhere within several feet, causing Lei Xiong scream continuously as his veins suddenly bulged all over his body.

"Little devil, you’ve enraged me!" With a large stride, he turned away from Xiao Nan and charged at Su Yu. At this moment, his veins seemed electrified, entwining with each other. His body appeared to be cloaked in a bloody armour, indicating his full power was at its peak.

Two more six-order powerhouses took this opportunity to launch themselves at Su Yu, flanking him from the other side.

Seeing the trio rushing at him, Su Yu suddenly leapt and dropped down, sliding into the hull below. The three assailants, who were going full-throttle, shared a moment of confusion as Lei Xiong collided with the two other powerhouses. Lei Xiong was indeed fearsome, being able to withstand two sixth-order powerhouses by himself. All three grunted in unison. Meanwhile, Su Yu, having dropped down, shifted his position, broke through the wooden boards from the other side of the ship, and sprung up. Extending both hands, he activated "Apocalyptic Storm" once again.

Immediately, a large amount of steam sprayed out and quickly formed a terrifying white fog storm around Su Yu. He didn’t intend to kill these people, but was trying to buy time. No matter how strong Su Yu was, he wouldn’t have been able to compete alone against these six-order powerhouses.

"We’re running out of time. This kid doesn’t seem to want to kill the woman, he’s just trying to stop us," one of the powerhouses finally perceived the problem.

"Correct. Let’s band together and finish him first. Then we can see who comes out on top," another suggested. All the remaining sixth-order powerhouses quickly approving this plan.

With their unified intention, these powerful individuals each had several mystic treasure rings. As everyone prepared to deploy their magic, the aggregated power became so overwhelming that even if Su Yu were several times stronger, he would undoubtedly be pulverized, with both him and Xiao Nan being reduced to non-existence.

Su Yu took a few steps back. Seeing the six-order powerhouses preparing to cast their spells together, he had no choice but to grab Xiao Nan and prepared to jump off the Dark Giant Ship.

Just then, a thunderous roar echoed from the sky. The two battling Demon Divine Beasts had reached a decisive outcome. The "Eternal Blue Giant" Oureboste had grabbed the "Immortal Nine-headed God" Xutedela and lifted it into the sky before violently throwing it down.

With a tremendous "boom," it was as if heaven and earth were collapsing. Xutedela, who was larger than a hundred meters, fell from the sky, landing squarely on the Dark Giant Ship.

The terrible fragmentation cracks instantly shattered the hull. Su Yu, Xiao Nan, Lei Xiong, Xiao Qibake, and the other powerhouses were all shocked and cried out. Momentarily, they were all as helpless as ants when thrown off.

Su Yu hugged Xiao Nan tightly and fired the "Tooth Burst" trailing golden lightning. He dropped first, seeing the terrifying Demon Divine Beast up close for the first time, and feeling the dreadful power emanating from its snake-scale covered body for himself. Just being close by sent chills down Su Yu’s spine.

As they tumbled down through the air, Su Yu, using the lightning power dragged by the Tooth Burst, wrapped around the hull of the ship and rolled down with Xiao Nan in his arms.

The group of powerhouses that were originally stationed under the Dark Giant Cave were now fleeing in all directions. Some of the fifth-order powerhouses reacted a little slower and were instantly crushed by one of Xutedela’s dangling snakeheads, exploding into a pile of blood without leaving a trace.

Xutedela was severely wounded and covered in blood, but it still rolled over and one of its snake heads rose, opening its huge bloody mouth for a suck. Immediately, seven or eight fleeing fifth and sixth-order powerhouses issued fearful screams as they were sucked into its mouth. (To be continued...)
